(After the Raw intro, over "ACross the Nation" by Union Underground plays, we go to the arena.)
JR: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to our final Raw before Bound for Glory. We are here tonight from Duluth, Minnesota.
Tenay: And tonight, we focus on the final matches for the Million Dollar Man Battle Royale. Commissioner Foley has dedicated almost the entire night to finishing the qualifying matches.
(Orlando Jordan's music hits and he comes out to join the announcer's team. Elijah Burke comes out to face off with Christopher Harris. The two have a decent match, but, near the end, Jordan jumps to the apron, distracting Burke, and allowing Harris to hit the rockslide to advance and get into the Battle Royale. As Jordan celebrates on the ramp, Burke picks up a mic.)
Burke: Alright, Jordan, you want to screw me over. You have a problem with me. This is easy to solve. You and me, one on one. Bound For Glory.
(While the two men are still yelling at each other without mics, Samoa Joe stalks out. He grabs the mic out of Burke's hand.)
Joe: Week after week after week, I keep getting screwed out of what belongs to me. No Royale Rumble. No Million Dollar Battle Royale. I'm tired of being denied what is mine. And I do not even get a shot at Senshi, who has been barred from the arena tonight. If I do not get something to placate me...
(Before he can continue, Rey Mysterio drags out a battered Funaki, and rolls him into the ring.)
Tenay: Ask and you shall receive.
JR: Apparently, Rey Mysterio is willing to make Funaki a sacrificial lamb after all the grief Kyo Dai have given him.
(Sneering, Joe makes quick work of Funaki, hitting him with the muscle buster, then the cocina clutch for the tap out in under a minute. Rey slides in to raise his hand, but Joe hits the Muscle Buster and Clutch on him as well.)
Jr: I would trust Joe as far as I can throw him. And he is a very, VERY big boy.
Tenay: Rey made a deal with the devil tonight, and, like most deals, it did not end well.
(Cutting backstage, we see the Dudleyz, addressing the camera.)
Bubba: With the impending explosion between the Road Warriors and the Gymini, we feel that the titles should not be put up until a definitive winner in determined. Since both teams can claim they never legitimately lost the belts...whoever comes out on top will challenge us for the Tag Team Championship on the biggest stage of all.
D-Von: Whoever wins, we will have perhaps the greatest tag team match on the grandest stage of them all. Oh my brother...testify!
(Back in the ring, Eugene is set to face off with Mark Henry. Though Henry easily overpowers Eugene, he decides to play with him. Henry's abuse infuriates Eugene. Hulking up, he turns the tide and hits a Rock Bottom out of nowhere for the win.)
JR: That is about as big of an upset as we have seen in a long time. Eugene just beat the World's Strongest Man!
(Coming back from commercial, we go to our next qualifier: Akio, with Sakoda vs Chuck Palumbo, with Billy Gunn. Akio tries to spring off the ropes, but Chuck catches him and tosses him around. Though Akio is able to dodge moves, everytime he flies at Chuck, he either bounces off or gets reversed into a power move. Despite getting the better of the matchup, Palumbo gets destracted when Billy and Sakoda start fighting on the outside. This lets Akio get a quick roll up for the win.)
(Backstage, MVP confronts Godfather in his locker room.)
MVP: Feeling pretty good about yourself after last week huh? Got a cute little cheap win with Rhyno helping you cheat?
Godfather: Right, because the guy who had his entire stable take out my partner can talk about cheating. You're just mad because the better man won, just like he will at Bound For Glory.
(MVP seethes for a moment before slapping Godfather. As the two start trading punches, officials run in to break them up.)
Godfather: Pretty good at the cheap shots huh? I tell you what, MVP, I got something for you on Smackdown. Just wait. Enjoy it now, cause you won't have any fun come Friday.
(Coming back to the ring, we see Scotty 2 Hotty facing off against Nitro. Nitro tries to tie up with Scotty, but Scotty dodges and hits a, inventive chop to Nitro's head. Using his innovative offense, he keeps dodging Nitro's attempts to land blows and drops him. Finally, he reverses a superkick into a big atomic drop and scoop slam. He plays to the crowd, hitting the Worm for the win.)
Tenay: That's almost as big of an upset as Eugene pulled off earlier.
JR: And it doesn't seem to be sitting well with Nitro.
(MNM start beating down Scotty, but Rhyno runs out for the save. Mercury dives out of the ring, but Nitro doesn't notice. He gets a Gore for his troubles, and Rhyno raises Scotty's hand in victory as MNM limp to the back.)
