A grown woman acting and dressing like an evil possessed child and grown men being turned on by it is some weird sh**. That said, I seriously think work wise, Cross would have been such a better option for this character. Not a fan at all what they’ve done with her since the main roster. She played evil and crazy so well in NXT.
I think the point is that Edge is older and more out of his element. They want you to question if he is going to be able to keep up with the champion come Wrestlemania.
Priest is going to get a Wrestlemania program teaming with one of the most popular current rappers against Miz and Morrison and that’s a pretty big rocket to strap to him. Good for him.
Lashley has been built like a beast and honestly hoping it leads to bigger things for him. Hope he keeps the belt and defends against Lee at Wrestlemania.
Carlito and Jeff make a random pairing. Could see Carlito turning and them having a solid Raw feud.
Guessing they aren’t going to tease Bianca deciding who to face?
Ric with MAGA Lacey does nothing for me. Hopefully the feud ends by the Chamber ppv. I forgot Naomi is on Raw and wish she was still on Smackdown to work with that division. Such an odd match.
New Day vs Retribution makes sense, I just wish Retribution were built stronger from the beginning. The eventual Kofi vs Ali match should slap.

I'm sorry but Bray Wyatt is the worst thing mainstream wrestling. Every angle he touches turns to crap and usually produces bad matches. You just summed up like 90% of Raw. |

As soon as Edge won the Rumble, I just knew they would do Edge vs Orton on Raw the next night, with the Fiend having some sort of interference. I'm guessing it makes sense to string out Edge's Wrestlemania choice for a few weeks since they don't really have much else going on, but I do think he's facing Roman. Drew will face Sheamus at both Elimination Chamber and Fastlane, and then they'll lock in Drew McIntyre vs John Cena at Wrestlemania.

Its really nice having Carlito back,hopefully he sticks around for a while. A nice little feud with Hardy could be fun.
I never really thought about it before last night but I don't think I would hate it if Lashley kicks MVP to the curb and he starts managing Riddle.
I'm hoping that was it for Edge and Orton,it was fun at the beginning but I've seen it enough now to last awhile. I rather see Edge/Roman at Mania but heel Edge against Drew sounds better to me after last night then before.
Man I wish Sheamus would keep that attire all the time. I thought Lee was gonna be the one that turned on Drew since it was obvious they was hinting at Sheamus doing it so I was a little surprised at it happening like this this quick. Sheamus/Drew should be a good month feud until they set up Drew's Mania opponent.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he is back, they have tried to bring him back seemingly two or three times, and if it wasn’t for his demons I don’t think he would have ever even left.

Sounds like Edge will announce he is facing Roman sooner rather than later. We may be getting Edge and Christian vs Roman and Jey USO at one of the next PPVs. That sounds great,would love to see Christian one or two more times at least. Wonder where this leaves Drew for Mania? I know some people thinks its Cena but that doesn't seem likely with his movie or whatever he's involved in and Orton and Bray will most likely finish up at Mania. He should be done with Sheamus by then and Miz seems like he's entering something with the rapper and Priest. That really only leaves Lee,AJ or Braun, I think the last couple months makes it look like Drew and Lee would be the most logical match. |

I personally love what they're doing with Alexa Bliss, who was already one of my favorite wrestlers. The menacing fake innocence is genuinely creepy, even on it's own. Whereas the Firefly Funhouse is just stupid as degrades the Fiend character, the creepy playground set works. Rather than coming across forced or stupid, like Bray during his non-fiend moments, it makes her seem unhinged and broken, even when she's smiling. She is "childish" in the way of cruel sociopathic bullies who torture animals. There is menace to it. Then when you add in the "possession" moments and change of character on a dime, including now physical changes, it makes her seem more supernatural than they ever did with the fiend. And with the idea that normal Alexa is trapped in there...that's what I would have done with the Fiend to begin with. I love the Edge storyline too (that I just had Edge be number one and make it ALMOST to the end in my fantasy booking makes me smile) I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy. I'm just the guy who deserves to hold the belt one last time...nice! Having him finally beat Orton due to Alexa took the two best things they have going on Raw right now and combined them. Of course, I was truly hoping that they'd have Christian and the Hurricane on Raw after their surprise returns, but the show couldn't have everything. I'm not surprised Bianca got no play. Both women's champions are faces, and she's been pushed hard as a face. While it was awesome to see her get the push...they have to remove the belt from someone to get a good Mania match out of it. Rhea Ripley might have been a better choice. Or Kacy Catanzaro...now that they're pushing her finally. |

I think the Alexa Bliss stuff is great. It’s weird, it’s different, it’s edgy, it generates a buzz among the fans. She plays her role perfectly. The people who say that Nikki Cross would have fitted the persona much better don’t understand the dynamics of it all I guess. But what do I know ha? I’m just some random dude on the interwebs.
It reminds me of the whole Broken Matt Hardy discussion, and look what he achieved! Without him going batsh*t crazy we would NOT have the level of cinematic matches and the possibilities of knowing how to pull something off that is really corny and still very entertaining, just because it’s different.
If you prefer watching two big muscular dudes in speedos wrassle you can watch Batista and Triple H on the Network and if you prefer small skinny dudes flipping all over the place you can watch AEW or NJPW.
I feel like some of you forget how spoiled we are as fans at the moment. There is so much content that you can cherry pick from what you like...
