He never wore this attire when he had long hair. I know that, this is his 2001/2002 WWF attire and he cut his hair in '99 while he was still in WCW. But I want to put a different part on an action figure, get the f*ck of my back about it accuracy police. Just letting you know dude...Chill out. |

Yeah it was confirmed the day of SDCC he'd have a soft goods jacket. If he had a sculpted jacket and swappable arms, it'd be there on the render like with Edge or UE7 Fiend. The jacket has also been posted in IG. It looks really, really good. Sorry to jump in so late, but any chance you have a picture of this? Thanks! |

I mean Cena is a bigger legend than anyone else in the series, and the look is fine. Would have been cooler to get something more iconic though. Vader was in Boy Meets World. So yeah. Bet you feel a bit silly now. John Cena is Dom’s brother in the new Fast And Furious. He’s literally family. |

Can anyone tell me when the wwf changed the tag belts from silver to gold? I'm wondering which teams held silver vs gold in that era. I believe these belts were only around from 1985-1988. The only teams I remember wearing silver tag belts were The US Express, the Dream Team, the British Bulldogs, the Hart Foundation, and Demolition (for a short time) before they went to gold in 1988. |

Cena being in the line is fine. Any kind of 05-07 Cenas would be a welcome addition. But this was clearly a last minute addition to this series. I wonder why they cancelled the (alleged) Hogan.

Now that I think about it I wish they woulda made the Cena a 2006 attire with the gear he wore vs RVD on ECW. Still hoping they make one one day.

My thoughts
The AWESOME
Rhea is everything I could have ever hoped for. She's gonna be a preorder when she comes up, most likely. I need her figure.
Zelina is stunning, and I'm thrilled we're still getting her, but her status as a Target exclusive worries me. I really really want this figure, but it's a matter of how much am I willing to pay for it on secondary, seeing as how I have no access to a Target. Awesome figure, hope that I can afford the scalper's fee.
That Legends Vader is probably the first figure in the renewed line that I'm totally into. Like Zelina, I know I probably won't be able to get him, but if I could get my hands on one, I would buy it.
The MOTWWEU Stephanie is wonderful. I can't believe I had doubts about her inclusion in this line. Now I need to get ahold of Becky so they can face off.
The Good
That is hands down the best Sheamus we've ever gotten. I hope to find him at retail.
That John Cena legend has my attention. I low-key want to get it, but again, doubt I will be able to get my hands on one. The addition of the Vince puppet is funny but... odd. I get why he's there but you'd think they'd give us Huskus, since he's the one we don't have yet. Maybe they're still planning on that Wyatt Gym figure.
Sheesh, how fast did they rush that Ro figure? Was this Roman already planned and they just altered it for his new look? I have to wonder. Also, between the Cena and the Roman figure, getting two hybrid figures in one reveal is nifty. I do want this Roman, but I'm not totally sold on either of the heads. They just seem... off to me. I don't know why, they look just like him. But something doesn't quite sit right. Still might buy him anyway.
When I saw the Jeff figure, my very first thought was "NO TANK TOP MOLD!!!!" That there makes this the best Jeff we've gotten in AGES. Not liking the chase though. That eye thing is weird. But the regular one looks great.
The DDP looks good but the size of the earpiece is throwing me. I wonder if I could buy the figure and customize it without the earpiece. At least this DDP has a decent head that looks like him. And the detail work on that jacket is lovely.
The Giant head is exactly what I had hoped for. Now I have to track one down just for that head. Actually, I might keep the figure as well and just find a way to get ahold of custom clothing for him. The main reason I want him is for a Debut Paul Wight figure. I wonder if I can make one from that Showdown figure.
I like that MOTWWEU Kane figure. A lot. If I was more into the line, I'd def get him.
The Bad
That... does not look like Ric Flair.
Also, I see we've returned to the craptastic Edge sculpts. Bleck.
Did we really need another MOTWWEU Warrior figure? As niche as this line is, why are they repeating figures??
Disciple Murphy is terribly underwhelming. It's not an objectively bad figure, mind you. It's just very very MEH
That's the second re-released Fiend we've gotten. That sure burned itself out fast.
All in all, great reveals today. Between Elite 84 and that Legends line, I'm crying for my damn wallet. With no Target in reasonable driving distance, I have ZERO access to Zelina or any of the Legends figures at retail, and as we all know, the online ordering is either worthless (from Target) or you're paying scalpers prices (elsewhere). This is one instance where I forsee myself screaming about the unfairness of Exclusives because, now, it really hurts.

It'd be great if WWE would allow Mattel to freely sign legends again and if Mattel would put forth an effort to get the big names we're missing but sadly, I don't think those days are ever coming back. Best we can hope for is WWE gets everyone back in the farm that they can or Jazwares starts scooping names up. Who are these big names you’re speaking of? The closest thing I can think of to big names that don’t have a toy in the WWE Mattel line are Owen Hart (which won’t happen), Jeff Jarrett (which can’t happen, but as soon as legally available probably will), and Scott Steiner (which seems unlikely but vaguely possible). And it’s questionable to call any of those big names. Who are you expecting to be included as a headliner for a Legends series that hasn’t had a figure yet? They’ve done every WWE Champion since the company went national, every World champion except Benoit, every Rumble winner except Benoit, every (televised) King of the Ring winner except Owen, every WCW champion except Benoit, Steiner, Jarrett, Russo and Arquette. People complain that there aren’t enough new big names in the line, but that’s because there aren’t any left to do. |

Man a lot of great stuff, the entire elite 84 looks just tremendous. Both of those Roman scans are spot on. Masked Vader looks great and the same person that leaked that leaked that it was Mania 8 Hogan so I wonder why Cena replaced him. Total speculation here, but maybe they decided it was more financially strategic to make the next red and yellow Hogan an ultimate release. I love you. |
