human posted this gif in a '92 Rumble thread and got me thinking, what if Flair had lost his grip and fell to the floor? Would Sid have won and became champ or Hogan? How would they get the belt to Flair if either two of those men won? They're planning on turning Sid heel and they rarely did heel vs heel matches and no way are they having Hogan lose to Flair, what do you guys think? How would the Rumble go on if Flair accidentally got eliminated and had to put the belt on either Hogan or Justice? |

this was brought up about micheals win in 95 or 96 hanging on the ropes. i always wonder about things like that.

My thought has always been that they would fix it the next night on Raw by having a match.

Just going off that gif, Savage could have kept the ref distracted from seeing Flair hitting the floor. If there was another ref at ringside, I'm sure they (the wrestlers) could have communicated to the other ref to "run to Macho" so that they could have been distracted. Refs don't see it, Flair gets back in, wins and he cheated, adding more heat.

My thought has always been that they would fix it the next night on Raw by having a match. raw wasn't a show until a year later, but yeah, they could've had a tv match to clear up flair losing. |
