I love how certain wrestlers used their gimmicks to their advantage (I feel certain modern day wrestlers need gimmicks) or it helped elevate others who weren't good on the mic or wrestling, but...
Which wrestling gimmicks are you not interested in seeing in figure form?

Honestly there’s not many I’m not interested in. I really like the new generation in figure form as it provides shelves full of different shapes, sizes and colors. Anything after Ruthless aggression era doesn’t really interest me as a flashback collector though.

I'm more interested in gimmicks than non gimmicks. There were so many bland looks in the 2000s that were the opposite of toyetic. Jakks churned out so many figures of guys in bland trunks. I would much rather have a gimmick if it makes for an interesting looking toy.

That's one of my issues with current wrestling: all names like John Smith or Joe Johnson with black trunks or tights and black boots and sometimes a black top of some kind. Like every current guy has to be more "real" than the last. And heaven help me if they have a supposed-MMA background. Which brings me to gimmicks I have no interest in: MMA. Brock is about the only one I'm okay with (and Ken Shamrock). For anyone else, it's a cheap way to "legitimize" them (Shayna, Ronda, Riddle) because they know many wrestling fans treat MMA like a step up, for some reason I don't understand. |

Never liked Luke Harper gimmick but Brodie Lee and Dark order thing was a good gimmick.
