I was ecstatic to receive my Cyber Monday 2.0 (or maybe 3.0 I forget) order from Ringside the other day, and finally got a chance to unbox everything today. Nothing better than receiving a nice lot of MOC figures and then get to sit down and just open them all. When I got to the set of Wrestlemania figures I got everything opened and wanted to put Ellering together First thing I noticed was that I got 2 right arms with Chyna: Then, with Edge, I got the closed suit jacket torso which isn't the one I want....on top of that the arms absolutely will not "pop" in the shoulder and lock in place. I mean I was trying to push them in as hard as I could without breaking, usually they get that little pop and are in place but it just won't happen. At this point though I don't know what I can do. I understand this is not a fault of Ringside, but I literally can't do anything with this Ellering now because I can't build him. On a side note too, the E81 Shinsuke I got has incredibly loose shoulders and torso bend.

I had a problem with my Ellering arms not popping in the shoulder as well. Its because Mattel attached the arm to the wrong peg on the shoulder. If you heat it up and pop it off the correct peg is on the other side.

I had to use some channel locks to pop the arm in.

Ill probably have to find em for you lol Apparently this is a common thing though, Warsman said his Ellering arm was messed up as well.

I wonder if they rushed this set? My chyna and my edge both had 2 left arms. I want to try and get a voucher but I know I’ll never find them in stores.

The set I got every one Chyna,HBK, Edge and Goldberg were all messed up, Goldberg had a big black mark in his forehead, chynas feet were so loose she wouldn’t stand, edge had loose feet, hbk had a spin waist so bad he wouldn’t stand, boot was swollen looking like it was broke, and had black stuff all over his head. Then the Ellering , the reason I got the set, his waist wouldn’t pop together and had a black mark on his head. Worst set EVER. But Mattel did send me checks to pay me back for every one of them, then I burned the figures. 😁

I actually found the correction by accident because I was swapping out the hands on the BAF and using a different arm since mine wouldnt lock in place.

Maybe we can get Steve to chime in. This set is pretty bad all around.

All mine have issues. HBK had 2 right closed fists and a loose floppy ab crunch. Chyna's left boot spins freely and left arm looks likes its going to detach at the bicep. Edge's left shoulder looks like its split in 2 and bicep looks like its detaching also. The best of the bunch is Goldberg who has a torn left knee pad. Luckily my Ellering came together just fine and has no problems.

Mattel's quality control has been horrendous for years now, the worst being this year. Every single 2020 release i've bought this year, has had at least one glaring QC issue. I bought two Edge's from this set, and both a Left & Right arm on each were warped out, as well the left leg on one. Also, the shoulders almost felt glued on they were that stiff, thankfully i've been able to move them since. On top of that, one of the Ellering heads has misprinted eyes. I've since been able to fix the arms & leg enough to where they look somewhat natural, but to get an idea of how warped they were, they looked almost identical to Vegeta's arm from this iconic DBZ scene. I placed an order on RSC recently, including two of both new Edge Elites, and one of each new Keith Lee Elite. Since then, i've found out that Edge has an error where he includes the 'Too Sweet' hands, instead of his RNR hands... which will suck since i was planning on keeping one of each Edge MOC. As for the other two Edge's and both Keith's that i plan to open, I'm already expecting bad QC issues. Especially on Edge, since he (for whatever reason) still has the small torso, which is notorious for having a left shoulder issue where if you move the arm enough in one direction, it'll snap and become as i call - 'A Helicopter Arm'.

Finally encountered the infamous torso/shoulder on one of my O'Reilly's, and my Belair's arm was badly warped from the packaging pose, as was one leg of my Legends Warrior.
I mean, who knows how much more stress those workers are dealing with over there. If there are less people working harder hours to continue to get these out for us gluttons.

I guess I got off easy with my Goldberg not having the young Ellering head which I of course noticed after opening the figure.

I have the pin issue and the Chyna figure had frozen shoulder that had to be heated.

Very glad I’m waiting for mass retail on these then. The Wrestlemania shippers are always filled to the brim with the Mania elites, only challenge is trying to get the figure they idiotically decide to make one per case but even that’s not too bad. I’ve expanded my hunting area by double in the last 18 months so I’ll definitely get good ones

Got a reply back from mattel, good news.
"Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm so sorry to hear that the right arm does not connect to the torso for the build a figure. I can definitely help you with this.
What I would like to do is mail a $28 refund check. Regrettably, I do not have a replacement available. Please look for it to arrive at the address you provided within the next 14 business days
Thanks for being part of our Mattel family!
Best Regards,
Amy S"
