Hey,
I recently saw a new WWE nano metalfigs box set sell online featuring new wrestlers and legends such as Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Austin, Asuka, Miz, etc.... it was listed on OfferUp and eBay from the same seller in Florida. Box was dated 2020 so I’m thinking it’s coming out at retail soon?
It seemed to contain some of the original ones from the set released a few years back as well like Macho Man...
I can’t seem to find it anywhere else but that one auction however. Has anyone else saw it?

Not sure if it's what you're talking about, but I see one with current Stars as well as Sting. Apparently it was a Toys R Us exclusive.

I'll have to keep an eye out for it at retail. I was collecting the metalfigs pretty aggressively for a hot minute, but they seem to have disappeared from retail. They were a pretty cool and unique product, so nice to see them potentially making a comeback.

I don’t know how to post pictures but I have it saved if someone can I can email it to them.... the toys r us box set is the first one and this looks pretty close to it but with newer guys. Also for some reason the box says series 1 on it not sure why since the set came out well over 2 years ago

Are you talking about the mini figures that are metal and like an inch tall? If so, I saw them at Target this week.

Melt them down to their original metal form and sell it for scrap to try and recoup some of your money, would be my guess. |

Some look better than others. I don't have any of the WWE ones, because they didn't look great compared to the other nano metal lines. But they're fun little pieces to have on your desk at work or whatnot. I have a handful of the Batman and Harry Potter ones at the office.
Walmart and Target had the single figures for $1. Not a fan of buying 10 or 20 packs though, since there's usually only one or two I want.

Always have to have the haters.🙄 They are a very simple little thing for today to collect and enjoy which I do, 'so sue me'. lol...Anyway though, the only thing really hurting these was the globbed-on paint applications...The sculpts and details are usually really impressive. Especially with the DC and Marvel ones. I collected some of the Street Fighter and Disney ones too...they don't take up any room and were very cheap to collect when the individual one dollar and five dollar five packs were being sold-and no blind bags, major plus!! lol...Unfortunately it looks like the twenty dollar twenty box set is the only way they are keeping these going at retail-along with the ones packed with the die-cast car sets, but I'm just happy to still have them on store shelves. I thought they were done with WWE, so it was a really nice surprise seeing these pop-up along with the DC and Marvel box sets. There was only one left at Target yesterday that I got. |
