I am not sure of the rules when it comes to dubbing your own thread an "official" anything but it seems there is a lot of us with burning questions that take up their own individual post. I have also observed a bit of backlash when it comes to what might seem to be a rhetorical question to some, but to others who don't follow the line as closely this may be a genuine inquiry.

Perhaps we use this one thread for the various questions newcomers might have for more experienced posters to answer? Just an idea. Lock if not please!