(Coming back, we see Ultimo Dragon set to face off against R-Truth. As Truth makes his way to the ring, Alpha Male attacks him again. Pouncing him into the barricade, he drags him down the ramp and rolls him into the ring. Though he demands Dragon get the easy pin, Dragon waits for Truth to regain his feet. The two go back and forth trading moves, but ultimately, the damage from Alpha Male's attack is too much. Truth stumbles s he goes for the scissor kick. This lets Dragon dodge and hit the Dragon DDT for the win.)
JR: That damned Alpha Male just won't leave R-Truth alone.
Tenay: Let's not forget, JR. Alpha Male was done with Truth, and he decided to reignite their fight. This is truly his fault.
JR: My behind!
Alpha Male: You ain't getting nothing, while you're on my plains, chump. (Facing the camera) Monty Brown, Alpha Male. The rest are just Betas.
(We see Triple H getting ready in the locker room with Billy Gunn. As they joke around, Steiner runs in and clotheslines Gunn before pounding on HHH.)
Steiner: You all want to cost me my belt? You want to take what's mine? I'll break every last one of you in half!
(He overhead belly to bellys HHH into the lockers before grabbing Gunn and powerbombing him through the wooden bench.)
Steiner: Tell your punk ass buddy to give my belt back, or this is going to get worse. A LOT worse.
(Cryme Tyme confront Los Guerreros in their dressing room.)
Shad: I'm sure you heard the Dudleyz announcement earlier. (Eddie nods) Well, since your title shot is cancelled, surely you don't mind putting the match up against us?
Chavo: Whatchu mean homes?
JTG: What he means, is that we have a match tonight. Whoever wins faces the Dudleyz on Sunday. Since you don't have anything on the line anymore...why not?
(Chavo starts to respond, but Eddie cuts him off.)
Eddie: You're on, esse. (winking to Chavo) Don't worry Chavito, we got this.
(Sabin is already in the ring as we come back.)
Sabin: You know, Foley told me we needed a preview of our Bound For Glory match tonight. And nothing says preview like a good tag match. The only problem? A 3 on 2 isn't very sportsmanlike. So I called one of Foley's famous audibles. Tonight, we'll have a fair tag match with the 6th, and last member of our Bound For Glory match. This man..
(The arena goes black. Red siren lights bathe the arena in a battle ground glow as the word Red flashes on the screen. Amazing Red shows and the man himself comes out.)
JR: Holy cow! Amazing Red has come to FWA.
Tenay: He has been absent for years JR. And now, he's followed the X Division talent here.
(Red teams up with AJ Styles and Sabin to face off against Daniels, Petey Willians and Alex Shelley. Starting off, Red easily takes down Shelley. Head scissors, hurricanranas, running bulldogs. After several minutes of non-stop blows, Shelley retreats, tagging in Williams. He fares little better, getting several kicks to the legs before a float around DDT drops him to his knees. Red hits a projectile hurricanrana. Running over, he takes Daniels off the apron.)
JR: Red is absolutely cleaning house.
Tenay: He's showing he hasn't missed a beat in the time he was gone.
(Red tags in Aj who springs to the top rope for a 450 pin. Shelley breaks it up before the three can be counted. For several minutes, Aj dominates, but Williams gets a thumb to his eye and then Daniel runs in clotheslining him over the top. Sabin jumps in and suicide dives them. But when he gets back, Williams has recovered, and hits the Canadian Destroyer. Red breaks it up now, but Williams' team uses quick tags to wear down Sabin. But he finally manages to tag Red back in. Red clears house once more, and, as AJ watches his back, hits the Code Red on Alex Shelley for the win.)
JR: Welcome to FWA, Amazing Red. What a hell of a introduction.
(We go to commercial as Sabin, Red and AJ celebrate.)
(We come back to A-Train v Farooq. Farooq powers over A-Train's bigger bulk and batters him through the majority of the match. But Train is able to slip out of the Dominator at the top. Bouncing against the ropes he hits a quick Axe Kick and uses the ropes to get the pin, progressing to the Battle Royale on Friday.)
Jr: What a heartbreaker for Farooq.
Tenay: But you know everyone else has to be breathing a sigh of relief that they only have to face one, not both of the APA in the Million Dollar Royale.
(Foley is talking to Orton backstage when Lesnar comes in.)
Orton: What the hell did you want, Foley?
Foley: Ah, there he is right now. The one, the only, (Heyman voice) Brock Lesnar. You know, Randy....your opponent at Bound For Glory.
