Typically no but there have been a few exceptions. KO-Mania 2 and 3 cuz I found them super cheap. Dallas and London Balor cuz I liked the serial killer theme of both. SvS AJ cuz it was $5 and my son didn’t want it. Ciampa cuz IDK.

just my favorite current guys, mostly top guys. I want a McIntyre, new Reigns, Keith Lee, Sheamus, Elias. Those are the only new figures that I'm getting. Might get the new Hardy depending on color scheme but most of my collection is pre 2010.

95% of my collection is legends, but I do have some of my favorite current wrestlers. Namely, every Demon Balor, a few Beckys, a couple AJs, Ember Moon, the NXT Asuka, a Daniel Bryan, and Bad News Barrett. Also an Elite 16 CM Punk (does 2014 really count as current?) with tattoo decals I keep on my entertainment center.
I also sometimes pick up current era looks for legends too, like the CE Undertaker (my favorite wrestler's 30th anniversary), which I kept MOC, 2 Legends 8 Warriors (the man's last night on Earth), and will be picking up E85 Taker, as WM36 wound up being his final match.

Nope. Never Anything from after 2000 has no place There is another! I too only collect anything pre-2001.
I dislike WWE's current product so much so that I haven't really been tempted to get anyone modern whatsoever outside of Luke Harper and Daniel Bryan and those were fleeting feelings.

I'm mostly Legends after just doing Ultimate Warrior for years, but I started watching WWE again after 15 years or more without watching wrestling at all, so since then I've decided to pick up many of the main roster men and women from when I started watching again.
I have most of them now, so only occasionally am I interested in someone "new" (Buddy Murphy was one cause I liked the red and the cruiserweight title).

I just buy what I like and what I can find for an acceptable price.
That just happens to not include anything past kinda 2002.

Nope. I haven’t consistently watched wrestling live since 2002, and don’t own anything depicting the time period after 1992. This doesn’t mean I can’t admire the incredible work Mattel and other companies put out there.

Not particularly.
I have purchased a small handful of figures over the past few months. Those we're all Legends, Flashbacks or exclusives that were older guys like the Target Exclusive Royal Rumble Austin & Warrior. I looked at a small selection of basics sitting on Walmart pegs today and it occurred to me that all of them had smiling headscans... Why?! I see current roster guys and have no idea who they are and I don't understand why everybody is smiling... WHY ARE THEY SO HAPPY?!!

I occasionally pick up current wrestlers if they are at a good price, and I often swap with other collectors for legends lol

Eh, not really. The only way that I'll buy an elite/basic of a current guy is if the fig is on clearance/from a discount store (such as Marshall's, for example), and someone that I really enjoy the work of, such as Styles or Owens.

How about the other way around?
I was tempted by the Billy Graham figure, but the guys an idiot. He wants everyone to be Roidy McGoo like he was. Or Hogan, can barely walk and is a racist.
But yeah, those new wrestlers are really garbage...

Anytime I buy a figure of anybody from the current roster I buy for parts to use for customs!
