there are 64 men and 20 women offically on the AEW website. Its been tough to really judge since they have been in this Pandemic more then running a normal show. I cant really tell what story lines would have been or how integral wrestlers from out of the US would have factored into storylines.

While I'm fairly certain Hikaru was always supposed to be champ for a long time, they've said that having the Joshi's stuck overseas and not having access to Bea/Sadie definitely impacted their plans for the women's division in a major way. (Then of course the Britt Baker and Kris Statlander injuries. Man that division got hit hard this year) On the mens side things were less disruptive. Losing PAC for so long was huge, but even when they had to do that mad scramble and tape like 8 weeks of dynamite in one shot, they said they made it to double or nothing this year with like 80% of what they had originally planned. They've been working with basically the full roster since then.

I'd get shut of: Alan Angels. Luther. Marko Stunt - I LOVED Jurrassic Express before he turned up. Preston Vance. Absolutely all of the Dark guys. Leva Bates. ive watched marko for years, since his first match here locally I can not stand him or his family who are riding on his "fame"... just incredibly annoying...also "look at me im small". I can not take a 5 foot 2 guy who weighs 30lbs seriously in wrestling.

The fact that each week I swear we see new women or men on AEW Dynamite who are just getting signed and we haven't seen half of the roster yet on TV is just odd. That librarian buy is the perfect example. He sits at ringside during Dynamite to just sing Jericho's theme song. It's like if you are friends with Cody, Omega or the Bucks, you will automatically get hired.
Another thing to add is there's too many executive vice presidents in AEW. Apparently they never heard of the old saying Too Many Cooks Spoil The Soup. That's another part of their problem I’ve certainly never heard of that supposed old saying. I’ve heard of too many cooks in the kitchen though..

Marko does well in that spot and younger viewers like him. He’s pretty non offensive in AEW.

He's pretty over for what he is, he can sing great (I don't know how that's going to chime in beyond how it already has, but it's always good to have other talents to contribute), and he's probably not a very expensive contract to keep.

Brodie Lee is one they can get rid of. They blew their load with him way too soon and there is nowhere for him to go. He is no threat for the World title and he already lost the TNT belt awfully fast.

I do find it really interesting that they use so many enhancement talents on Dark. They could easily have had that show was a true 2nd show without it being 12 matches we already know the outcome of.

I think giving non-contracted wrestlers a paid gig was the best thing AEW did during the pandemic. I hope they keep using Dark as a place holder for wrestlers who aren't being used at the moment and a chance for others to get reps in.

Both things are true. From everything I heard, the "enhancement talent" was paid more than a normal rate.
