Loving the PWU logo. I'd add something like that to my show, but I have no idea how to go about doing such a thing. Very nice and authentic.

April 22nd 2021This week’s show opens up with brief highlights of last week’s show before Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness welcome everybody to the show.Ranallo: ”Welcome everybody to the go-home episode of Warfare! We are just three days away from Spring Sacrifice and tonight is gonna be jam packed with a triple main event featuring the three competitors in the World Championship match at Spring Sacrifice!”McGuinness: ”That’s right Mauro, our World Champion Drew Galloway will go up against Killer Kross tonight, Aleister will go one on one with AJ Styles and Bobby Lashley will face Adam Cole! Not to mention the face off between Jon Moxley and CM Punk ahead of their Sacrifice cage match on Sunday!”As McGuinness finishes talking, we hear Kevin Steen’s music hit!Ranallo: ”Well.....sounds like we’re kicking things off with Kevin Steen!”
Kevin Steen makes his way to the ring as the fans chant ‘Kill Steen Kill’. Raucous crowd tonight in Detroit, Michigan! Steen gets on the mic “Since day one here in PWU, I’ve been overlooked, disrespected and screwed over all by one man. The man who calls himself our General Manager....Stu Bennett. (The fans boo) Now two weeks ago, I issued a challenge to Mr Bennett to a match at Spring Sacrifice to which he accepted. However yet again, Mr Bennett throws a roadblock in front of me and tells me that he has added a stipulation which states I can not challenge for the PWU World Championship or the PWU International Championship while he is still in power here, if I lose. However...I’d like Mr Bennett to come out here and listen to a proposition I have for him.” Stu Bennett arrives on the stage to a chorus of ‘bunghole’ chants. Bennett is accompanied by his enforcer, Sha Samuels. Bennett has a mic in his hand “Whaaaaa whaaaa, that’s all I hear from you Steen just bitching and moaning about how you’ve been screwed and disrespected here. Last week I accepted your challenge, I don’t understand what else needs discussing” Steen snaps back “Well I’ll tell you what Bennett.....how about we make our match more interesting and raise the stakes. If you win, I cannot challenge for either the World or International Championship BUT if I win.....you are no longer the GM of this company...” the fans cheer and begin ‘yes’ chants. Bennett laughs “Haha....what makes you think I’ll accept that!? I’m not putting my job on the line for you or anybody else. So the answer is no.” Steen retaliates “Well clearly you’re scared to get in the ring with me cos you know deep down that you’ll lose....oh and that you are a p***y!” The fans start chanting ‘Stu’s a p***y’! Bennett looks irate and snaps “Fine!!! You’re on Steen! I’ll see you at Spring Sacrifice!!!” Steen smirks as Bennett angrily makes his way backstage.Ranallo: ”High stakes indeed for Stu Bennett and Kevin Steen at Spring Sacrifce!!!”McGuinness: ”I can’t believe Stu Bennett would put his job at stake without some sort of plan!....Adam Cole w/ Dr. Britt Baker vs. Bobby LashleyThe bell sounds and just as this match is about to get under way, Piper Niven appears at ringside and takes out Britt Baker! Cole immediately rushes to break it up but Lashley follows him out. Niven clocks Cole with a right hand and Lashley rams Cole’s head into the ring apron before rolling him into the ring to officially start the match! Baker and Niven are escorted to the back by officials. Lashley hits multiple kicks to Cole before whipping him into the corner and charging at him with a clothesline. Cole staggers out of the corner and Lashley hits an overhead belly to belly. Lashley waits for Cole to get to his feet and goes for a spear but Cole leapfrogs sending Lashley shoulder first into the turnbuckle! Cole delivers a high knee to Lashley’s back, sending him into the turnbuckle again. Cole hits and impressive german suplex pin out of the corner but only gets a two count. Cole has decent offense for a while, keeping Lashley grounded. Cole sees an opportunity for the win and goes for the Panama Sunrise destroyer but Lashley counters it into an alabama slam! Cole’s head bounces off the match, Lashley hooks the leg but only a two count. Lashley picks Cole up in a bear hug and rams him into the corner followed by driving shoulders to the mid section followed by another overhead belly to belly. Lashley goes for the spear again and this time connects!! Lashley locks in the Hurt Lock full nelson on Cole! Cole has nowhere to go and the referee calls for the bell awarding Lashley the victory! After the match, The Young Bucks run out but Lashley floors them with a double clothesline. Then we see DIY come out as Lashley exits, DIY and Young Bucks fighting in the ring! Cole attacks DIY giving Bullet Club a 3 on 2 advantage until outcomes Prince Devitt and The Good Brothers! Cole and The Young Bucks escape just in time. Ranallo: ”These guys really can’t wait until Sunday to get this thing started! Chaos out here on Warfare! We come back from commercials and Ranallo and McGuinness run down the Spring Sacrifice card announcing that Dr Britt Baker versus Piper Niven has just been added to the card!
After this, the International Heavyweight Champion, Claudio Castagnoli arrives in the arena to a huge ovation! Castagnoli grabs a mic “It’s that time of the week again where I defend the International Championship in an open challenge. So anybody in the back want an opportunity of a lifetime or what?”.....
