I feel that plans got changed and this raw was rewritten, possibly with Vince reportedly not happy that the mania plans had leaked. Damian's tag match and the wwe title both changed courses potentially tonight. So if he was mad they got leaked, wouldn’t he want to change things up instead of just doing what was leaked aka having Bobby go in as WWE Champion? |

Well, what a horrible way to win the WWE title. That does nothing for nobody. And if I was the Miz, I'd just walk away. No coming back from that now.

One of the few consistent things on the show was Miz always needs help otherwise he cannot hang with anyone on the roster. He is a reality star turned chick magnet turned movie star. His whole M.O is not getting hit and having valets and tag partners do most of the heavy lifting so he wins matches.
A 61 year old Jerry Lawler had him beat for the WWE title before if not for Alex Riley & Michael Cole. I'd say even some fans think they could take him but they wouldn't win due to interference & that could be 1 of the reasons why he is disliked.

I was saying last year Bobby should be WWE Champion when he was feuding with Apollo in the mid card. Really happy for the guy because Hurt Business has been one of the best groups in a long time

Well, what a horrible way to win the WWE title. That does nothing for nobody. And if I was the Miz, I'd just walk away. No coming back from that now. I have no issues the way Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship because The Miz is a chicken crapheel and what a perfect match type. It was something for Lashley, they put the title on the right guy. Bobby looks like and works like a real main eventer. Vince McMahon tells every talent that you are going to be the champion from this date and that date, if The Miz went into business for himself he would get punished and/or fired. Miz will never and be taken seriously as a legit main eventer with lame F level comedy. |

Lashley has had an odd 2nd stint with the company. He went from beating up guys in drag pretending to be his sisters to showing off his butt with Lio Rush to being in a horrible storyline with Lana to jobbing to Aleister Black (who would disappear 3 months later) to being in the Hurt Business and winning the WWE World Championship. I still liked him better in the RA Era and TNA/Impact though.

Good for Lashley. And I'll say it, at least the WWE has diversity and that's a good thing. Gives kids all over a sense of pride and excitement.

Lashley finally getting the main prize in the company was a great moment. Never been a big fan of his but really happy that he can be called a World Champion, well deserved after the year him and MVP has had.

I think Miz knows his role, and plays it better than most. He's not focused on 35 minute finisher spams, hokey flips, or being the cool heel with a wink and a nod. He's a old school heel.
So no. He doesn't need to walk away. He doesn't need to go elsewhere. He's excelled at his dream job, married a playboy model, reality TV show, starred in movies, and has more money than most could dream of. He's living his best life.
