The double sleeves don’t bother me, but the size of the head and how high it sits on the neck does. It is a solid alternative, however, to dropping $75+ on elite 12 or hall of champions.

Not sure why there's so much hate for the double sleeved attire, but it's a pretty memorable look in my mind. I already have the basic double sleeved Kane out to represent that era, but otherwise I'd totally be using this figure for that era.
It's a great figure and a really good price. They'll probably make an Ultimate at some point, but that could be in months or years. I'd get the figure and cross that bridge when you get there. Kane figures clearly hold their value, so you won't have any trouble reselling the Deadman's Revenge or you could just display it with the Taker head.

Kane won his 1st championship in that attire against Stone Cold at KOTR 98. So yes it passes for AE Kane.

Why wouldn’t you be able to? With the Kane head on, it’s literally a Kane figure.