After a few moments of waiting, we hear some unfamiliar mexican theme music....it’s ‘El Idolo’ Andrade!!!!! The fans become unglued as Andrade makes his way down to the ring as ‘holy s**t’ chants echo throughout the arena!Ranallo: Mamma Mia!!! Andrade is in PWU!! He’s getting a shot at the International Championship on his first night!McGuinness: ”Talk about a step up in fortune for Andrade!! Wow!’El Idolo’ Andrade vs. Claudio Castagnoli (c) (PWU International Heavyweight Championship)Claudio offers his hand to Andrade for a handshake to start the match which is accepted but not for long as Andrade boots Castagnoli in the mid section repeatedly, whips him off the ropes and catches him with a beautiful dropkick! Castagnoli is sent crashing to the mat. He gets back to his feet, Claudio goes for a hiptoss but it’s blocked, punch to the gut by Andrade followed by a leg behind the head transition into a headscissors take over! Castagnoli down again as the fans seem to be warming to Andrade! Andrade catches Claudio with a jumping calf kick sending the champion down again! Andrade attempts a springboard arm drag but Castagnoli uses his power to pull Andrade off the rope and crashing down to the mat! Claudio hits a knee drop, followed by a deadlift gutwrench suplex! Claudio covers but only a two count. Claudio goes by Andrade’s legs for the swing but Andrade manages to wriggle out of it and goes to the outside. Suddenly from behind PAC appears out of nowhere and blindsides Andrade on the outside from behind! PAC mounts Andrade and hits him with a flurry of punches causing a DQ! PAC laughs and backs away slowly down the aisle staring at Castagnoli. Ranallo: ”What a bastard he is!! Not only has he cost Castagnoli the match here by DQ, he has cost us of what looked to be a great match!!”McGuinness: ”I’m gutted Mauro! That was going to be a hell of a match but that bastard PAC is trying to get into Castagnoli’s head before their big title match on Sunday! Castagnoli will be pissed off that he’s lost this match tonight even if it is by DQ!”
Up next, we see a video package explaining the rules of the Sacrifice cage match between CM Punk and Jon Moxley at Spring Sacrifice. The video explains that the cage surrounds the whole ring area but is open roofed. At the top of each side of the cage there is a dangerous element, an inferno on one side, barbed wire fence on another, thumbtacks and broken glass on the third side and finally electrical wiring on the fourth side. The only way to win is successfully pin your opponent or make them submit before ascending the cage to make your escape. It is this point where the competitor will choose their sacrifice meaning which dangerous element are they willing to sacrifice their body to and risk injury just to escape the cage. The first man to escape the cage, wins the match. Weapons will also be scattered around the cage area.Ranallo: ”Damn....that video makes me scared for the well being of both Moxley and Punk in that Sacrifice cage match on Sunday but I would be lying if I said I don’t wanna see it...”McGuinness: ”Well both of these men will put their bodies through anything to become number one contender for the PWU World Heavyweight Championship. Later tonight we will see both men face to face for the first time since Revolution!BB Crawford and Shotzi vs. Rhea Ripley and Lexi KaufmanInteresting match here with the champion BB Crawford facing her challenger Rhea Ripley in tag team action, three days before Spring Sacrifice! Crawford makes a beeline for Ripley at the bell, Crawford hots Ripley with a Lou Thesz press and rains hard forearms to Ripley’s face. BB lifts her up and plants her with a beautiful snap suplex, followed by a dropkick that sends Ripley into the turnbuckle! BB charges at Ripley and hits running knees to the gut followed by a bulldog! BB covers but only a two. BB tags in Shotzi and Shotzi hammers away on Ripley before going for a superkick but it’s ducked and Ripley clobbers Shotzi with a hard clothesline. Shotzi eats another clothesline before Ripley delivers a devastating bicycle kick knocking Shotzi senseless! Ripley covers but only a two count. Lexi Kaufman calls for a tag but Ripley just stares at her before continuing her offense. Ripley picks Shotzi up by her hair and drags her into the corner before connecting with hard chops right to the chest of Shotzi! BB tries to motivate Shotzi who is in trouble, but Ripley chokes Shotzi in the corner with her boot. Ripley drags her out of the corner and hits a delayed vertical suplex, nice display of power by Ripley. Ripley covers but BB breaks up the pinfall attempt. Yet again, Lexi calls for a tag but again Ripley ignores her. Ripley calls for the Riptide and sets Shotzi in position but as shes doing that, Lexi makes a blind tag! Ripley drops Shotzi but the referee orders Ripley out of the ring! Lexi goes to the top rope for the Twisted Moonsault but misses!!! Shotzi moves out of the way and makes the hot tag to BB Crawford! Crawford runs immediately to Ripley in the corner and dropkicks her off the apron sending her crashing into the barricade! Lexi tries to attack BB from behind but she sees it coming and Lexi is sent crashing into the corner. BB hits a nice release german suplex and follows up with the KOD! BB covers Lexi, 1.......2........3! The champion scores the win for her team! Shotzi gets into the ring and as both BB’s and Shotzi’s arms are raised, Ripley attacks them from behind! Ripley bicycle kicks Shotzi out of the ring and also throws Lexi out of the ring! Ripley locks BB Crawford in the Prism Trap! BB taps out but Ripley is relentless! It takes numerous officials to get Ripley to release the hold and in a repeat of last week, Ripley holds the PWU Women’s Championship above her head as the Detriot fans boo! Ranallo: ”Could this be the sight on Sunday? Ripley dominant again and leaves the champion laying!”McGuinness: ”Ripley had the match won until Lexi tagged herself in! What a title showdown we will see on Sunday, can’t wait for that one!”
