Has anyone here played this game before? I just watched this review and I'm tempted to give it a try, but I was curious about your experiences. How is it compared to TNA Impact (instantly came to mind due to the same ring type) and other niche wrestling titles? Is the character creator any good?

I haven’t played it but from what I remember of reviews and seeing gameplay, it was pretty much TNA impact with the AAA brand on it. I’m not a big fan of lucha libre myself so I didn’t bother with it for that fact and impact got boring and repetitive quickly.

I watched that video the other day and went right on eBay and got a copy for $13 shipped.

I watched that video the other day and went right on eBay and got a copy for $13 shipped. Whenever you get the chance to play, I'd like to hear your opinions on it. I feel like although this game appears similar to TNA Impact, it may have things about it that are better. If only it had more match types, I'd even argue that this engine could have been used for a sequel to the TNA game. |

I bought a copy years ago for PS3 I think. It was like $8 at Big Lots...never played it lol

It plays like a bootleg version of TNA iMPACT but I liked it solely based on the novelty of finally having a lucha libre game. It runs on Unreal like the TNA game and it feels very similar. Some things suck, like the suicide dives tracking you like heat seeking missiles. It's not a bad game like some claim, but it's not great either. If you like lucha, give it a shot. If you don't like lucha, just play TNA iMPACT.

Finally got my 360 plugged in and gave it a go. Maybe it is because it is so new to me, but I quite enjoy it. It is sort of slow and some of the animations look stuff, but it looks good. There isn't a whole lot of match types and not a lot of wrestlers unlocked to start with. I plan to try to career mode and unlock more soon. The biggest hurdle is probably the controls. Does anyone know where I could maybe find some CaW formulas? Caws.ws doesn't seem to have any. I wish I would of known about this game when it came out.

It's cool that you finally got to try the game out and to hear your feedback. I think I might as well try the game myself too. Worst case, I just play through once and don't play it afterwards. I hear in the career mode, there are a lot of handicap matches. Sounds like the Acclaim titles all over again... |
