some of those scans look goofy as hell

-edge screaming
-taker (im mixed, its like hes looking down and has old man jowls, but it looks good sort of)
however some are really good
-normal edge
-throwback orton
-liv
-becky (possibly her best scan, i always feel they never get her just right)
-HHH and Hardy 2 pack is great! i need to see better pics of hardys head...they always mess up the throwback figures of him...that taker/hardy 2 pack was absolute garbage.

If they're doing double jointed arms, I'd rather them be pin-less. Some of the Ultimate elbows bother me. Like on HBK. I swapped mine to single joint and I like it better.

I wasn’t gonna get X-Pac but he might be the only one of that set I do get. Orton maybe too, but I’m glad he doesn’t have the tongue out!

Just got a chance to look at the gallery now. Posting my thoughts before I got back and read the thread:
-The Basics are Basics. Not much to say there. The Jeff with the molded hoodie is at least something different.
-The main E85 is fine I guess. There’s nothing terrible in the set, but nothing that jumps out to me and screams “PREORDER ME.” Might pick up Liv if I saw her. Something looks “off” with Boneyard Taker and I’m not sure what.
-Kama looks great. Not particular my thing, but a great looking figure.
-U8 both look great, and I’m really happy I preordered them. My only “complaint” is the Macho jacket. As good as it looks standalone, on him it looks bulky like doll clothes. I think I would have preferred molded with interchangeable arms.
-Orton and Christian in Fan Takeover both look fine. Neither was my pick.
-Weapon X Gargano looks PHENOMENAL. The colors and the gear look great, and tbh look more like a cool X-Men tribute without the claw slash. And no, just like on the last Elite, I DON’T mind the the painted boot tops.
-X-PAC looks way better than I was expecting, mainly the head. Elevated that figure from a maybe to a definite for me.
-The Triple H/Jeff two-pack is FANTASTIC and stole the reveals. Hunter is a perfect 2001 Hunter, and Jeff might be my favorite Mattel ever. That was my dream Jeff era and that look to have nailed it. The mesh shirt is great, but to me the draw is the jersey. That was my favorite wrestling shirt at the time and it looks great in figure form.
All-in-all good set of reveals.

The more I look at the Kross figure, the more the lower legs ruin it for me. I'll probably cross him off the list of things shown today that I want and keep it to Jeff/HHH, Savage and Fan Takeover Orton.

WWE.com feels like it's literally a decade in the past. That site is not optimized for image galleries, and it is flat out broke on mobile. The Elite 2-packs are homerun after homerun. I love the unique packaging (this one brings me back to the TTL4/5/6/etc. days back in the early 2000s!) these all have. I wish I was feeling that Savage more. It's good, just not as colorful as I imagined it would be I guess? UE Edge on the other hand is a definite must have for me. I dig the maroon details in that incredibly detailed jacket, and the headscan is a strong likeness. That Kama...holy hell, that is a fantastic figure. Now the parts are there to make a really killer Nation Kama, which I hope comes next. I like the new thin singlet, thick body mold. Taker is cool, glad they're making it, but the torso piece makes him look a bit...huskier than normal. I still think that actual outfit should've been what he was wearing in his twilight years instead of that ill-fitting singlet. Ditto for modern Kane. That X-Pac likeness is incredible!! I was going to skip it since it's post-DX X-Pac, but I may get it now, swap the head on the Syxx figure, and use the shirt on Legends 3 Perfect to make him into nWo Hennig. Love the Triple h vs Jeff Hardy set, purely for the packaging etc. It's much better when a throwback Match is presented in this way, as opposed to being in a generic 2 pack carding. Gives a big nostalgia overload to something I otherwise wouldn't have much care for.

Makes me wonder if they even collect or just show up to troll on reveal day 😂 Seems pretty trolly of you to post in a reveals page about people and not the reveals... Everything looks great. Scrolling through, I didn't even realize Black was the chase. I thought to myself "Man, they're really proud of this figure since they have so many pics of it."
The only very tiny thing to nitpick that I noticed is Jeff and Triple H seem to be a little off-scale side by side, but I don't care. I'm buying it.

They took away the search function for photo galleries, now it pulls up entire "events" instead of single photos of stars. |

We really got cheated out of a Asuka figure, there's no reason that Becky with the briefcase could have been a Asuka, we have gone a year without Asuka really what are you thinking Mattel

A few thoughts...
-E85 Taker’s chest looks so bulky. Like he stuffed a pillow under his vest. I was definitely interested in this figure, but now I’m not so sure.
-Kama might be one of those figures I didn’t know I wanted until I saw it. The character never did much for me, but this looks great. My only fear is trying to find it at Walmart because there’s a lot of collectors in my area.
-UE8 is nice, but I’m not entirely sold on them. I’m not sure what it is, but something isn’t clicking with me on the attires. I’ll make a decision on them when the MOC photos are taken.
-I LOVE the Fan Takeover set. I am not a completist in any way, but I might end up buying this entire set.
-HHH/Hardy look great. I initially was going to pass because I already have the UE HHH, but that’s the Jeff I’ve always wanted, so I’ll probably pick it up too. Any ideas where this is being sold?
Overall, great job Mattel. I like these random photo reveal days!

The Triple H/Jeff Hardy 2-pack looks amazing, especially MOC with the Smackdown backdrop (which is how I'm keeping it).
I have mixed feelings on UE Edge. The head looks great, but not quite as great as the Elite...However the UE has a more accurate looking physique. But it seems to me that the colour of his tights is too dark. They should have went with a slightly lighter tone. And again they didn't include the black hand tape...Why?
I feel like the head on Boneyard Undertaker might be the best Taker head that's ever been done, but it looks like the vest he's wearing is a little bulky. Still an amazing figure overall.
Kama also looks great, as expected. X-Pac does as well, although I wish they could have included a Kane mask without the hair. I was looking forward to Christian, but the head is a miss...and the tone of purple is still a little off, so I think I'll just keep my original BOPPV Elite.

I still dont like mattels head scan or hair, i think its the hair that kills the figure. The biggest issue with the hair to me is the sunglasses holes, which could have been fixed by having one head with molded glasses and one normal one, but I digress. |