Orton: Cute. (he gets in Lesnar's face) That's fine with me. This will end the same way as the Rumble did.
Lesnar: What? You running like a little bitch?
Orton: (snickering) No. You, getting eliminated.
Foley: While I love the testosterone...it's great for the buy rate, we have more to discuss. This isn't exactly going to be a one on one. We will have a fatal four way of sorts. Since Randy can't be expected to be on his own, I have added Dave Batista to the match. After all, he'll come down anyway, so we might as well make it official.
Orton: I like where your head's at Foley. So who's our fourth? Ken Kennedy? Jamie Noble? Matt Morgan?
Foley: No, those would be interesting choices but (knocking at the door), I believe that may be him right now. Why don't you, uh, make yourself useful and get the door?
(Orton does to see Goldberg. He jumps back as Goldberg laughs. Lesnar joins in)
Goldberg: Randy Orton, you're next.
Orton: What the hell, Foley? That's not a four way, it's a tag.
Lesnar: (Stepping in) Oh, no, Randy. It's very fatal. For you. Thanks, Commish.
Foley: Oh, and Randy? If any other member of the New Bloods comes down during your match...you are fired.
(Flair escorts Sting down for a match against Mankind, flanked by Hogan. The two tie up, with Hogan subtly helping Mankind cheat to get the upperhand while Flair is kicked out for trying to interfere against him. While the ref is busy booting Flair, RVD dives over the guard rail and takes Hogan out. Mankind is so surprised by this, he doesn't notice Sting sneak up behind him to hit the Scorpion Death Drop for the win. As Hogan and Mankind stagger up the ramp, RVD grabs a microphone.)
RVD: For weeks, you have been attacking me, trying to cripple me, trying to end my career. I've had enough. You want my shot at Wrestlemania? Come Sunday, you'll get your chance. It;ll be you and me, one on one. No running, no hiding, no countouts. We will be tied together with a strap. Whoever gets the pinfall or the submission goes on to Wrestlemania!
JR: Oh, my god, Mike Tenay! We haven't had a strap match is years.
Tenay: What a blockbuster match, JR. Let's hope, for RVD's sake, that he doesn't regret it.
(Coming back, we see the Dudleyz at the announcer's table. Los Guerreros come out to face Cryme Tyme for their now non-title match on Sunday.)
JR: Do either of you have a favorite in this match.
D-Von: We will fight anyone, anywhere, any time.
Bubba: We have history with Eddie Guerrero, even if we haven't faced him with his nephew, but have never faced Cryme Tyme. Either one will be a great match.
D-Von: A great TUNE UP match, to prepare us for the real deal at Wrestlemania.
(Starting off, Chavo tries to go toe to toe with Shad. After the big man tosses him around like a rag doll for several minutes, Chavo tags in Eddie. Eddie quickly wears down Shad, targetting his legs. He and Chavo tag repeatedly to keep weakening Shad. Eddie eventually goes for the three amigos, but, after the first, Shad reverses it into a suplex of his own and tags in JTG.)
Bubba: See, here's the thing. Los Guerreros have the experience. But Cryme Tyme has to hunger. Plus they're a LOT younger.
D-Von: Also, Los Guerreros are established. They want the win of course. But it's just a win. They're multi-time champs. Cryme Tyme has never held a belt, or even faced champions. This shot means the world to them.
(JTG takes Chavo off the apron and hammers away at Eddie. With a thumb to the eye, Eddie turns the tide. He hits the three amigos on JTG, but, during the second, unbeknownst to him, Shad gets the tag. Eddie tosses JTG out for Chavo to finish, only to get caught from behind with the STO and pinned.)
JR: Cryme Tyme just pulled a page out of Los Guerreros book. They stole a victory.
Bubba: No, JR. They saw an opportunity and they took it. That's what it takes to succeed in this division.
(The Dudleyz stand up and applaud Cryme Tyme, their challengers for Sunday. As the winners celebrate, Edge makes his way to the ring for his match. )
Tenay: Edge demanded a shot at the tournament from Million Dollar Man directly.
JR: And apparently, he feels that his match is more important than the men already in the ring.
Tenay: That match is over JR, it is time to move on.
