The reason I ask is that all three guys were pretty brazenly wearing BC logos on their gear at Hard to Kill. Surely Impact had no right to feature anything BC related; even AEW referred to them as The Elite instead when they had their match on Wednesday.
Does anyone know how they were able to feature the BC stuff last night?

Pretty sure that New Japan owns the rights to Bullet Club. Some kind of deal had to be done between New Japan and Khan, because I don't think they'd be stupid enough to just use it, and risk New Japan coming after them.

New Japan has had ties to impact in the past, plenty of guys have wrestled on impact shows in the past. So not an unheard of crossover. But I actually have no idea what restrictions would exist in terms of wearing the clothing. I expect this is part of a bigger story and that arrangements were made with new Japan. Arrangement would have come through impact though, not Khan. They didn't wear bullet club on aew.

Yeah, but with Omega being one of the guys, and this being part of a joint Impact/AEW deal, I could easily see New Japan going after AEW if they didn't get permission to use their property.

Again though, AEW didn't use it, Impact did. Yeah Kenny is contracted to AEW, but it wasn't an AEW show or even a joint show like Supercard of Honor, so there's nothing to go after Khan for. "Your wrestler used my logo" "Was it on my show?" "Well, no" "So talk to those guys then". Regardless, the worst they would get would probably just be a little cease and desist letter, which would be an instant storyline.
That said I'm guessing they did clear it first. Kenta & Jay White both live in Florida iirc, and neither are advertised for any shows in Japan for Jan/Feb (Unless I missed Kenta somewhere). Likewise the youngest Tongan Hikuleo is doing New Japan strong, so there is some bullet club presence in America right now theoretically. GoD are still in Japan though, they're advertised for shows in February. Nothing in Jan though, so if they only have to quarantine 1 way they could maybe do a set of impact tapings and fly back. Who knows. We'll see I guess. Meij leaving opened some doors in terms of collaborations with AEW, and NJPW/Impact have prior history. NJPW is on the verge of announcing a new American TV deal as well, news should be breaking anytime now.

I know this is extremely tenuous, but do we think this could be an indication of NJPW collaboration on this "The Collector" gimmick Kenny's doing? Could that be where he and Don turn up next with the AEW belt?

Given travel restrictions being to tight still, Omega won't be in Japan for a while. When he does, it's more likely he goes to DDT and wins the title. I'd love to see Ibushi/Omega. Maybe more than anyone else in these boards. That's a story that might be a ways off. I'd be shocked if it happened before WK 2022.

Can they do anything? Did they mention it on commentary or draw attention to it? Did they list it as merchandise. I don’t think they did. Like how a lot of WWE guys wear Marvel themed outfits, or wear t-shirts that later cannot be made into figures. I think you can wear whatever, as long as you don’t say it and don’t promote it in anyway. Wink wink type of thing.
