Well Blake Christian may have signed somewhere. He just put his indie career on the line to get a GCW title match with RSP as the main event to this 24 hour show. His girlfriend just signed with WWE (Cora Jade) so it wouldn’t surprise me if we hear he’s headed that way too I feel like Blake is much better suited for aew. Likewise Cora/Elayna better suited for WWE. Not that it would necessarily stop him from signing with WWE, just not where I'd see him as successful. To be totally honest I think impact would be the best place for him right now |

Well, I guess we're getting Blake Christian in NXT. That's a little dissapointing. I shouldn't be surprised though, with both Zayne and Black signing.

Well, I guess we're getting Blake Christian in NXT. That's a little dissapointing. I shouldn't be surprised though, with both Zayne and Black signing. He gave a great goodbye speech and one of the other wrestlers yelled go get that money! I heard that lol. It's obvious where he's going. No other place would require him to stop doing GCW. Maybe he'll pair up with Zayne for a sick tag team, but I just have a hard time seeing Christian stand out in NXT right now. |

As with most guys I have absolutely no doubt he will be a star in NXT....as with everyone we will see after that. |

I thought he would end up in Impact but I'm happy for him if he is headed to NXT.

Haven't seen it posted anywhere but in addition to those names and Saree finally coming to the US it appears as though Angela Arnold, AQA, has also been signed. She is an extremely underrated talent who has worked for Booker T's promotion for a while and I always thought she was great.  At this point the only female wrestler I really wish WWE would pick up that isn't going to happen is Thunder Rosa. |

Haven't seen it posted anywhere but in addition to those names and Saree finally coming to the US it appears as though Angela Arnold, AQA, has also been signed. She is an extremely underrated talent who has worked for Booker T's promotion for a while and I always thought she was great. At this point the only female wrestler I really wish WWE would pick up that isn't going to happen is Thunder Rosa. Good call, I totally missed that one. Don't know how, Meltzer definitely wrote about it in the newsletter looking back. Oops. That's a pretty gnarly looking SSP, she seems really athletic. I haven't really seen her wrestle before but seems like a good pickup. And yeah, Thunder Rosa is 100% AEW bound when her NWA contract expires. WWE was never really an option for her. She still wants to pursue MMA, and is running her own women's only promotion (Shameless plug for Mission Pro Wrestling, lots of great female talent there), which she has no intention of stopping. Much better fit for her in Jacksonville. |

Yeah I mean the great part about Angela is she is similar to Bayley and Sasha were she proved to be a good talent on the indies but didn't really grow out into a huge star yet so that is always exciting... I would say Zoey Stark is that way as well. Thunder Rosa apparently was offered a referee role I believe with WWE a while back but chose against it. I think her biggest problem is that she got great at an older age so by the time WWE prob missed the mark on her she already has a trajectory of what she wants to do in her head and I don't blame her. I think AEW should build their division around her as she has the look, moves, character etc. |