Up next, we see AJ Styles doing final stretches before his match with Aleister. Styles is just finishing up until we see The Bullet Club approach him. Nick Jackson speaks first “Hey AJ! Whatsup man!?” AJ looks a little intimidated as Drew Galloway continues “Don’t worry AJ no need to be afraid. Just wanted to let you know that there is a spot open for you in the club if you want it. We admire your skills...” AJ cuts Drew off “Thanks Drew I appreciate that. Right now though, I wanna concentrate on my own career. I’ve been down this road before and for now I just wanna concentrate on me.” Drew smirks “Okay AJ that’s fine.....however just know that we are gonna be watching. If you destroy Aleister tonight, there’s a Bullet Club t shirt with your name on it. Just so you know, life could be too sweet for you if you change your mind.....you understand?” The Bullet Club walk away leaving AJ pondering his next move. Ranallo: ”The Bullet Club have offered AJ a chance to join their club!? You’ll remember that AJ helped shape The Bullet Club over in Japan.”McGuinness: ”To be honest Mauro, I think Drew was looking for a way for AJ to do his dirty work for him ahead of that huge triple threat match at Spring Sacrifice for the World Championship. If Aleister gets taken out, it increases Drew’s chances of retaining the title...”AJ Styles vs. AleisterBoth men go nose to nose at the bell, Aleister delivers quick kicks to the legs of AJ, tries to sweep his legs from under him but AJ jumps over it and hits Aleister with a kick of his own! Styles goes to work with quick forearms to the face, he whips Aleister off the ropes and catches Aleister with a nice hurricarana! AJ follows up with a jumping calf kick and covers but only a two count. Fast start to this match! Aleister follows this up and charges with a basement dropkick right into the face of Styles! Aleister connects with a standing moonsault followed by a jumping foot stomp but only gets a two count after a cover. Aleister locks Styles leg in a leg scissors but Styles fights out of it with elbows to the back of the head of Aleister. Aleister and Styles then both kick each other’s legs in turns in the middle of the ring, Styles then uses his quick strike combo with kicks and a backhand followed by a Pele kick attempt which is caught by Aleister, Aleister then locks in an STF! Styles is in agony as Aleister wrenches his neck. Styles eventually has enough strength to crawl to the ropes. Aleister delivers stiff kicks to AJ while he is on the mat, Aleister lifts Styles up and connects with a quick strike combo of his own followed by a northern lights suplex pin but only gets a two count! Aleister gets frustrated and waits for AJ to get to his knees before levelling him with two stiff kicks to the chest. Aleister goes for a third kick, this time to the head but AJ ducks and rolls him in a schoolboy pin, 1....2...no! Aleister kicks out. The two men get back to a vertical base and deliver stiff forearms to each other in turn before AJ surprises Aleister with an enziguiri to the back of the head. With Aleister down, AJ goes to the apron looking for the flying forearm. AJ waits for Aleister to get to his feet before he springs off the ropes but Aleister sees him coming and hits him with the Midnight Mass Kick in mid air!!! The crowd gasp as Styles is left in a heap on the mat! Aleister covers, 1.......2......3!! What a victory in this hard fought match! After the match, Aleister shakes AJ’s hand while AJ is still semi conscious on the mat! Ranallo: ”What a hard fought match! Aleister with another impressive win heading in to Sunday’s title match!”McGuinness: ”Well Aleister took AJ’s head off with that Midnight Mass kick to the face as Styles thought he was on the cusp of winning that match! Also, what about that handshake at the end huh? If you can call it that....”
After the match, Kayla is backstage with the PWU World Heavyweight Champion Drew Galloway for an interview. “Drew, you saw Bobby Lashley defeat Adam Cole earlier and you just saw Aleister defeat AJ Styles, you can’t be happy about that?” Drew snaps back “It doesn’t matter Kayla. It doesn’t matter because I am the world champion right now, and I’ll still be world champion after Spring Sacrifice. Aleister and Bobby Lashley thought they sent a message to me with their victories tonight but wait until they watch THE champion in action and they see what I have in store for Killer Kross later.....”Ranallo: ”The champion Drew Galloway confident going into his match later tonight. Is his confidence maybe a little misplaced considering he’s up against that monster Killer Kross tonight and he has to defend his title against Aleister and Bobby Lashley on Sunday?”McGuinness: ”I think he has every right to remain confident but he cannot become complacent. That man defeated three of the best to become the PWU World Champion in the first place, tonight he has to defeat a monster...”Ranallo: ”Well certainly that’s gonna be a.....
Before Ranallo can finish his sentence, the Xcite Champion Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager join the commentary team!Guevara: ”Heyyy Mario...hows it going? Don’t worry we’re here to show you guys how it’s done...”Ranallo: ”Well we’ve been joined by the Xcite Champion, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager and it’s Mauro by the way!!”Ricochet vs. Ortiz w/SantanaGuevara and Hager are on commentary to get a closer look at Guevara’s challenger at Spring Sacrifice. Ricochet brought the fight to them tonight and Hager has ended up amongst the tables below us!”McGuinness: ”Ricochet definitely brought the fight to them tonight! A good omen for Sunday. Even if Hager wasn’t banned from ringside, I’d very much doubt we’d see him Sunday anyway after that fall!”

