Kane, although he holds all sorts of records he has never won and never changed his game plan. He exhausts all his energy to eliminate people and doesn’t save enough in the tank to seal the deal. You’d think in some of the later Rumble he would take a more passive approach and save energy.
Kofi, basically has gotten eliminated twice in a dozen Rumbles.
Who else should be considered the worst Rumble competitors of all time?

Titus O Neil. He was thrown out in 4 seconds in 2015 and 5 seconds in 2019. Also, tripped and slid headfirst under the ring in Greatest Royal Rumble.
Drew Carey.
Epico. Thrown out in 12 seconds by Mick Foley in 2012.
No Way Jose. Thrown out in 2 seconds in 2019 in his only Rumble appearance.

Warlord. A guy his size eliminated immediately in 89, thrown out 1 handed by Andre in 1990, drew 29 in 91 and was gone pretty quickly.
Terrible.

Kane doesn't even come close to being the worst Rumble competitor. He holds two records. 1) For the most eliminations and 2) For the most appearances.
He has also dominated during most of them so just because he hasn't won doesn't mean that he's the worst competitor.

Though, in the 4 rumbles he was in, he was eliminated by Hogan (1989/1991/1992), Andre (1990) and Sid (1992), not a bad list of guys to be eliminated by.

Warlord was my first thought. Andre was getting beaten by Warrior so quickly in 1989, Warlord should have been able to take him as well. I think if he and Barbarian had stayed face they would have had better showings at the Rumble.

I always found it funny when Heenan is saying there’s the beef right there just as the Warlord is eliminated and Monsoon quotes there goes the beef! The 92 Rumble will be getting another watch soon. I always took it that the Warlord was a big guy but nowhere near a top guy, so can job out in the Rumble while making his eliminator look impressive!

Worst maybe Scotty 2 Hotty due to his failure to make it to the ring on a few occassions. Or Tazz, purely due to how pathetic his 2001 performance was. buried with a capital B.

In a single Rumble Kane does not have the record anymore, but I believe for his career he still has more eliminations than anyone else.

It’s someone like Scotty 2 Hotty or Spike or Lana, people that never even made it into the match

Neither guy are the worst competitors for the RR IMHO. Both have entertained me over the years.

I’d argue that Kane is a top Royal Rumble competitor of all time. He was losing steam at the end of 98 so I would have given him the win at the 99 Rumble then have Vince screw him out of the Mania main event.

Bushwacker Luke.....he wacked his way in and immediately got whacked out. Saw him do this at a live indy show in 2016 lmao I was a vendor there and he was a guest, it was a big wrestling fest in the upper midwest. We were in the vendor/talent room and he was sitting beside me. he goes "mate do you mind if i work out here", im like of course not luke do whatever you want. He takes his shirt and pants off, just only in old man jockstrap underwear and starts doing resistance arm band exercises grunting "oh crapoh , hell yeah". im sitting there speechless and totally not expecting to see that I will remember it for the rest of my life that i saw a 70+ year old wwe hall of famer in his underwear working out backstage right beside me. I was laughing so hard on the inside. lol
