Also I would like to note I have spoken with Zach Gowen about the rumor of him having a figure. I was a vendor at a wrestling fest he was a guest at a couple of years ago. He said he was never scanned or planned to have a figure, however he said the leg was most likely why. super nice guy, spoke to him for about an hour or so.

I always wished it had of been Perry Saturn doing the dress gimmick in 2006 instead of Vito. But Perry had his demons at the time sadly. Thank God we got a very good figure of him though. Toybiz made a Perry Saturn in a dress right? Yeah been trying to track it down but most listings don't include the dress

I wish the Haku and Bulldog in jeans early 2000s Jakks had been made. Prototypes exist but since the guys didn't last before the figures came to production, or had been phased off TV, Jakks decided to scrap the figures. That was about the time I stopped collecting and I liked those guys since the 80s so was pretty disappointed they weren't produced.
As for that list, I would say it would have been awesome to have a Mantaur figure with bull head. As a kid I thought the insane gimmick guys would be the most famous and I thought that about Mantaur. I would watch every TV show hoping for an appearance and would wonder why the heck he wasn't on a PPV. I thought he was awesome.

Jarrett I understand, but I don't get why they didn't release Malenko. First time figures always sell and he was still signed with the company when retired. He would've been an instant buy for me to complete The Radicalz.

At the time he was heavily rumored for ROTR3 - The Stephanie we got seemed like such a late and random addition - we never got accurate promo pics of her, and then Dean was shown with the entire series (Besides Eddie) at Wrestlemania so it seemed like a shoe it, plus the rest of the radicals were in the set and it was a Rulers of the RING set so I'll never understand Stephanie. Plus we had 2 on shelves already (TTL7 and RSC2) And if they were worried Dean would Shelf warm - Stephanie Figures were worse and she was EVERYWHERE - I found TTL7 Stephanie so many times (Even though i thought it would be hard) and then we got a worse figure in this set - Made no sense.

Ive never seen the HAKU prototype, do you have a pic? Heres bulldog I forgot about the series with Stasiak and Stephanie. Stasiak was a strange one. I don't remember him wearing street clothes. I think he would have given Jackie or Dr. Death a run for their money on the store shelves. The Stephanie from that series, the good girl Stephanie was pretty cool. I'm shocked Haku doesn't have any images on google images. I'm 100% sure they took a picture of his figure. It was the series with action features. I'm sad to say the only other one I remember was Rikishi where you could move his upper body and his hands would slap his butt. The Haku was supposed to have a feature where his head would move forward for a headbutt. After his Royal Rumble return and forming the team with Rikishi he didn't stick around on main TV long and I think the line was planned for no earlier than June 2001 (or maybe that was when they came out with protos) so with Haku not being on Raw or Smackdown at all Jakks decided to scrap him. It's also funny that a second series of Jakks thumb wrestlers were scrapped (Bret Hart, Patriot, Pillman, Crush were pictured as protos) considering the LJN second series of thumbs were scrapped also. I never really cared for add ons to wrestling series's like thumb wrestlers, minis or bendies and I would have rather companies used their money to put into making other additions to the regular lines.

I totally remember hearing about that Haku - he was slated for Stunt Action Superstars 2 - I don't think protos were mass released but the moment you said head butt action I remember his name in the line-up

Classic Superstars of Savage, Steamboat, and Kerry Von Erich.
From this list, the only ones I would have bought would have been Glacier and Mantaur.

only if the Zach came with a removable leg so he can win the Rumble match If I'm not mistaken there was a prototype Zach Gowen False. I actually covered this either in this thread or another. I personally talked to Zach for over an hour at a wrestling fest/show i was a vendor at. The room was just the talent and vendors while the show was happening so we had downtime to talk or whatever. We brought Trevor murdoch with us, who wasnt able to work the show. I got up and greeted the talent who came, and Zach was sitting across from our table. we chit chatted the afternoon. I asked him if he was ever scanned or planned. Zach said he was never scanned for either a video game or a figure. He also mentioned that it may have been because them not knowing how to do the leg both in game and figure.