We go to a commercial for Spring Sacrifice, this time showing us the build up towards Punk/Moxley in the Sacrifice Cage.
After the commercial, we see Jon Moxley and CM Punk on a split screen making their way towards the arena!
Stu Bennett is in the ring surrounded by a wall of security officers. Bennett has a mic in his hands “Ladies and gentlemen. I’ve decided to officiate this face off between Jon Moxley and CM Punk but I’ve hired these security officers so things don’t get too out of hand!” Stu Bennett introduces CM Punk who enters the arena to a mixed response. Punk shakes Bennett’s hand and we await the arrival of Jon Moxley. Moxley’s music hits and he makes his way through the crowd! Moxley looks pumped up, first time we’ve seen him in person since Revolution. Moxley rolls into the ring and makes a beeline for Punk but the security guards form a wall in the middle of the ring.
Punk asks for the microphone and speaks first. “Well Jon....nice of you to show up. On Sunday, we will go face to face in the most brutal match to date in the Sacrifice cage. I’m not gonna lie, this match is a little out of my comfort zone but it’s apt that I get to beat you in this Sacrifice cage. I think of all the sacrifices I’ve made in my career, all the roads I’ve travelled and the roads I’ve been down and it all leads to me to this match on Sunday where I become the number one contender to the PWU World Championship. I hope you’re ready Moxley because on Sunday it’ll be yet another disappointing moment in your career and you will be the first loser of the Sacrifice cage match.....but you’re used to that....being a loser, being an afterthought. Sunday, it’s no different.....”
Moxley shows little emotion and demands a mic. “Punk, all I’ve heard from you since Revolution is how you were robbed at Revolution blah blah. Fact is that I really enjoyed kicking your ass up and the down the arena at Revolution and this Sunday, I’m gonna do it again. I don’t think you realise how much this match favours me Punk, I’ve been a caged animal ever since I remember with all that intensity inside of me. It felt damn good to drive you off the stage and through those tables at Revolution and to see that blood trickle from your head. At Spring Sacrifice, you will bleed again but least you won’t need to worry about sacrificing your body to escape because I’m not going to give you the chance. I mean we could stand here and trade verbal insults all night but I prefer to do the talking with my hands...”
With that, Moxley dives over the wall of security on to Punk and Moxley smacks him in the head repeatedly with the microphone! Bennett climbs out of the ring and instructs the security to break it up!The fans go nuts as the security guards try to subdue Moxley but to no avail! Moxley and Punk brawl in the ring until finally the guards pin Moxley to the mat! Punk gets a few cheap shots in as Moxley is dragged out of the ring! Moxley stares at Punk as the guards drag Moxley away up the ramp!Ranallo: ”What’s gonna happen on Sunday when these two men are finally gonna be set loose on each other in that Sacrifice cage!? We’ll see you Sunday at Spring Sacrifice!!!”

Okay what has me interested is what you’re doing with AJ Styles. He’s not booked for the PPV and he’s losing matches to people who are bigger contenders than he is. Where does he go from here? I see youre kind of having Styles as a final obstacle for Black en route to the title, so that’s something.

25th April 2021The show starts with a video package with a narrator talking over it. “Spring is a time of joy, a time of new beginnings and new hope. Tonight these men and women (shows snippets of every wrestler on the card) will not only be looking to write a new chapter but also sacrificing themselves in the effort of doing so. Two men (showing Moxley and Punk) will sacrifice themselves inside a steel structure for a chance to become champion in the near future. Some men are sacrificing their job (shows Stu Bennett) just to fight off a threat from a rebel (shows Kevin Steen). Some of our stars will be sacrificing championships (showing BB Crawford, Drew Galloway, Claudio Castagnoli, Sammy Guevara and DIY) to prove their dominance as they are under threat by new challengers. How far are these men and women willing to go tonight to sacrifice their body and souls....Tonight, sacrifices will be made and careers and lives shaped....forever.”
Pyro explodes throughout the PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC as Spring Sacrifice is under way!Ranallo: ”Welcome to Spring Sacrifice!! I can’t wait any longer, let’s do it!!”The match starts off with Nick Jackson and Tommaso Witney. The two men tie up with Witney with a go behind followed by a waist lock takedown. Nick manages to counter the waist lock with a drop toe hold into a headlock. Witney uses his strength and lifts Nick before throwing him forward, Nick landing on his ass! The two tie up again and this time Witney backs Nick into the corner. The ref looks for a clean break but Nick slaps Witney hard in the face and follows up with a clothesline from behind knocking Witney to the mat! Nick shows his aggression with numerous stomps followed by a quick leg drop, Nick covers but only a two. Nick takes control of the match and whips Witney into the corner. Nick hits a running dropkick, followed by a monkey flip attempt but Witney lands on his feet and follows up with a huge lariat sending Nick Jackson crashing down hard! Witney gets the tag to Gargano! Gargano hits a series jumping calf kicks to Nick before picking him up and hitting a snap suplex. Gargano covers but only a two count! Gargano picks Nick up and hoists him on his shoulders for what looks like a lawn dart in the corner attempt but Nick counters and pushes Gargano in the corner with impact and follows up with a poisonrana! Devitt and The Good Brothers want The Bullet Club in the Battleground match at the Battleground pay-per-view!”McGuinness: ”We can expect a war if Bullet Club accept their challenge. Those two teams inside a cage with anything goes rules, that’ll be a battle for the ages...”Ranallo: ”Well talking of cages......up next is the main event, the first ever Sacrifice Cage Match here in PWU. It’s CM Punk versus Jon Moxley, with the winner being named the number one contender to the PWU World Championship. This rivalry has got personal, let’s show you the history between these two men so far in PWU!”
