This set, Mattel and targets are a joke. All my targets are only getting 1-2 in at a time and they are in repack boxes with other toys. I go to target the day they get them in and the employees can never find them. Really frustrating, and when you do find any they have the greater odds of the boxes having damage since they are already reboxed which sucks for MOC collectors like me. Just another reason why I’m getting close to being done collecting. More hassle than it’s worth as of late. Similar story here. I got an email that they were available at the local store. I called almost immediately. Spoke to someone in the toy dept who said she looked on the floor and in the back. Said she would leave a note at customer service and come in around 6 or so. So I did and no luck. Customer service said he shows it at two local stores. So I call them and no luck. So frustrating. I cant live at target until these hit. Whats the point of a back in stock feature on the app if this is the result?

I set the notify me when back in stock option on the app. It emailed me your item is back in stock but it didn't let you order online. Said get them in store and I have a local store set in.

No others to be seen. I thought it strange Warrior would be left over but if Target is breaking up cases and shipping loose random assortments then it adds up. Why they would do that makes no sense though. They started doing this with Funko product too.

Ive so far found umaga, warrior twice, and titus at different targets on different days. They are trickling in 1 or 2 at a time at one target i was told they were getting 1 figure on Wednesday and sure enough I went and there was 1 lonely titus.

Gave up this morning and ordered from a UK based shop that just got them in stock today. (Not sure the rules on mentioning other sellers) Shipping is a little heavy but the Target runaround isn't worth it. Beyond that, there is a scalper in our area that cleans up new products. Truly have no idea if they've even hit our area because if he catches them first, they all get scooped. Haven't fig shopped at Walmart since Brickseek changed from exact counts to vague counts. If Popfindr doesn't come back Target will follow suit.
Not trying to come off as spoiled, but it is 2021.
The technology is there to: 1) Sell products online. 2) Offer preorders online that actually get executed correctly.
3) Help customers find products in stores.
Beyond sites like Ringside, retailers - ESPECIALLY Walmart and Target - are resistant to help in those three spaces.
In the end, Mattel suffers and consumers suffer. Both of which are very affordable.

how is mattel suffering there making money either way What he means is they could be making alot more. Because these figures are so hard to find in certain areas and online they are losing out on sales with collectors, casuals and parents

Can't figure why Target is shipping one figure at a time to stores. Saw it again as I found one lonely Stone Cold. Makes no sense why would they start breaking cases like they are Walgreens? If that stays as a norm Target will soon be an afterthought for figures.

how is mattel suffering there making money either way I think there's good reason to think that Mattel is selling far fewer figures than they were a few years ago. That's less revenue for Mattel, which is definitely not a good thing. That said, most of these issues mentioned are retailer problems, not manufacturer ones. At the end of the day wrestling figures are a fraction of a fraction of percentage of sales for the big box stores. I'm not saying this to be dismissive, but I don't think they really care about anything beyond do the figures that they order sell through.

It's really odd, and also seems super inefficient.

I called like a dozen targets in my area today and no luck. Its disappointing to see people buying 5 or 6 figures at a time. Why are some stores getting full pegs and some not so much? I dont get it they are so worried about pegwarmers they only risk buying one or two ar a time?

Some will get a ton - while others may get none.

Neither of the two targets have a spot for these royal rumble figures and have condensed the wwe section down yet again.
Mattel what is the point of target carrying figures when they clearly dont give a crap?
