It’ll be fun watching about Warrior. Most likely won’t try to revise history like WWE has with Jim.

Not Darkside, but I just saw commercials for a couple other wrestler based shows. Reels has a show called Autopsy which will feature Macho Man this Sunday. Then on the 16th(?) A&E has an 8 part mini Series documentary which will start with Stone Cold but also feature Bret, HBK, Macho, Booker T and I forget who else they said. I watched it yesterday morning and leading up to it they had episodes for Benoit and Chyna. I set both to record but only the Benoit one recorded. Macho’s was OK but it really didn’t say anything we didn’t know. Except for maybe his diet where he was still consuming very high protein by eating a dozen eggs and two-three steaks a day even though he had been retired for 10 years.

Hopefully season 4 they cover that. They have to eventually cover that.

Dark side is one of the few reasons I have dish satellite anymore. The Owen episode was very good but it was hard to watch some people choke up while remembering how the accident happened. Herb was too much for his own good. It was destined to go down in a ball of flames for him unfortunately. I’m very curious to watch the Pillman, Dynamite and FMW episodes in particular, but I’m ready for season 3 and will watch them all

Here's part of the Pillman episode.
I feel sorry for his daughters.

I will have to watch this tonight but I really wonder if Brian had stuck to the clean cut Flyin Brian gimmick if his death would discussed like this today. He was pre Attitude Era before there was an Attitude Era and blurred the lines of real and kayfabe before anyone even thought about it. His sudden passing way too young should be talked about but if he had stayed Flyin Brian would it be as noteworthy?
I personally wish Bobby Heenan knocked him out and the Loose Cannon character never happened. I was a Flyin Brian fan. I hate seeing what he became as the Loose Cannon. Gimmicks sometimes were an extension of a person's real life so even discounting all he did in WWF during his last few months it's hard for me to like him and overlook how he purposely messed with Bobby Heenan I'm sure knowing he had a neck injury. If it had been anyone other than Bobby and Tony I think they would have fought back and the Loose Cannon gimmick would be dead before it even started and I don't think we would be talking about him today.

The times were changing and wrestlers had to change along with it. Smiling babyface Flyin Brian would not have worked in 1996 especially since he had success as a heel in the Hollywood Blonds and a Baywatch Brian face run was a flop.

I've edited my post because it was pretty negative. I greatly disliked the Loose Cannon gimmick but obviously that one made him the most famous he had ever been in such a short period of time so he was very successful. Him and Goldust in each company started the Attitude Era long before it was a thing so they both deserve credit for having the guts to break out of the wrestling comfort zone.
I went from greatly disliking Melanie to feeling bad for her in 12 hours. As someone who worked with drug addicts for several years I do feel bad for her even though I don't think she was a good person. Even if she is clean now, it's obvious drugs took control of her life and unless someone is truly evil they really don't deserve drug addiction's control and life ruining. I'm also guessing it's very possible that it all started with Brian's death.

I may have missed a comment but has anyone in the UK seen that vice channel has shut down on sky TV? I can't see any replacement or way to watch this in the UK now which is really disappointing. I've messaged dark sides Instagram but had no reply to find out more.

It was his car accident that made everything worse.

So at one point on Bischoff’s podcast he talked about doing interviews for this season and he mentioned a Scott Hall episode but obviously we aren’t getting one. Anyone hear anything? Scott Hall not want to participate?

It’ll be fun watching about Warrior. Most likely won’t try to revise history like WWE has with Jim. Revising history was what the Self Destruction dvd was. This will be trash as Warrior's first wife is the main person they interviewed. She tried to get famous after the divorce by publishing a book with all kinds of bs in it. They essentially admitted last week that they didn't interview anyone that liked him. A very fair and balanced piece...

Dude was a pretty awful person, and while over, was considered hard to work with by most. WWE treating him as this great humanitarian that warrants praise and an award in his honor is definitely revised history. Just because he made up with a lot of people in his final days doesn’t erase who he was.

Scott Hall not want to participate? Could one they put in the can. I know during season 1 they did interviews for the brawl for all even though that did not air till seasons 2.

Maybe they interviewed him so they didn’t have to again.