We see a video package that highlights the history between Moxley/Punk in PWU including Punk’s debut on the first Warfare, the wars of words, the physical brawls between them and the match at Revolution. We then see footage from last weeks Warfare with the two brawling amongst security. After this, the video package goes into explaining the rules of this upcoming match. The package ends with “which of these men will make the bigger sacrifice for their shot at glory?..”
Mauro Ranallo then runs down the rules on commentary:
1. The ring is surrounded by a huge steel cage without a roof.
2. Around the top of each side of the cage is a dangerous element. One side has barbed wire, second side has an inferno, third side has tacks and broken glass, fourth side has electrical fencing.
3. Someone must gain a pinfall or submission before attempting to escape the sacrifice cage. A wrestler must climb over the top sacrificing their body to escape the structure.
4. Once a wrestler has tried to escape the structure via a particular side, he can no longer use that side to escape the cage unless he has already tried unsuccessfully to escape all four sides.
5. The winner is the first man to gain a pinfall or submission and successfully navigate their exit from the cage over the top choosing their ‘sacrifice’.
6. There are no rules and weapons are placed around the ringside area.
McGuinness: ”Here you can see the structure being lowered around the ring, that barbed wire on one side that will tear through flesh. The inferno will be activated once the structure is fully lowered and surrounding the ring, the electrical wire which will shock these guys potentially throwing them from the cage and the tacks and broken glass which will pierce and cut skin. This is going to be brutal!”
The inferno on top of the cage is lit and Justin Roberts begins the announcements. CM Punk enters first and the crowd give a mostly positive reaction with large sections breaking out into CM Punk chants. Jon Moxley enters second in street attire and he makes his way to the ring through the crowd with a big ovation. The crowd seem very split in this match.Moxley shuts the cage door behind him and rolls into the ring and Punk attacks immediately as the bell sounds! Punk stomps away quickly but Moxley takes down Punk and hammers away with fast punches to the head. Moxley hits Punk with stiff stomps to the face before picking him up and throwing him to the outside through the middle rope. Moxley straight away whips Punk into the steel fence of the cage! Moxley squashes Punk’s face against the cage wall before trying to ram him into the ring post but Punk blocks it and sends Moxley crashing into the side of the cage! Punk then grabs a steel chair and rolls Moxley into the ring. Punk then hits Moxley in the ribs with the chair before smashing the chair against Moxley’s back! Punk goes for a cover but only a two count! Punk then climbs to the top rope with the chair in hand and places it under his elbow before jumping off with an elbow drop, the chair bouncing off Moxley’s face! Punk covers, 1.........2........3!! Punk gets a fall, meaning Punk can now attempt to exit the cage. Punk rolls out of the ring and chooses the side where the thumb tacks and broken glass is. Punk scales the cage wall and gets approximately half way up but Moxley manages to roll out of the ring and shake the cage causing Punk to fall down! Moxley takes Punk down by the legs and hits him repeatedly with punches. Moxley picks Punk up and again rams his head into the cage before hitting a suplex on the outside! Moxley looks for another weapon and finds a barbed wire baseball bat! Moxley rolls Punk into the ring and brings the bat with him. Moxley picks Punk up and hits a Russian leg sweep using the barbed wire bat. Moxley goes for a cover but only gets a two count! Moxley sees the chair that Punk brought into the match earlier and sets it up. Moxley drags Punk near the chair and sets up for the Paradigm Shift onto the chair but Punk counters with a northern lights suplex to Moxley on the chair! Punk covers but only gets a two count. Punk rolls to the outside and pulls out a table from underneath the ring! Punk tries to place it in the ring but Moxley gets to his feet and delivers a baseball slide sending the table crashing in to Punk and Punk crashes into the cage wall! Moxley sets the table up on the outside of the ring and places Punk on to it followed by a few right hands. Moxley starts climbing the cage! The fans are a little confused as to why as he hasn’t gained a fall/submission yet. Moxley gets half way up and then just jumps back turning in mid air for a huge body splash through Punk through the table!!!! The fans become unglued and as Moxley chant breaks out! After a few moments, Moxley starts to move. Moxley drags Punk’s unconscious body into the ring and hooks the leg, 1........2......3!! Moxley gets a fall! Moxley rolls out of the ring still feeling the affects from that dive a moment ago. Moxley tries to escape on the barbed wire side. Moxley scales the cage taking his time, meanwhile Punk is stirring in the ring. Punk rolls out the ring still dazed, picks up a chair and throws it at Moxley in a desperate attempt! The chair hits Moxley’s leg and Moxley slips off the cage wall landing badly on his knee. Punk zeros in on this and hits Moxley repeatedly in the leg with a steel chair!! Punk rolls Moxley in and picks up the barbed wire bat! Punk scrapes the bat against Moxley’s knee, tearing at his jeans causing the leg to start bleeding! Punk then uses the bat and locks in a version of the Anaconda Vice using the barbed wire bat! Moxley with nowhere to go and the referee calls that as a submission win for Punk! Punk again climbs out of the ring but this time chooses to escape up the side where the electrical fence is on top! Punk looks like he has this match won as he scales the cage and gets to the top, Moxley hobbling slowly after him! Punk puts his hand on the top to get leverage to push himself up but the electric fence activates causing Punk to shock himself!! Punk falls a bit before managing to hold on to the middle of the cage. Punk hanging off the middle of the cage, Moxley smacks Punk in the back with a chair causing him to completely fall off the cage!!! Punk falls hard to the outside with Moxley hobbling around, a gash in the side of his leg. Moxley brings Punk back into the ring and ties him up in the ropes! Moxley takes the barbed wire bat and hits Punk three times in the ribs! Punk in a world of hurt, Moxley unties him then hits him with a Paradigm Shift! Moxley covers, 1.........2.........3!! Moxley with another