Brody looks great. Kind of wish the vest were sculpted on since most Hasbros featured non removable entrance gear of some kind, but that’s a small complaint. Looks incredible. I will absolutely be purchasing Brody and sabu.
I don’t know what the license situation would be for retired 90’s Japanese guys (kobashi, Misawa, etc) but I’d love to see some of those mixed into the line.

The Japanese legends are going to be very expensive to license if you can even find a lead to contact one of them or their family.

Nice. I was afraid they wouldn't be to scale with the old hasbro's. Since they are, I may have to order 2 of each, one to keep MOC and the other to display loose, if the price is not too high.

This reminds me of that time Hayabusa was backstage at a WWE ppv and I got super excited thinking something might be in the works. Really I was just super tired of having to create him every year in the WWE games.

Funny to note that, on the Brody sketch, the artist apparently originally labeled him as “bruising Brody.”
They look to have used a different piece of paper for the title at the top of the page, but the artist’s original note can still be seen at the bottom of the page.
Also, I love that series one will have at least nine figures. I always think of hasbro sets having a good number of guys, so it’s cool that we’ll have cardbacks with 8-10 characters per wave.

With Ron Rudat designing them, and one of NECA's sculptors doing the sculpting I am definitely growing more excited about this line. With 7 other figures, that's Smart Mark, Indie Guy, RnR, Brody, Sabu and one more who's unannounced.

Aldis and Meanie were done by Chella, the New Japan ones like Jay White are done by NERDS Clothing. I can't find a tweet about ZSJ at all.

There isn’t, I think the other poster is mistaken, the only other figure by Chella other than the 3 you have mentioned is Ethan Page.

The nah white is designed by the same person who designed the ones for chellas which seems like a weird conflict of interest but it’s not any of our problems.

What kind of production run numbers are we talking, Broski? They've said that these will be made to order. So if 500 people buy, there'll be 500. If 10,000 buy, there'll be 10,000. Brody as designed by RON BLOODY RUDAT is THE action figure of this decade until further notice. I know it just started but still!

I don’t get Brody having soft goods. Doesn’t make sense to do that with these.
Sabu looks insane.

It is indeed, Tippy. He’s on the BBG Wrestling podcast within the next week.
