There are rumors out there that Rock is trying to clear his schedule to do Rock Roman at mania in 2022 plus they would have a full stadium of people. Does that mean Roman keeps it for over a year?
Make sense as Dwayne would be turn 50 that year and clearly would be the finale match for him,he's not going to comeback for a match against Reigns with zero fans or a very limited crowd.A match between those two built up over the next year or year in a half leading to WM 38 would be huge.

Three rumored matches each featuring a part-timer, sounds about right.
I had zero interest in seeing Roman vs Goldberg at the last WrestleMania, no desire to see it at the next one, plus the outcome is obvious.
While Edge vs Orton would still be a good match, I’d rather Edge face someone he’s never wrestled before.
It should be Drew vs Keith one-on-one. Lesnar in title matches got old five years ago.
I’m sure plans will change. I don’t expect them to go all out considering they will have a limited live crowd, if any.

I’m choosing not to believe anything at this point regarding title matches. One day there’s a report that they’ve had next to no plans regarding Mania. The next day a report says Reigns could face Goldberg or McIntyre. Then another report says Reigns could face McIntyre or Daniel Bryan. Then you get Lesnar thrown in there, and then someone says there’s no talks of Lesnar. Let’s wait and see what happens with Royal Rumble first. The only thing I’m expecting at this point is Orton vs Edge as it’s been talked about since May or June or whatever.

NXT needs some matches in Wrestlemania too. WWE has them competing against AEW but doesn't think they're worth having matches at Wrestlemania???

NXT needs some matches in Wrestlemania too. WWE has them competing against AEW but doesn't think they're worth having matches at Wrestlemania??? They've really flip-flopped on how they want to treat NXT. When AEW first came around, they did the huge survivor series push, put NXT over huge there (In what was actually a super fun Survivor Series. Despite them screwing up both Roddy & Adam Cole's entrances. Grr.. Wait for the damn boom, and don't you dare cut the camera away right before the "bay-bay"). After it became clear that NXT was not going to be a major competitor in the ratings compared to Raw/Smackdown, that it was losing every week to AEW, and that it was only competing for about 150k viewers that flip-flop between AEW & NXT on Wednesdays, they decided it could take a back seat again and go back to being developmental. We'll probably get a token NXT match, either the men's or women's title like they did with Ripley this year, but I wouldn't count on anything more than that. Honestly, it's fine though. Takeovers are great, and the WM card is so big as it is. Can't really fit a 3rd brand on there anyways. Too many damn titles. |

I think in terms of a card; that would be pretty likely. I don't mind Edge closing out his program; with Orton. I watched they're Backlash match and it was pretty horrible imo. It told a good story; but I don't know? Them hitting random wrestlers finishers; why? That doesn't make it a good match; a very poorly placed spotfest done in bad taste. I think that match could of been done a lot better; but I am some dude on the internet so IDK. I think Edge should close out the program; and with what happened at Backlash the character almost seems obligated.
Maybe; we can have Edge return and get side tracked and Orton get side tracked with two separate programs. Have both of them walk out of Mania strong. But; go to war at the near by event with Edge closing it out.
I think if I got to keep the matches conservative. Edge should have program with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Mcintyre, Kevin Owens are the first that come to my mind. If Rollins is back for Mania/maybe we can seg into that for Mania. I wouldn't mind Edge having one more title run; just to drop it at the next event.
This Mania I have feeling may fall kinda flat; or could get it's act together and form into a star studded Mania.
