I am all for double jointed elbows on elites, should have been a thing since the start. But pinless joints are f*cking terrible and are a nightmare for customizers and part swappers. I can't wait for people to get mad at me for not liking a design change on a mass produced line of toys.

I welcome the change. It's needed with the competition doing the same thing at the same price point. But from a customizing standpoint yeah the change isn't the greatest.

We should’ve have double jointed on elbows years but it’s complete BS they’re going pinless. It’s absolute hell for customizing. Why not just do what AEW is doing and just do regular double joints with pins

I've wanted this for years! Great to hear it's being implemented into the standard Elite line, too.

I'm with anyone saying double jointed elbows have been needed since the line started. Better late than never, and I'm thrilled to see it implemented. It works great on the Ultimates.
Anyone worried about customizing - I hear you, but I really don't think that toy companies are making figures with customizers in mind. If anything, they're catering to IG photographers/influencers more, since they're the ones showcasing their product and they want to make the figures look as good as possible.

They aren’t going to keep something just so the minority of their audience is happy.

Obviously companies don't cater to customizers and they shouldn't. But they've done the same style of articulation forever and the only change that should happen is double jointed elbows. The Ultimates look fine enough.

As I said in the other thread, if they're going to do double jointed elbows, I'd rather they be pin-less. Some of the bare arms on the Ultimates are an eyesore with the two pegs right besides each other.

I'm just happy for double jointed elbows and I am a customizer.
I'd trade pinned elbows in for a return to the basic's leg articulation any damn day.

You could probably still do a little slicey-slicey for custom purposes, but overall, it's a huge step up for Elites. Can't wait until they do it for people with full sleeve tats like Roman or Aleister Black. From AFA's Q&A thread: Were the double jointed elbows always planned to be added to elites or was it something that was brought up due to the AEW figures having them implemented at a similar price point? We were actually in the planning stages of this before the AEW line was even announced. Just think how far ahead the industry has to work. It did take us a little longer to rollout than I would have liked but it’s finally happening and I’m exited for the next gen of WWE figs. When can we expect to see double jointed elbows fully implemented into an entire elite set?
There’s no exact timing but roughly a year. Maybe a little less. Some single jointed arms might still pop up here and there though if it’s a really unique set of arms that may not have a lot of future re-use possibilities.

Well, I guess we need some new Undisputed Era figures.

I mostly do arm swaps from the shoulder, not the elbow, so as long as they don't change that connection this wont hurt my customs too much. I'd definitely be wanting to upgrade a bunch of my customs with double jointed arms when they release a Daniel Bryan or other pale cruiserweight.

The pin going through MJF’s tattoo really started making me second guess if I like pins or not, but my answers are different for WWE & AEW.
For AEW I wouldn’t mind pinless because Magic gets proportions accurate 95% of the time. For WWE it’s gonna be a nightmare because everyone has inaccurate arms and legs and now we won’t be able to change them

I’d rather they keep the elite line uniform It’s 10 years outdated and showing its age. They need to change it up

I don’t mind the double jointed elbows. The only problem I have is that some of the ultimates look like they have long arms. In addition to that, my UE Fiend has super loose elbows and there’s literally no way to fix it.
