Sad I couldn't watch live, but I really enjoyed tonight.
Opener was great, I'm thoroughly enjoying big money Matt, and seeing the dark order refuse to give up on hangman and support him anyways is the ultimate heartwarming Babyface play I can get behind. Keep bringing -1, just makes it more wholesome.
Deeb vs. riho was excellent as expected. I'm so glad they gave them time to really go. This women's tourney really does feel like they're finally turning the corner on the women's division. Speaking of which, noticed Brooke Havok, Miranda Alize both in crowd tonight. Also pretty sure I saw Lindsay snow which is great, she got hurt her last appearance. No kilynn King for like a month now though which sucks ☹️. Didn't see Ivelisse or Diamante either but I'm sure they were just backstage. Probably taping a dark match right after or something.
Cassidy vs. Luther was so random. I gotta think that was a late addition due to either covid or the weather keeping someone away.
Some real movie magic helping Shaq hit that free throw lol. Weird segment but w/e I'm still excited to see how jade looks.
That tag title match was awesome. Hated the finish but no biggie. Crushed pnp didn't win but they're only 30 and they're here for the long haul. Their time will come sooner rather than later. Great freaking match. I can see lots of story potential going forward too, so as much as I liked my fantasy booking, I'm ok. Just really not hyped at all for the title match at Revolution. I'm gonna be so nervous Jericho and mjf might actually win the thing, which would be a huge mistake.
Ftr looked solid, no Tully was concerning. Hope he didn't get covid. Mike sydal is, um. Not good at wrestling. I wondered why I'd never seen this other sydal brother before. Now I know. Hope I don't see him again lol. Matt's good though, great low card guy to have.
Main event was good. Hard to complain with those six guys in a ring.
Crazy excited for that Moxley/Omega match.
Revolution is shaping up to be incredible again. That ladder match should be fun. Glad Penta has his visa issues sorted, and I'm thinking Scorpio is coming back from an injury being thrust right into that match.
Lots of good stuff tonight, I very much enjoyed myself. Great Redeemer after that awful dark episode last night lol.

So who will the “Seth is dangerous! He ended Stings career!” crowd blame if Old Man Borden gets hurt this time around?

Not that I believe it had anything to do with Seth.... but if Sting hurts his neck again then people will probably say “well Seth effed up his neck to begin with so of course something would happen.”

Even with Mike looking a little lost at times, THIS is the team I've been wanting in FTR. Hopefully they keep this energy moving forward. They're no nonsense badasses right now, and I love it. This version on FTR is one of my favorite teams in all of wrestling. More of that please!

Last night was proof they can still do it and do it really damn well.

Last night was proof they can still do it and do it really damn well. they're in some ways the best tag team in the world. best overall workers, and by that I mean their consistency level is unmatched and their ring work is top knotch in terms of believable logical presentation and doing what makes sense for their character. it's funny, because in a lot of ways the bucks are the perfect counterpoint to FTR, which makes that rivalry so natural.

So who will the “Seth is dangerous! He ended Stings career!” crowd blame if Old Man Borden gets hurt this time around? well, luckily most of the wwe board trolls got ran off, but I'm sure we'd hear from them if that was the case if you wanna see something downright sad, read the beginning of the AEW thread here and how dismal those who had no knowledge about the company deemed it and damned it before it even existed. I'd laugh at the posts if they weren't so damn cringe.

It was definitely good for some chuckles, and interesting to see who was all in the threads back then.

Those first ten pages reeked of irrational insecurity. There were some good posts in there too of course but not nearly as many. I also remember how long I (and others) had to whine to get an actual aew section on this board though. Literally took until the figure deal got announced.

Our opinions don't matter though, everyone who's here now are just a bunch of Never-Vincers desperately clinging to a sinking ship lulz. Aside from a few who stop by to drop some "impartial truth", who we all should give thanks to for dedicating time out of their lives to educate us numbskulls.

Like my status says, I'm just a stupid indie loving mark. I earned that title by association for thinking they're wasting ricochet. Someone should tell bushi road that new Japan counts as the Indies now. Edit: jokes gonna be on them if I win that wwe prediction contest lol.
