feeling some nostalgia tonight. Was thinking about wrestling magazines and how awesome they were
When my mom would go to the store I was right their campe dout in the magazine aisle reading, PWI, Inside Wrestling, WOW magazine(remember that?!)
Man I loved them so much
Thats where I first found out about ECW and would follow along
I LOVED the top 10 contenders list they would do
I truly do miss them. They were such a wonderful thingm and I wish I still had my old copies

I have a huge collection of the Apter magazines. They are awesome. They’re not worth a whole lot of money, but I wouldn’t part with them especially the signed ones.

I always picked up the PWI Year End Awards issue. Got my name printed in it a few times for the "Unofficial Awards" categories.

My dad used to work for a magazine company when I was a kid and used to get just about every wrestling magazine for us. I have no idea where they are now, but we had magazines going back to the old WCW magazine.

I LIVED for the wrestlin magazines at the store. Not much else excited more than getting to the store to see new stocked wrestling mags. so many others too like wrestliong scrapbook, wrestling eye, sports review wrestling, etc, etc.
the circle K by me let me camp out there as well as long as i wanted. they knew my parents would only buy me a few a month lol. then checking other stores and places to see what mags they had. i was also into martial arts and it was the same SOOOO many different ones back then. Ninja mags and eveything. Id spend hours there lookling thru them all. writing adresses & phone numbers to order tings from the mags. good times.
had to sell all my mags years ago when i was disabled/broke. that HURT!
but man, miss them good old days. and diggin my mags out to look at em every now & then.

I had all issues of PWI from 1996-2010, but had to throw them out when I moved a few years ago. I still have the PWI 500 issues except 2017? when Okada was #1 and last year's when Jon Moxley was #1.

When the pandemic started I was bored and filled time with eBay. Right now I’m about 15 issues shy of completing the 84-03 run of the original WWF magazine.

Absolutely loved wrestling mags.
Still got a collection of Superstars of Wrestling and Powerslam Magazines (uk). Especially in the early, pre internet days, such a great source of information. Bought the occasional PWI as well and loved how they covered the results of a lot of the independent feds. I would spend hours looking at where the old stars of WWF were wrestling.
I do miss those days.

I did the same thing, but only with the New Generation era.
So I picked up the complete 1993 - 1996 WWF Magazines, and the special magazines that were out during that time too. Including the WWF Raw magazines.

Oh man that takes me back...as a kid I remember my main outlet to what was happening outside WWF was PWI...I used to be so excited getting it & reading it. I also loved getting WCW magazine.
I remember the rankings etc in PWI and even as a kid thinking some of them were pretty crazy...LOL. US & IC champs always #1 after the champs....the AWA used to be a thing when I first started getting PWI.

Whenever I saw Piper, Snuka, Sting, Mr Woderful or the Road Warriors on the cover I would pick them up.

They make for great wall decorations too! This was my old house back in 2012. I had all these old Apter Magz so I put them on my walls in the hobby room. It looked cool!
