Cage presents 205 Live (or, simply, 205 Live) is a professional wrestling rebooking alt universe produced on WrestlingFigs that premiered on February 11th, 2021 at 10:44PM on the fantasy booking subforum. This show currently does not have a set schedule. The show currently only features cruiserweight competitors; those athletes billed at a maximum weight of 205 pounds.
Timeline:
Cage presents discusses the Cruiserweight Division (February 2016) Accompany series to the Rebooking NXT show was being planned as a ten week series that would follow 32 Cruiserweight competitors striving to prove they are the best Cruiserweight in the world. The competitors will be seeking not just the chance to perform and win but to do what every pro wrestler dreams of doing - getting themselves over in the eyes of a fantasy booker, as well as making a name for themselves in front of the biggest audience possible, hoping to not be rejected, win or lose.
The worldwide race to earn a spot in the Cage presents Global Cruiserweight Series is heating up, as U.K. independent promotion PROGRESS Wrestling and U.S. independent promotion EVOLVE have announced the participants in the qualifying matches they’re playing host to ahead of this summer’s tournament. On Sunday, April 24 2016 in Camden Town, London, PROGRESS will present two matches with the incredible opportunity to compete in the GCS on the line. In the first qualifier, international star and technical wizard Zack Sabre Jr. will begin his journey in the Global Cruiserweight Series when he takes on up-and-coming highflier Flash Morgan Webster, who will surely be out to play spoiler and catapult himself into the spotlight. The second bout sees world-traveled grappler Jack Gallagher square off against the hard-hitting “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne.
Cage presents the 1st Qualifying Matchup (May 7th, 2016): TJ Perkins vs. Fred Yehi (EVOLVE Wrestling). TJP advances to compete in the Cruiserweight Classic, finishing him off with an impressive 450 splash, and the announcers were hyping up that one of these men was going to advance every step of the way for this match.
Triple H had this to say regarding the match: "Today, I saw talent seize opportunity, knock down doors, and exceed expectations both in and out of the ring. Today, we launched a brand."
Cage presents adds Global Cruiserweight Series to robust programming slate (May 8th 2016): "Cage presents continues to add to its already robust slate of original programming in 2016, with its just greenlit show, the Global Cruiserweight Series. It will be a tournament that brings together more than 30 (32, to be exact) of the greatest in-ring competitors at Full Sail University in Winter Park and Orlando, Florida, to vie for the right to call themselves the best cruiserweight in the world. This series is set to premiere on July 13th 2016. (Other programs offered by Cage presents include WWX, LCWF, and Rebooking NWA-TNA, among others.) Speculation was rampant throughout the summer as to who would be announced as the field became clearer. The event was originally titled the Global Cruiserweight Series before being renamed as the Cruiserweight Classic.
Cage presents the Cruiserweight Classic (May 17th 2016) Tournament qualifying matches took place in various promotions of the independent circuit, including well known promotions, such as Revolution Pro Wrestling, Progress Wrestling, and Evolve. Many cruiserweight wrestlers from around the world were given the chance to qualify for the 32-man single-elimination tournament.
“These performers will be given an unprecedented opportunity to showcase their elite athleticism and unbridled passion across WWE's global platforms.” - Executive VP of Talent Relations, Paul Levesque
Speculation begins (May 18th, 2016): Ricochet was considered a lock to enter, but his contract with Lucha Underground put his status in jeopardy.
Cage presents announces the entrants in the Cruiserweight Classic (June 13th 2016, 7:37PM): There was much speculation as to who would be involved because it was unknown at the time whether they had to be under contract to compete. In a ground breaking move, it was announced that no they did not. Among those announced for the tournament were several notable NXT stars, such as Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, and Rich Swann. Stars from the independent circuit, such as, Zack Sabre, Jr., Tony Nese, and Cedric Alexander. Some familiar veterans in Tajiri and The Brian Kendrick. Someone many consider to be the biggest name on the list, NJPW star Kota Ibushi, who was recently rumored to have been signed by WWF. Of note, Andrade "Cien" Almas, originally the odds on favorite, was not announced to compete. The Cruiserweight Classic is set to premiere 1 month from today, Wednesday July 13, with special host (current LCWF X-Division Champion) Daniel Bryan, exclusively on the Cage presents network and he will be joined by one of the voices of Xplosion, "The Professor" Mike Tenay.

Episode 1 (November 29, 2016):
Austin Aries & Cedric Alexander def. Akira Tozawa & Ariya Daivari (Aries pins Tozawa)
*My purpose here is to show as much of the talent of 205 as possible. Keep The Bollywood Brothers for tag team spots later because there’s no 205 live tag titles, in all honesty I’d prefer them as singles stars that each tag team match makes them stand out more as individuals. Aries is a grounded name already so kicking things off with him would really get the ball rolling. I think Ariya has something too, so the focus of this match would be Ariya and Aries. Assuming of course that Aries is cleared to compete.
Gentleman Jack Gallagher def. Drew Gulak
Main Event: Rich Swann def. The Brian Kendrick New Cruiserweight Champion
Aries was deciding when would be the most appropriate time for him to step foot in the ring and start chasing the Cruiserweight Championship. So his decision was to either open the show or wait until he is just handed a title shot. He opens the show and backs up his words with an impressive win.