pinfall! Moxley goes for the escape on the side where the tacks and glass is. Moxley struggles with his leg trying to escape but Moxley’s leg gives out causing him to slide down the cage wall meaning an unsuccessful escape attempt. Punk favouring his ribs heads to the outside and kicks away at Moxley’s leg before rolling him back into the ring. Punk grabs Moxley’s legs and looks for a sharpshooter but Moxley musters the strength to kick Punk away. Moxley gets to his feet and clobbers Punk with a desperation clothesline. Moxley gets some momentum and whips Punk into the corner. Moxley charges at Punk with a clothesline followed by a bulldog. Moxley covers but only a two count! Moxley picks Punk up and tries to hit the Paradigm Shift on the steel chair but Punk blocks it ad hits a huge kick to the side of Moxley’s head! Punk then looks at the chair and then glances at Moxley and Punk traps Moxley’s head in the chair! Punk lifts Moxley up on his shoulders and hits the GTS with Moxley’s head trapped in the chair!!! Punk covers, 1.........2.........3!!! Punk heads to the outside and stares up at the inferno on top of the cage! Punk begins scaling the inferno side of the cage and Moxley starts to move in the ring. Punk looks nervous about trying to scale the cage and hesitates slightly. Moxley takes advantage of this and gets to the outside, somehow hobbling up the cage! Moxley eventually catches up with Punk and the two men battle half way up the cage! They throw punches at each other and Punk continues his ascension up the cage. Punk goes near the fire, but Moxley also fights with him towards the top! Punk knocks Moxley down a few steps and Punk climbs over the fire wall but Punk is alight! Punk’s leg is alight, Moxley gets back to the top and climbs over the fire successfully while Punk starts to descend to the outside while his leg is on fire! Punk on fire half way down while hanging on the top, Moxley stamps on Punk’s hand causing him to crash through the announce table below!! The bell sounds and officials rush with fire extinguishers to put Punk’s leg out!! Justin Roberts announces CM Punk as the winner!! Ranallo: ”Well Punk has won the match! Punk has escaped the cage with a little help from Moxley! CM Punk will get a shot at the PWU World Championship in the near future!”McGuinness: ”That was the wildest thing I’ve seen in my career....what a brutal match!”Moxley collapses to the mat below and sits there holding his wounds as Punk is out of it underneath debris from the announcers table! Ranallo: ”What carnage we’ve seen tonight! Both men nursing their battle scars! CM Punk is the number one contender but at what cost!! Goodnight everybody!”

April 29th 2021Warfare opens up with still images from the matches at Spring Sacrifice ending with a shot of CM Punk under the announce table after falling through it to win the Sacrifice cage match to become the number one contender for the World Championship.Ranallo: ”Welcome to Warfare! We are four days removed from Spring Sacrifice and what a show we have tonight! We have NWA World Champion Nick Aldis making his PWU debut tonight taking on Frankie Kazarian, plus we’ll hear from CM Punk, Claudio Castagnoli’s open challenge but first we’re opening up with Stu Bennett!”
GM Stu Bennett enters the arena with Sha Samuels and Nick Aldis. The fans boo as Bennett takes the microphone. “I’d like to formally introduce you to my friend, the newest signing for PWU and the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Nick Aldis!” The fans boo as Aldis holds his title belt up in the air. “Now, we will see this man in action later tonight but first I’d like to thank him for his help on Sunday, and I can now rest easy knowing that Kevin Steen will never be a world champion while I’m running the show. Now then, I’m out here to talk business. So.....” before Bennett can finish we hear Jon Moxley’s music hit! Moxley hobbles through the crowd, showing his injuries have taken a toll on him from Sunday. Jon Moxley rolls into the ring and demands a microphone. “I hate to break up this love fest but I can’t sit back there and listen to this s**t anymore. I’ve been busy the last few weeks with all my attention on CM Punk but I’ve kept an eye on what you’ve been doing Bennett and I don’t like it. You come out here acting like you are into the spirit of competition but all you do is keep screwing guys out of matches. Now on Sunday, Punk got me. Hate to admit it but Punk got one over on me and he is one tough bastard. I’ll win the PWU World Championship later on but for now my attention is here.” Nick Aldis interjects “Who the hell do you think you are!? I’m the NWA World Champion and he (talking about Bennett) is your general manager! Have some respect!! Now simmer down before I knock you down” Aldis gets into Moxley’s face but Moxley takes down Aldis! Very quickly it turns into a beat down as Sha Samuels hammers away on Moxley. Samuels hits a fall forward powerslam to Moxley before Aldis takes Moxley’s legs and locks him in the Cloverleaf!! Aldis further injures Moxley’s leg and the three men leave with grins on their faces.McGuinness: ”Nick Aldis making a huge statement here on Warfare! Aldis just took out Moxley with a little help from Sha Samuels!”AJ Styles vs. Kip SabianThis one starts out with both men just trying to feel each other out, trying to one up each other. They tie up, Sabian goes behind Styles and goes for a waist lock take down but Styles counters with a roll through that gets a two count. Styles hits a series of dropkicks followed by a series of strikes knocking down Sabian after a Pele kick. Styles takes control and sets up for the Styles Clash! With Sabian in position suddenly we hear a voice from the stage.... It’s Aleister! Aleister, Killer Kross and Adam Scherr appear on the stage with Aleister holding a microphone. AJ releases Sabian and heads towards the ropes staring at Aleister. “AJ AJ.....don’t worry! We’re not here to harm you, we just want you to join The Anarchy!”Aleister sits cross legged on the stage as AJ looks confused, Sabian goes for a roll up, 1.........2........no AJ kicks out!! AJ nails Sabian with a hard kick to the head knocking him down. AJ follows up with a flying forearm right to the face of Sabian, AJ covers 1........2.......3!!! AJ Styles gets the win as Aleister looks on with a grin on his face. AJ looks up to the stage still confused as Aleister and his henchmen go back to the locker room. Ranallo: “What was that!? Was.....Aleister just scouting AJ Styles? We saw that handshake last week...”McGuinness: ”I’m not sure what is going on here! Seemingly Aleister has some sort of interest in AJ Styles?”
