How do you manage to make a ladder match and an exploding deathmatch boring?
As for the finale...

Imagine being so upset because you couldn’t watch broke neck Brandon Lee wrestle a real match in his 50s. Literally everyone has known it would be cinematic.Where was that advertised?

Sting already took a power bomb from Brian Cage did he not? I don't care if he had padding or not. Taking one bump and working a match are two different things completely. His old ass shouldn’t be working real matches and shouldn’t be going over young talent in the first place.

How do you survive a near-fatal blood clot, only to be negative about a single individual action? I don't understand it. Sure, you may not like it, but this dude (TK), by all accounts, actually treats his employees like human beings. Far from a PoS. I'm not trying to blindly defend a rich dude, or anything, but I would much rather experience this than knowing all of the money I spent in the 90s went to people who, by all accounts, were not very good people. The troll is just upset TK didn’t put a 60 year old Sting with serious health issues in an actual match. This was the best option for Sting and really should be the only way they utilize him in matches. Anything outside of cinematic matches and it’s a huge risk. I have a different opinion so I'm a troll......................................

Well, I'm exhausted. Itoh-chan made the entire night worthwhile all on her own. Can't wait to see the cutest in the world again on Wednesday. Hopefully she's around for a little while given it's a full 2 week quarantine when she goes back to Japan. I find it weird they were so quick to put out graphics for Page & Christian but nothing for Mizunami. Seems like a lot of trouble to bring her here if she isn't staying long term, but who knows!
Well, it was fun y'all. If it wasn't for a few of you I'd just be off the internet for wrestling. Sometimes I think I (and everyone) forget that the majority of the people watching are not on forums or twitter talking about it. That's a very small subsection of the audience. I.e. positive or negative, can't really read much into twitter reactions, because it's such a small vocal percentage either way. Someone on reddit did a month where they stayed off the internet completely for wrestling, and they seemed to find everything so much more enjoyable. Funny how that worked haha. Maybe someday internets, maybe someday.

The cinematic Street Fight still managed to be the 2nd best match on the card, somehow.
A 61 year old Sting with a neck held together by bubblegum and paperclips should not be taking any actual bumps anyway.

Because he's upfront with them. Honest. That goes a long way. So if he's planning on having a cinematic match on his PPV that he's charging $49.99 for, don't you think it would be nice if he was honest and upfront with his customers about what he'll be airing? Wouldn't that be the honest thing to do? If people like and respect him for being honest, what are they supposed to think when he's not? I can't really disagree with that in general. I don't think it would have been difficult to say it was a pre-taped match. I can understand wanting to maybe stray from the word cinematic, but it isn't difficult to say it's pre-taped. Personally I was expecting a pre-taped match, and had also heard quite a few rumours that it was, so I went in fully expecting what I got. As it is, pre-taped matches have been really hit or miss for me, but I quite enjoyed this one. I can't argue with the idea that transparency on it would be a good plan going forward though, especially knowing that pre-taped matches can be a little polarizing. Haha. We've gone back and forth on cinematic matches before. You definitely know I've never been in favour of them. I assumed the match would start out in the ring live and then spill towards the back where they would cut to a pre-taped feed. I expected the feed to a "wrestling street fight" though. Backstage hitting each other with sh*t. I figured it would be taped to cover up anything that looks bad. I'd be okay with that. It's still a classic style "street fight." You can still keep Sting safe in that situation. Live or taped is irrelevant there. The movie thing though, argh. No.

How the hell did the audience or the commentators not realize that was Christians theme? They are taking the “nobody watches TNA” jokes to the next level.

Actually AEW announced that Britt Baker and Big Swole's "Tooth and Nail match" was going to be a cinematic match. I appreciated it when Tony Khan told me back then. I thought that would be his standard. I guess I was wrong. You done trying to defend him now?

Not saying “this will be a cinematic match” when it was pretty much common sense, is not one of them. Plus the majority loved the match. You’re pretty much the only one throwing a fit. You’ll be fine.

Can we all just thank the wrestling gods that we don’t have to worry about Kurt crippling himself?

I can imagine one out they could have given themselves was that Omega/Callis planned the troll "explosion" to make Moxley look a fool for bracing himself for it. That the ring was NEVER MEANT to literally explode, mock the deathmatch roots Jon came from and the fans for expecting it.
Killed that possibility with Jon and Eddie selling that.

I've been straight forward from the beginning while you're jumping through hoops trying to defend Tony Khan's decision not to announce this. You even tried to lie for him. And then you say I'm the one throwing a fit? Haha. Oooookay.

So, what do we think? Will Hardy and Christian team up or feud?
