I have it loose. It’s a great figure. Best Akeem figure to date, and, next to Martel, one of the best of the early legends series.

Honestly, a couple things in general to note for this stuff.
An item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I once saw someone list a 2003 Shane O Mac jersey for 10K on ebay. It wasn't even signed, the only thing it had going was it was 15 years old, never worn. Did that even give me an INKLING that my 2003 Shane Jersey was worth 10k? No way, because nobody bought it. That same shirt was then marked down to 5k, 2.5k, then 1k and still nobody bought it. I think the guy eventually just gave up and took it off the site because he realized nobody was ever going to pay a thousand dollars for a Shane Jersey, even one that hadn't been made in 15 years.
If you want to get a good look at what something is worth, check sold listings. That should tell you what the figure is actually going for, then start looking for figures around that price.
Second, Mattel figures from when the series started are nearly universally going for insane amounts MOC these days. I'm not even joking when I tell you that, in 2001, 17 years after it released, a MOC Vince McMahon (McMann) LJN figure was only going for about 80 bucks (120 today's money). You look at Legends 1 Road Warriors MOC, released in 2010, you're looking easily at three bills. Now I'm horrible at math, but in my mind, that's a big difference in the secondary market value to years since release ratio. Of course, not all figures are like this, but in the case of figures that are one offs or will likely never be made again? Yeah, they're gonna be heckin pricey.
Just some thoughts, along with the following word of advice.
That Akeem figure is probably not going down in price any time soon. If you see him for around 100 bucks or so BIN? Go for it. Unless, of course, you want to be cheap like me and then realize 3 years later that now that figure you were too cheap to buy at 1.5x retail is now going for 5x retail.

It’s worth whatever MSRP was at the time 🤷🏻♂️

I think it likely often actually sells for less. But it is really just supply and demand given how old the figure is and that he never received another Mattel figure. He, Hillbilly Jim, Rick Martel, King Kong Bundy, and Kevin Von Erich are on my unofficial list of figures I want but still have not obtained since starting to collect Mattel WWE figures back around 2016. There are still MOC hillbilly Jim figures in Canada on Kijiji for like $30