We go backstage and we see The Bullet Club arrive! All of the members looking pleased with themselves after a clean sweep at Spring Sacrifice.
Up next, Claudio Castagnoli is in the ring with a mic. “Once again, it’s that time of the week where I show the wrestling world why I am THE premier athlete in sports entertainment. It’s time for the open challenge! Now, who’s gonna try and make a name for themselves tonight and try to take my International Championship from me?...”
After a few moments of waiting, it’s the ‘Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne! Dunne making his first appearance in PWU!Pete Dunne vs. Claudio Castagnoli (PWU International Championship)The match starts out with a nice chain wrestling encounter between the two men ending with Pete Dunne applying a headlock but Castagnoli lifts Dunne in the air and throws him to the mat! Castagnoli whips Dunne into the corner and charges at him with a clothesline then hits a series of corner clotheslines to Dunne! Claudio then delivers a nice snap suplex, covers but only a two count. Claudio goes by the legs for the big swing but Dunne kicks Claudio away and then trips him with a drop toe hold into a chin lock. Dunne stretches the face of Castagnoli and follows with a rake in the eyes. Aggressive offense from Pete Dunne. Dunne then stomps away on Castagnoli. Dunne picks Claudio up goes for a clothesline which is ducked, he then flips himself over Claudio using the turnbuckle and follows up with a standing enziguri! Castagnoli is sent to the mat and Dunne follows up with a huge roundhouse kick, Dunne covers, 1......2.....no! Close to having a new champion there! Dunne then hits a double foot stomp onto the chest of Claudio before locking in a triangle choke! Claudio seems to be in trouble but he uses his strength to lift Dunne off the canvas while still in the hold and slams Dunne to the mat with a powerbomb! Claudio lifts Dunne off the mat and delivers a series of gutwrench suplexes! He waits for Dunne to get to his feet before hitting a springboard European uppercut off the middle rope. Claudio covers but only gets a two count! Castagnoli goes for the Neutraliser but Dunne counters with a back body drop. Dunne then catches Claudio coming at him with an elbow smash and the two begin to trade elbow smashes and European uppercuts. Dunne catches Claudio’s hand and executes a finger snap! Claudio holds his hand in pain as Dunne hits a huge roundhouse kick to the back of the head! With Claudio staggering, Dunne hits an X Plex and covers but only a two count! Dunne waits for Claudio and tries to set up for the Bitter End but Castagnoli counters in mid air with a DDT! Castagnoli grabs Dunne by the waist and executes a dead lift german suplex! Claudio calls for the big swing and delivers it, swinging Dunne around 10 times by his legs. Claudio finishes by locking in the Sharpshooter in which Dunne eventually taps out! After the match, Claudio helps Dunne back to his feet and the two exchange a handshake in a display of sportsmanship. Ranallo: ”Claudio Castagnoli STILL the International Champion! What a week it’s been for him and a nice show of sportsmanship there at the end of what was a great match!”McGuinness: ”Indeed Mauro a great match and Castagnoli is still the champion! Who is going to be the one to take this title from him, if anyone can?”Ranallo: ”That’s a good question Nigel maybe we’ll find out at our next pay per view on June 27th, Battleground!! We saw The Bullet Club arrive earlier tonight, will they respond to the challenge from Prince Devitt regarding the Battleground match at the Pay Per View?”
