 -I love both shirts, highlight of the crate for me. The Kenny one is somewhat plan, but it’s a cool illustration and I’ll never say no to an Omega shirt. The Candice shirt is one of my favorites. I’ve actually wanted to pick up one of her designs for a while, but wasn’t wild about any of her PWT or WWE designs. This one is miles better. -I like the the Flair Brawler a lot and is the specific look I would have wanted (and is why I didn’t pick up any of the others they to on sale), but the caveat here is I’m not a huge Flair guy. If I were, or had a bought one of the main Flairs, I might be annoyed. -Being a huge Gargano mark, I really love the pin. It’s the type of logo I prefer vs something like last month’s bland Bulldog one (for example) -Love the Hammer bottle opener. Usually I’m not bog on the novelty items, but I’m a sucker for a good bottle opener and the Hammer design is amusing. -While not from my favorite ROH era, I’ll gladly add another dvd to my collection over another comic. -The Brittsburgh sticker is pretty cool. Like that it’s hockey themed. -The Tyler Breeze auto is probably the least interesting piece to me, but that’s more because of my general meh feeling on autographs than any animus towards Tyler Breeze. This is an interesting crate for me. Outside of maybe the Candice shirt, there’s no single item here that I would describe as one of my favorite individual items of the year. However, at the same time it might be the overall strongest Crate of the year in that there was nothing I actively disliked or didn’t want. |

Agreed the comics gotta go, I like comic books but plain and simple they are bad comic books. |

Any educated guesses on who the next Brawler will be? Foley? Halloween Havoc Savage or a Sting variant would be my most likely guesses given the Crate lineups over the last year availability, and multitude of possible Halloween attires. Foley fits in name-wise, but considering he signed a new Legends deal, I'm not sure where that leaves him. As for the others, while possible, they all have strikes against them: Warlord fitsthe line given the way they've handled it over the last year, but he just had a single release Brawler released. Danhaussen has had multiple Brawlers released, and both he and Abadon seem like they'd be much more likely for an AEW Crate given the way PWTees has handled Brawlers for both of those lineups over the past year. I could see ICP Brawlers being a thing eventually, but I'd think a double-pack wide release is more likely. These are all just guesses though. |

But I'm really hoping those see the light of day eventually. |

Opened up my AEW crate, and while it’s not my least favorite crate I’m not terribly excited by it either. I like the sounds of a Young Bucks shirt, but the design doesn’t really appeal to me. Samoa Joe shirt, it’s fine, and while I like Joe I don’t have a need for a shirt of his. That said, I’m sure I’ll wear them around the house at least. My girlfriend doesn’t like Joe so I could have a little fun in that regard.
Sammy brawler is cool, so I’m happy with that. FTR pin is cool. JAS patch is fine. HOOK chip bag clip, I like it for the LOLs, will probably use it. The Halloween themed Darby drawstring bag is a cool little item. A bit small and thin, but probably expected for a crate product. I will definitely give it a try next time I go to Six Flags. Finally the autograph, Abadon. I’m pleased with that. I like her, wish we could see more of her on TV.
OK crate overall, definitely hoping I will like the next one more.

I used to get emails announcing the boxes, sell out warnings when close etc but haven’t for a few months. Have they stopped promoting them so much or are they just selling out much quicker now not needing a push for the last few?

 -I adore both of these shirts. Both nail down that aesthetic of combining wrestling and pop culture in a fun way that I love. I will say the Foley/Chainsaw Massacre one is a bit more Halloween-wear while Sting/Robocop is just fantastic. -I like the Frankenhausen, but I can understand why others don't. -The Macho ball is a cool little addition to that collection but nothing groundbreaking. -ICP pin is whatever. -The comic is the comic. -I have a weird affinity for that era of Warlord because my mom bought me home that Hasbro as a surprise when she was on a business trip when I was a kid, so the auto is cool. Fine for a Halloween crate, but the non-shirt/Brawler items were lacking. |

EZ's shirt designs are fantastic, and I've been wanting that Sting / Robocop design in my size (and in black) for years.

 Way late on this review partially because of Thanksgiving and etc. and partially because this crate was pretty underwhelming to me personally. -I like the throwback style of The Acclaimed shirt, but it’s still not something I see myself wearing often. -I should love the Hall shirt. I’m a big fan of purple, I’m a big fan of Razor, yet something abut it just doesn’t click for me. -I’m sure the Jarrett Brawler is the highlight of the Crate for many, and objectively it is the “best” item here. Highly detailed and well-executed. That said, my personal issue of “not having given a *BLEEP* about Jeff Jarrett for the last 30 year” probably diminishes my appreciation of it. -Both the sticker and the comic are whatever. -I like the Mox pin, but I feel like we got a VERY similar Mox pin in the not-too-distant past didn’t we? -The Elite keychain is my personal favorite item in the crate. Love the design and having all three of them combined into one sculpt. That said, I can’t help but wish the Elite item was something more like a shirt since they haven’t been in the PWC as a trio in a while. -The OMG auto is cool, and I do like the drawing he does. So yeah, for me this was loretty lackluster month. Hopefully December lives up to its usual solid end of year standards. |
