It was a good line; I miss it sometimes. Good memories.
Jakks pulled some stupid bullsh*t when the line ended though.
Shawn Michaels/Taker 2 pack; with Shawn just having red tights with grey outline? wtf; they did the same when we got WM 25 Edge/Big Show 2 pack. With like; Edge just having black r on the crotch and that was the attire? just why?
Some of the figures got loose way to quick; or would break on me. I never played tough with them as a kid. But; some just broke down on me. Some of them felt indestructable it was weird.
Like when we would get the Best of 2009 line; we'd get say best of 2009 Triple H; but without attire designs??? Just a black speedo HHH? Or they made DA Edge in the last year with Edge having his Survivor Series 2008 attire; but without the thunder bolts?
That's one thing Mattel; sometimes will get the color scheme wrong or a minor detail wrong. But; Jakks would literally do us so dirty on some figures. Not okay.

Some of the downfalls to the ruthless aggression figures were the scaling and some of the figures I got especially some later ones the arms were beyond loose and almost impossible to keep in place. The arm thing was the worst. Happened more often than I could remember. It's like the shoulder area where the torso halves meet would break down or something and cause the arms to be loose and tilt slightly. You'd know something broke once you hear the rattle too. There is a little black or tan rubber stopper that goes in the shoulder slot. they switched the glue they used around RA 17 from what i remember. the torsos were incredibly harder to open for customs. They also switched the stoppers and made them more thin. This may be why they were loose. I dont think theyd fall out as they are the same size as the joint and would be hard to fall out. |

All that stuff is from their last year where they didn't care anymore cause they were losing the line and cheaped out on tons of stuff. They never pulled stuff that bad in any of their other years. I remember the moment when I stopped collecting: December 2008. I was getting sick of the product at the time and was upset Jakks were losing the license. I stopped watching and collecting for the next 2 years. |

Not okay. literally the last 6 months of a contract they had lost. cant compare that to the other jakks items. every jakks figure came with elbow pads, knee pads, and an accessory. mattel the elbow pads are the accessory...if the figure has them. |

People look back too fondly. There were a lot of great Jakks RA figures. At the same time there were a lot of bad ones, and not just in the last year. The Classic Series had a lot of oof moments too. I loved collecting and playing with RA figures, but looking back I’m glad we moved on from them.
