It always saddens me when you find out someone who was tough as nails or a beast among men was battling dementia. The man was a legit tough guy & a man's man. But he was very humble & quiet about it. The stories about his feats of strength are amazing. Rest peacefully, Mr. Hodge.

While he didn’t get into bar fights and bite people’s noses off(to my knowledge) Hodge was a badass in the vein of Haku. He was Jim Ross’ hero being Hodge was from Oklahoma. Well respected amongst the amateur and pro wrestling community.

broke Oli's nose and busted a rib on his first tryout with Verne. a lot of people, when describing their toughness, would start with 'I'm not Danny Hodge but...'