(Kenzo Suzuki's music hits and he comes out. Edge tries to shoot on him before the bell rings, but Kenzo overpowers him and tosses him away. He pounds away but Edge manages to reverse into an Edge-O-Matic. When he tries for a downward spiral, Kenzo pushes him away and catches him on the rebound from the ropes for a Southern Lights suplex. At the last second Edge kicks out. Kenzo tries to attack Edge, but is dropped face first onto the second turnbuckle. Edge tries for a spear, but Kenzo dodges and then hits the Rising Sun when Edge is stunned, for the pin.)
Tenay: What a tremendous win for Kenzo Suzuki. He just beat the man with the longest record in an FWA Royale Rumble.
JR: We have one more match to finalize the Battle Royale, coming up next, but as it stands this is the match.
(We see a graphic with Maven, Regal, Bradshaw, Scotty 2 Hotty, Chris Harris, Ultimo Dragon, Jamie Noble, Ken Kennedy, CM Punk, Chris Harris, A-Train, Eugene, Akio, Kenzo Suzuki, Muhammad Hassain, and a question mark.)
Tenay: And it is time to fill our last spot.
(Psychosis and Evan Bourne come out for the final MDM matchup. For several minutes, every attempt to hit a move is countered or reversed. The two start taking high flying risks that don't pay off. In desparation, Psychosis goes for a turnbuckle bomb, but, at the last minute, Bourne hurricanranas him into the turnbuckle. While he is stunned, Bourne climbs aboard his shoulders to hit a spinning DDT, before landing the Air Bourne and the pin. He celebrates as we go to commercial.)
(Coming back, we see the Gymini already in the ring as Kurt Angle's music hits.)
JR: We are in for a unique pairing tonight. We have the greatest pure wrestler in the ring tag teaming for the first time tonight with perhaps the greatest technical team to ever step in the ring. It's a purist's dream come true.
Tenay: But let's not forget the competition, JR.
(On cue, the Road Warriors' theme hits. Animal and Heidenreich come out with Sylvester Terkay.)
JR: Terkay has not joined the Road Warriors, as sad as that news is for you at home. But he specifically said that he would not have his entrance music played, in reverance of the iconic tag team. Animal insisted that he join them then, if he would not have his own entrance.
Tenay: Classy on all sides.
(When the men get in the ring, Terkay goes straight for Angle, who retreats and tags in Jake. Big as he is, Terkay is able to evade his offense and take him down. Embarassing him, he tags in Animal, letting the Road Warriors have their way with the Gymini member.)
JR: Angle wants no part of Terkay.
Tenay: It's called strategy, JR. He is waiting for the perfect moment.
JR: It's called damned cowardice.
(Jake is decimated for awhile, but Angle distracts everyone, to allow Jesse to make the switch. Heidenreich goes for "Jake" but is caught off guard. Jesse levels him, and, after several dominating moves, tags Angle in. Angle stalks Heidenreich.)
Tenay: Gifted as Angle is, he has never faced a Road Warrior.
JR: This is not for lack of opportunity. But for lack of spine.
Tenay: JR, Angle has never had the chance to face these men.
JR: And I have never passed on a salad to eat a steak. Stop it, Tenay.
(Angle takes advantage of the weakened Heidenreich to manhandle him. Several suplexes, a few obviously pointless submissions. He flaunts his superiority to the other side.
He tries to lock Heidenreich in the Ankle Lock, but he tags in Terkay from the submission.)
JR: Business has just picked up. Angle is about to face the music.
(Angle tags out, but Terkay is uninterested in winning the match. He dive bombs Angle off the apron and brawls with him to the back. Surprised by the departure, the Gymini are caught unaware for Heidenreich blitzing Jesse out of the ring, leaving Jake open for the Doomsday Device and the pin.)
(Backstage, we see Foley talking to both HBK and Hall via Skype.)
Foley: I'll make this brief. I have a soft spot in my heart for Detroit, Michigan. So, not only will you two unveil each other's picks for Bound For Glory, we will have a tag team main event. Each of you will team with your choice for the PPV. I REALLLY hope you choose well.
JR: And now, the main event. Umaga and Kane are set to face off to determine the stipulation for their hardcore match on Sunday.
(The two tie up. While Umaga is wild and unchained, Kane is bigger and stronger. After several minutes of keeping Umaga on the ropes, however, the lights go out. When they come back on, Kane is flattened. Sabu is standing there with a barbed wire chair. Slowly, Umaga lifts Kane for the samoan spike and the pin. Raven comes on the screen.)
Raven: In case it wasn't obvious, Kane, our stipulation for winning is easy. You will defend the Hardcore Title in a two on one against Sabu and Umaga. If there is a god....may he have mercy on your soul....
