This is why we can't have nice things lol
At any rate, Priscilla and elayna have their match on 205 live today. Guessing we won't see them on actual NXT tv for a while since they're obviously losing today and they aren't airing this match on nxt

Why can’t you watch NXT to see her? Lol Because I refuse to watch any WWE crap product, until they change and start caring about putting on ENTERTANING shows. I mean literally Smackdown, NXT and NXT UK are all great most weeks. Raw not so much, and 205 while being non crucial most weeks still features great wrestlers having good to great matches. Why would anyone avoid watching great wrestling if you are a fan is beyond me. I watch it all, as much as I can take in. These shows, AEW, MLW, Impact, GCW, ICW, New Japan when I can.

I'm not saying i don't have my favorites and watch some more than others, but I'm not restricting myself on some kind of weird battle ground. Especially when almost every single wrestler in these companies are supportive of each other.

At a certain point, WWE will have to take inventory of all the people they have at the performance center. If the PC was actually successful, NXT and the main roster would be filled with athletes turned wrestlers. Instead, they're signing anyone with any indy credit. Hoarding talent like this is really bad for wrestling as a whole.

Flair, Reigns, Wyatt, Strowman, Benjamin, Lashley, Mace, Omos, Bliss, Jax, Naomi, Brooke, Rose, Big E, Belair, I think both Street Profits and both Usos (?), Gable, Ziggler, Corbin, DeVille, Morgan and Carmella are all current main roster talents who came to WWE from college or other disciplines, with little to no indie wrestling experience. Some of those have been around long enough that they predate the PC, but either way it’s a pretty staggering list. Then there are all the indie wrestlers who went through developmental at the PC to improve their game before the big leagues - which covers pretty much everyone signed in the last seven years except Styles, Nakamura, Balor and maybe Adam Cole and Bobby Roode. Hopefully they’ll do another big round of cuts soon.

Hoarding talent like this is really bad for wrestling as a whole. It’s smart on WWEs part to have wrestlers trained and ready in the event should something happen to anyone on tv. They are learning from situations in the past where many workers get injured at once. Plus we are in a pandemic and mass groups can easily be infected and may need to be kept off tv. You never know what will happen so it’s good to have plenty of open options. And it’s not like AEW or any other company hasn’t signed more talent than they actually use. Might as well sign up who you can when live indie shows for the most part are at a stand still.

That’s the funny thing with WWE and certain fans - they’re not allowed to sign talent, they’re not allowed to release talent, and they’re not allowed to hold on to the talent they already have. 😂

It's really no different than the way any professional sports team operates. There's a reason drafts run as deep as they do. Sometimes those first round picks are a bust, and you get some sleeper hits late in the draft.
The tough part for the wrestlers is that when they're in the PC not on tv they can't really pad their resumes for when they get released, compared to draft picks still playing in the minors/Europe, etc. (Ok so I went straight to the hockey example. I'm Canadian). That's what NXT used to be, but they are almost in need of a new lower tier now for those late round picks, etc.
Tl;dr: nothing wrong with having lots of talent, but the lowest tier needs a way to practice in public.

There supposedly was a plan to have another NXT brand on the network that would the lower tier talent not on USA NXT, but the pandemic put those plans on ice.

Hopefully they’ll do another big round of cuts soon. Like half the people you named are outright bad wrestlers. You’re kinda missing my point. If the PC is so good at making stars, why are they signing as many indie wrestlers as possible? If the people they’re paying 20-30k a year just to train were any good, they wouldn’t need to sign people up. Signing people just to sign them is whatever, they have enough expendable money to justify it. It’s undeniably bad for wrestling as a whole if they’re hoarding top tier talent and do absolutely nothing with them. Good for WWE for paying so many people for almost no reason than spite for their competition. They’re providing jobs during a pandemic. Until, you know...they cut people.

If the PC is so good at making stars, why are they signing as many indie wrestlers as possible? To turn them into stars. It’s not that deep. WWE is number one wrestling company in the world, and has a lot of hours of TV to fill for years to come. Of course they’re going to sign people at various levels of experience, from the ready-now like AJ, to the still-needs-work like Zayn and Owens, to the never-done-it-but-has-potential like Gable and Big E.

Well Blake Christian may have signed somewhere. He just put his indie career on the line to get a GCW title match with RSP as the main event to this 24 hour show.

I was pretty confident he was ending up with an impact deal, which would leave him free to do Indies still. I suppose he could still win that match if it hasn't finished yet.

Oh yea he def could win the title, they have been building up someone finally beating RSP for over a year now wasn’t sure they would do it as a mid show storyline on a free show
