Seems more like something WCW late 90’s would do!
If I’ve got my timings right, Jake would have been heel but was strange seeing him standing for the national anthem and some of his comments were more middle of the road than heelish.

Jake on commentary here reminds of his very brief run with JR on WCW Saturday Night in late 92. He wasnt bad IMO.

lol good to see The Nasty Boys get there asses beat. I did a show with them a couple of years ago and they just beat the hell out of us! I am proud to say I took three chair shots, and a wet floor sign to the back from them, but I am not proud to say that I was indeed a victim to the horrible "Pit Stop!" But they were also so much fun to hang around with.

Interesting that they had Jake Roberts do commentary though for this.
I like how the fans went all quiet when Jake pulled out the cobra ha ha ha.
