I visited Amsterdam in 2019 for a week. I hung out with a few groups of UK'ers and did that dumb American thing where I asked them about British Bulldog and they were like "Who?"

Nope, I moved back to Belfast in 2002 unfortunately lol. Whereabouts did you live here? I’m born and raised. A rare breed in this town.

Cant say Ive ever been to the UK or Europe and cant really say that I wanna go honestly. Nothing against anyone from there but it just seems like it never looks "enjoyable". Almost every time I see pictures/video its overcast, wet/rainy and cool/cold....Im sure they have seasonal temps like everyone else but it just seems like its visiting Washington/Oregon which are the two states the absolute lowest on my list to visit.
I wouldnt have minded going to Canada when I was younger. Places like Toronto seem like a more "night life" type atmosphere but Im not much for the night life at this stage of my life.
I personally still want to travel to Japan. That's my #1 foreign destination and always has been.

new york is the cesspool of america. Literally equal to chicago, both equally horrible. I'd argue that it's not, but I did see one homeless guy give another homeless guy a BJ outside of Taco Bell soooo. lmao! see!

Last thing I want is dying in the sun on a tour of the city. Japan is beautiful though. Probably the best place I ever visited.

I recently drove around Scotland for a week and the wet weather made for some spectacular moments. Like standing in the ruins of a fort on the banks of Loch Ness and seeing the mist rolling down over the hills on the other side. I've been to Amsterdam in all seasons and while my last trip was great for going to the beach (in nearby Zandvoort) you really don't want to be walking up to ten miles a day around the city in 32C heat. Too much rain isn't enjoyable either but there's a nice middle ground where it's cool and overcast.

I was in Paris one year and took a day trip to the Alsace region and it was quite spectacular. To walk through towns and cities like hundreds of years old surviving two world wars is quite moving.

I'm from Canada, but I would like to travel to both the US and UK at some point. The US would probably be easier and I've got friends in Seattle that I want to visit so that's the top place on my list and...actually, that's the only place on my list. So I guess I want to see Seattle and the UK lol.
