So Pearce said earlier in the show that he was gonna annouce the fastlane main event as Edge and Bryan vs Roman and USO until Bryan made the challenge. Any chance that this beat down takes Bryan out so that Edge turns to Christian? I never thought I would say that I didn't want Bryan in a match but here I am. I hope we get a E&C reunion match against anybody but especially Roman and Uce with how great they've been but to give my opinion on your question...I would say yes that's what came to my mind as soon as DBry couldn't get the win. Right now i don't think Edge will win the title at Mania that could change when we get closer but either way if he's champ or not I hope Edge's first feud on SD after Roman is with Bryan. Their segments have me really interested in seeing them in a nice long feud.

I don't get the idea of having champions BEGGING to be challenged. That is quite possible the stupidest idea WWE has come up with. To have both Roman Reigns AND Sasha Banks beg the Rumble winners to challenge them is just terrible storytelling.

So you are the new “every thing sucks but I still watch and complain” gimmick guy huh?

Yeah it's really simple and makes a lot of sense. Look at the true assassins in any sport. I'm talking the Michael Jordan's of the world. They live on competition. To be successful at that level you have to thrive on competition and challenges. It makes perfect sense that both Roman and Sasha would be begging the rumble winners to challenge them. Neither of them are playing the chicken crap heel role. They're both trying to cement themselves as the alpha's of their respective divisions. Rather than being the stupidest idea WWE has come up with, it's more likely the most accurate, logical thing to do for champions like them.

In Roman's case, going after Edge is sorta the chickensh*t thing to do, in my eyes. Roman has been getting the W's, but they've come from some interference, dastardly tactics, and in the LMS, some terrible refereeing. Now instead of giving fair shots to Kevin Owens or Daniel Bryan or Seth Rollins, or a real threat like Big Bill 'Berg who could theoretically overpower Uce, Roman chooses to face who he thinks is a dilapidated weak legend to pad his stats. Sure, they'll likely write the build to paint Edge as a stronger challenger but I still think it's a weaker story and a weaker matchup than what they had available.

Roman demanding that Edge pick him, had nothing to do with Edge. It was all about main eventing WrestleMania. Roman believes he is the most important thing in the WWE and therefore deserves to be in the main event at WresteMania. By having Edge pick him, that would be guaranteed. I think it was good story telling.
That being said, it made no sense this week for Roman to seemingly try to talk Edge out of going through with his decision to pick Roman. I suppose they can say it was Roman trying to get in the Edge's head and damage his confidence, but I didn't care for it.

I took it as now that Edge has picked him, Roman is gonna get in his head now, try to damage his confidence, break him down in the same way he did to Jey USO. Roman is a manipulator.

I think it was good story telling. As well as the entitlement, Roman also has the huge insecurity - he couldn't have handled Edge picking Drew as the worthier champion. He hates not being in control of any situation. I also didn't like him changing his tune to try convincing Edge to back out, but I think that's part of him trying to control the situation as well - he got Edge to pick him, now if he could get Edge to back out, that would be the ultimate win. Having to face Edge, one of the few wrestlers who has the same propensity for manipulation and opportunism, is a dangerous prospect for him.
