If someone is so public and clear about acknowledging something, can we at least lend that notion some credence already?
Anyway, looking forward to some Foley next week. Don't know how much untold story there can be, but his WWE projects have always been some of my favorites.

Don't know how much untold story there can be, but his WWE projects have always been some of my favorites. I felt the same way about Austin. How many times can we recap his career? But his A&E was so well done and I still learned more about him. Foley is much the same way but I still always look forward to hearing his story. I thought Booker T was really refreshing and the Savage one could've been great if it wasn't such a hit piece.

Any way to watch these online? You can make a free 7-day trial account with the Philo app. If you are like me and seem to have an endless amount of email addresses, you can make a new one each time an episode comes out

Mick Foley's Biography was supposed to air last night, but A&E aired Ultimate Warrior instead to get a head up on DSOTR.

So was the Warrior one truthful or another attempt to kiss his ass?

So was the Warrior one truthful or another attempt to kiss his ass? Definitely wasn't as much Self-destruction levels because Vince came off looking like ripe sh*t as well. WWE ate some blame for his professional downfall but he didn't come off clean either. Overall they hyped the "complicated man" narrative, showcasing both good and bad. Dana was involved so it wasn't a hit piece in her mind. It was suggested that the lack of a trustworthy father figure in Warrior's early life may have contributed to a hypermasculinity complex (among other things), which what I hear will also be a topic in his upcoming DSOTR ep courtesy of his first wife. EDIT: After I posted, it seems some aren't too thrilled with how shallow the show dug into certain aspects. I'm no expert on the dude.

So was the Warrior one truthful or another attempt to kiss his ass? It was something of a redemption story but they had some odd and questionable interviewees (Vince Russo, a random fan, a filmmaker, Sam Roberts, etc). One of Ultimate Warrior's daughters does boxing/kickboxing and wants to be a pro wrestler, but his other daughter actually has the more marketable look.

I thought the Warrior bio was good. Like most of these, it wasn't a lot of new info for fans who have followed his career, but there was some new stuff, and the behind the scenes footage was great. I was excited all day waiting for it to air, which hasn't happened for any TV show for me in years and years, and it didn't disappoint me. They did his story justice and presented a fairly balanced picture of who he was.

just watched the macho one. hogan is a brutal liar, he's admitted he knew liz was sleeping around and had connected her to a small time movie producer she was having a fling with.
lying still. after all these years.

Honestly at this point Hogan has told so many lies he probably believes that's how things actually happened.

Pete Rosenberg is brutal in these. zero depth, just furthers the biography narrative.
when he said he thinks the Shawn Michaels story is one we can all relate to he had the conviction of a bad used car salesman

So far Iβve felt 2 bios werenβt so good.
βThanks Sam Roberts for your whatever instant letβs bring it back to another whatever person insiderβ. I know theyβre limited to who can/wants to be interviewed but, how about not just filling it with Whoever or Whatever.
And WWE Treasure Hunt has taken me back to why I quit watching Reality TV years ago. And yet Iβm watching it again. Only 1 Iβm watching next is when they show the hunt for Andreβs stuff.

Just watched the HBK episode, loved it, brought me back to being a kid, except when I was a kid, I had no idea HBK was falling apart behind the scenes, great watch tho, even had my wife glued to the tv, and she hates wrestling lol

Lmao at Vince in Bret's episode. "It was like an actor refusing to be killed off in the last episode... What else could we do?" You don't murder the actor in real life just so you can get the shot.

I was so tired last night, I fell asleep during the second hour of Bret Hart's Biography. Next week's Most Wanted Treasures show has Big Show and Mark Henry looking for Andre the Giant memorabilia in Jacksonville, LOL.

I really enjoyed SCSA, Booker, Mick, & Bretβs bios the best.
SCSA: Great. Piper: Decent/good. Macho Man: Not good. I could take it or leave it. Bubba Love Sponge & Hogan BS. Booker T: Great. HBK: Decent. Warrior: Didnβt care for. Kind of boring. Mick: Great. Bret: Great.
Little to lot of things I didnβt know about each wrestler. Still worth watching. Bookers was the my favorite. Macho & Warrior least favorite.

I thought the Bret bio was one of the best, but I've enjoyed all of them. Stone Cold, Mick Foley, and Bret Hart are all in competition for the best. All three are worth watching multiple times. Lmao at Vince in Bret's episode. "It was like an actor refusing to be killed off in the last episode... What else could we do?" You don't murder the actor in real life just so you can get the shot. I found that comment weird and not applicable. How many times does an actor refuse to be killed off, anyway? Is that really a problem producers have to deal with? "My contract is up and I'm willingly leaving the show, BUT YOU CAN'T KILL ME OFF!" Uh, okay. What else could you do, Vince? You could do what you agreed upon or any number of other things Bret said he was fine with that still kept the title with WWE and didn't screw over your biggest star who YOU suggested should leave and go to WCW.
