Ok so flashback to August 1999.
We have the 1st episode of SD! airing as competition to Thunder as Vince looks to completely destroy WCW. HHH is the newly crowned champion....He has the on again/off again programme with the Rock going and after the events of the previous Raw where HHH won the title? things are hot between the pair again.
Rock delivers a scalding hot promo on HHH at the start of the show & the ME is set...HHH vs Rock with Commissioner HBK as the special ref.
So as we know HBK turns heel & nails Rock with a superkick as he criss crosses for the "Peoples Elbow" to cost him the match(great spot)
So my question is what were the hopes here? Prichard & JR have both said the DX reunion as heels to support HHH was already planned at this point & Chyna was set to do her own thing.. Was HBK set to be a part of this(managerial role maybe) & his pill addiction got the best of him?
Was he set to be part of Chyna's separation? because on TV she just suddenly stopped hanging out with HHH with zero explanation....maybe HBK was set to be part of this & when he started effing around they dropped it.
It was strange to see DX reunited and Chyna is just...there. Not interacting with them at all. its still strange as hell to me.
