Really don't understand the bitching from people about so many Cody Rhodes figures being made ? He's clearly the face of AEW and one of the biggest stars.Its a no brainer that a ton of figures are going to be made for him along with the likes of the Young Bucks,Omega,Jericho,Moxley,Page,Allin...ect sorry but their a toy company trying to make money.Their not going to flood the market with the likes of Chuck,Trent,Dark Order,Sabin...ect
This is the exact samething Mattel has done over the years with Cena,Orton,Batista,Triple H,Rock,Undertaker,Rey,Reigns....ect you make a crapof of your top stars because their proven sellers and can achor a series.

I don't think it's a controversy, just obnoxious -- and that it's being done to kiss his ass. He's nowhere near a level of Hogan or Austin -- even in that company -- and if he weren't an owner of the company, I wouldn't have an issue with it.
If they made 5 Hogans, Cenas, Austins -- or even lesser guys -- I'd just think they're doing it because it's best for business with no ulterior motives. I just don't think that with Cody.

He's probably getting as many figures as he is because he's one of three mainstream names the company has (Jericho and Moxley are the other two) and he's been prominently featured on TV as one of the top two babyfaces since the company started. He was also consistently getting the loudest reaction at their TV tapings. I mean...AJ Styles got a lot of figures in the Marvel TNA line and nobody complained and he was basically in the same position on the card as Cody. Cody's basically in the #2 babyface spot that Sting was in 1998, and Sting got a lot of figures in the WCW line too...and I don't want to hear "he's nowhere near as big a star as Sting in 1998" because  ing nobody is now and never will be again. Wrestling's not at that level of popularity anymore. Everything is relative.
Your personal amusement in defending Cody is actually getting really funny. I'm sure he's a guy who couldn't give 2 shits about you if you actually met him, aside from you giving him your money, but I'll let it go at this point.

The fact that a reply like this usually means someone is conceding their entire argument sucks notwithstanding, your exact post can be applied to Hogan and Austin as it relates to you, dog. It's not even defending him, or any of the other guys who've gotten remakes, this sh*t has been commonplace in wrestling figure lines for the past 30 years. If you're mad about this many figures of Cody, I wanna see some complaining about how many AJs that Toybiz put out or how many Shelton and Randy Orton figures dropped from 04-06 or how Jakks spammed Rock, Austin and Taker in 2001 or Hasbro releasing the big three in the first three series. It's all the same no matter how you wanna look at it, but sure I'm just defending Cody. Shut up bro. |

Did you people remember him when he gave the interview after he lost his job in a match with Randy Orton, he said every single thing right, now he is a star not a stupid stardust, he has struggled and reached to top of the ladder, what's wrong if he gets so many figures, he deserves it.

Why are people hating on Cody getting figures 😂. They are obviously doing really well. Blood bros sold out, this one on back order 2, he's serious 4 is pretty order 7 more than the rest of the wave. Everyone in the US that collects aew wants that UK Cody. 😂 his figures are 🔥 right now. I only have the blood bros and series 1 but do have his TNT exclusive on order.

The problem for some people is that because he’s an EVP for AEW, there’s some that feel he didn’t ‘earn it’ and is only a ‘main eventer’ because he’s booking himself as one. I don’t agree with that. He totally deserves it and earned his spot. He should have been a bigger star in WWE but we all know what happened there |

I could be wrong but after looking closely picture wise this new figure seems slightly bulkier then previous ones. Could just be wishful thinking though.
