Are we pretending to like that doc Hendrix or are we admitting that it’s one of the worst figs Mattel has made in a long while. Ok, funny thing, I didn't even watch wrestling prior to the attitude era... And even I'm cringing at your calling him "Doc Hendrix" Do you think that makes you cool? |

The Hayes is the look I wanted, WCCW era, will look great with Kerry and Kevin Von Erich, minor complaints are the shirt should be sleeveless and would have preferred red knee pads, would have loved a red robe but I understand, what really bothers me are the inclusion of the glasses and the pics on box which represent his WCW run. His WCW look would have made for a much better figure in terms of eye appeal but as a WCCW fan I’m glad to have it.

Yeah, the red robe would have been cool - but I wasn't really expecting it (...standard Macho Man Elites never have a cloth robe, so there wasn't much chance of a one-off Collector's Edition figure having one!). I don't mind the shirt not being sleeveless... he usually had either a sleeveless/crop-top shirt or a t-shirt (when not wearing the robe):  |

I may be in the minority but I love that Hayes. His eyes are a little coked out looking but that’s somewhat accurate lol

Nope, wasn't trying to be cool, or mean for that matter. I was just pointing out something that made me go "ehhhhh" I'm not trying to offend anyone or be rude but, in my mind, it's a bit like if you looked at a Undertaker figure and referred to it as "Mean Mark". You aren't wrong, and it isn't like it's offensive in any way, it's just that his career as Michael Hayes stands out so much that it just seems a bit awkward, especially when the figure is very clearly of Michael Hayes (Not Doc Hendrix).

Hopefully the hair will look better on the final/released figure, but overall I'm pretty pleased with it. With all due respect, if we wanted to spend $25 for a head sculpt and cloth accessory, I'd say okay. But it's a figure - an inaccurate figure. Let's just call a spade a spade. Even that reference pic you shared, the figure has the wrong knee pads and boots, not to mention he was never that cut. I can't see how this doesn't look like a "phone home" figure. Maybe budget was spent on tooling for Dusty's crow claw hat *shrug* |

But I am pretty sure he should have tall boots regardless the attire. I only remember him wearing tall boots and he was wearing tall red boots in the movie.  As for the torso maybe that wasn’t Mattel’s call? The WWE and wrestlers have a say in the figures. Sting’s torso, Flair’s torso, Ziggler’s arms and legs, Cody’s arms and legs, Fandango’s torso (now used on Morrison) all are exaggerated of what they should be. Hell even Jakks gave him the CW torso with some nice abs. |

why do they always make dustys face stupid looking? every figure of him has been trash Vince makes them do that design because he thinks it's funny. |

Maybe budget was spent on tooling for Dusty's crow claw hat *shrug* I don't know... it just doesn't seem that big a deal to me - he sometimes wore red kneepads... sometimes black; sometimes had a crop/sleeveless shirt... sometimes a t-shirt 🤷♂️. I agree, he was never that cut - but Mattel has a habit of "idealizing" their figures (...just look at Ric Flair, lol). Overall, I'm pleased with the figure though - it might not be a home-run figure... but I don't think it's particularly bad or too inaccurate either. |

Wondering if E83 is going to make it before Xmas? We’re about a week out and already in “mid-dec”, can anyone from RSC shed some light on when these might ship? Not a chance. Its taking 10 days to process orders the way it is. hopefully with sales being done orders will go a little quicker, can’t blame ringside though they’re doing all they can plus I’m sure they got extra orders this year with the pandemic and empty shelves in stores |

Can't wait for the Ultimate Edition to come out so i can make a Return Edge display.
Going to have 1 MOC & 1 loose of each, as well as the Royal Rumble Plaque above it all.
