Anyone else have a hard time getting into this one? I love Austin and have watched and enjoyed every one so far but this one didn’t do it for me. And I really like Drew too. I think he’s one of the best things going today. Just seemed like there wasn’t any chemistry or anything between the two.

Haven’t watched it yet, but I will be possibly this weekend. It’s certainly possible for an interview not to click, they won’t all be perfect.

If it's better than the Ambrose one we'll be fine.

Thought it was alright, I enjoyed it for what it was worth.
I think the reason why it wasn’t top notch was two fold — they covered a bunch of this stuff already on his WWE 24 special so some of it was kind of repetitive, also felt kind of like Austin was trying to lead McIntyre on similarly to what he did with Ambrose with some of his questions. Like Austin asking him about locker room leadership and then asking immediately after something like “right?” Or “wouldn’t you agree?”
For the record I love Austins podcast specials on the network but I do feel like he goes about his interviews differently depending on the guest. The best part about guys like Taker & Flair was just two vets shooting the s#!t. But you look at Deans, Drews, and even to some extent Angles interviews there’s times where it gets kind of uncomfortable because it feels like Austin playing the vet and almost trying to like teach them something instead of just getting to hear from the guest.

I enjoyed it. Especially listening to him talk about Roman and some of the things he did that weren't part of the script. Also really liked hearing him talk about what lead to his initial push floundering and hearing his attitude now.

I liked it a lot. Generally I prefer Austin’s interviews with his own contemporaries, but I enjoyed this one with him picking the new top guy’s brain, and discussing the performance nuances and things that don’t generally come up in other docs and interviews Drew has done that I’ve seen.

I enjoyed it. Drew most certainly gets it this time around. Happy for the guy