We go backstage to Stu Bennett’s office when Aleister and his henchmen enter! “Hey Stu.....it’s been a while since we spoke. I’m guessing you saw the ending of the triple threat match on Sunday?....” Stu looks perplexed “I did indeed....” Aleister responds “Well then you’ll understand why I’m here. It was my move that knocked Bobby Lashley senseless on Sunday and Galloway stole the win. So I want a one on one title match with Drew Galloway next week on Warfare! What do you say?” Bennett thinks for a moment “You have a point Aleister, I mean had Galloway not shoved you away, you’d be standing here as champion right now. So me being the fair man I am, I accept that proposal. Next week it’ll be Championship Warfare, Aleister versus Drew Galloway for the PWU World Heavyweight Championship!” Aleister smirks “I figured you’d see it my way....after all I wouldn’t wanna unleash the anarchy on the rest of PWU now....would i?” Aleister leaves the locker room with Bennett looking a little concerned.Ranallo: ”Wow how about that!? Next week for the first time in PWU, the World Championship will be on the line when Drew Galloway defends against Aleister one on one!”McGuinness: ”That’s a huge match announced for next week! Galloway and the rest of The Bullet Club can’t be happy about that!!”Lexi Kaufman vs. Rhea RipleyThis match taking place due to what happened in the tag match on last week’s episode of Warfare. Kaufman tries to strike Ripley early with a flurry of punches and forearms to the face. Kaufman whips Ripley off the ropes, a clothesline attempt ducked and Ripley boots Lexi right in the face! Ripley lifts Lexi off the mat with a two handed choke and hoists her in the air before slamming her into the canvas. Ripley covers but only a two. Ripley continues to dominate until Ripley charges at Kaufman in the corner but Lexi moves out of the way! Lexi drives her shoulders into Ripley before setting her up on the top rope. Lexi hits a big suplex from the top rope! Lexi covers but only gets a two count! Lexi hits a standing moonsault and covers but again only a two count. Lexi drags Ripley to the corner in a seated position. Lexi goes for the double knees to the face but Ripley gets a foot up, booting Lexi right in the mid-drift! Ripley takes advantage and attacks with knee strikes to the face followed by a neck breaker! Ripley then sets Kaufman up for the Riptide pump handle drop and connects!! Ripley hooks the legs, 1.......2.......3! Ranallo: ”Ripley pretty dominant tonight! Lexi felt the anger that Ripley must be feeling after that disappointing result against BB Crawford on Sunday!”McGuinness: ”I wouldn’t be surprised if Ripley was granted a rematch for the title in the near future, possibly at Battleground?”
We go backstage where AJ Styles is packing up his gear in the locker room. We see Prince Devitt enter the room. “Hey AJ what’s up man?” AJ grins and the two men embrace. AJ responds “Good to see you Prince.” Devitt asks AJ “Good to see you too. I gotta ask though, what’s the deal with Aleister? I mean last week he’s giving you a handshake, tonight he’s watching your match and asking you to join ‘The Anarchy’ whatever the hell that is. Not only that, Drew Galloway asked you if you wanted a spot in The Bullet Club last week! Is everything okay with you dude?” AJ scoffs “Yeah everything is fine Prince. I have no idea what Aleister is doing and as for The Bullet Club, that ship sailed years ago.” Prince smirks “Well just so you know, you’re more than welcome to join us in the fight against them. Myself, Karl and Doc are here if you need us. Remember if you wanna stand with us....the door’s open.” Devitt leaves the locker room and AJ just stands there with a smirk before continuing to pack up his stuff.Ranallo: ”AJ Styles a man in demand at the moment! He has had offers from both the current Bullet Club and the OG Bullet Club to join them? Let alone with whatever Aleister is offering....”McGuinness: ”I think AJ just needs some time to focus on his own career! He hasn’t had the best time so far in PWU, his win loss record isn’t great but saying that, he did pick up the win tonight! Who knows what’s going through AJ’s head right now?”Nick Aldis (NWA World Champion) vs. Frankie KazarianThe debut of Nick Aldis in PWU! Aldis attacks Kazarian at the bell with a big boot! Aldis doesn’t let up and hammers away with clubbing blows before hitting a backbreaker. Aldis looks in control, locking in a body scissors to Kazarian which takes it’s toll. Aldis whips Kazarian into the corner and charges but Kazarian gets the feet up into Aldis’ face! Kazarian then hits a nice running bulldog to Aldis. Kazarian gains some momentum and tries to keep Aldis grounded with a series of elbow drops. Kazarian hits a nice springboard leg drop which only gets him a two count! Kazarian goes for the TKO but Aldis reverses into a reverse DDT! Aldis takes over again and catches Kazarian with a big boot followed by a front slam! Aldis heads to the top rope and connects with a beautiful elbow drop! Aldis goes by the legs and locks in the Cloverleaf!! Kazarian tries to hang on but it’s too much and Nick Aldis picks up a fairly comfortable win on his debut! Aldis poses with his title, but Jon Moxley hobbles over the barricade armed with a barbed wire bat!! Moxley climbs into the ring but Aldis is too quick and leaves through the other side of the ring! Moxley invites Aldis to get into the ring but Aldis continues to head towards the back. Ranallo: ”Moxley wanted some revenge against Aldis after that beating he took earlier tonight!”McGuinness: ”Aldis needs to thank his lucky stars that Moxley is less than one hundred percent or else his stint here in PWU could of been a very short one!!”
We go to a promo for the next pay per view, Battleground on June 27th!
We come back and CM Punk enters the arena! Punk involved in that brutal Sacrifice cage match still limping after suffering burns to his leg in his attempt to escape the cage. ‘CM Punk’ chants echo throughout the arena as Punk takes the microphone. “Last night I proved to the world why I deserve to be PWU World Champion. I put my body on the line and made the Sacrifice of being set alight all in the name of a PWU World Title shot. I also did what I said I’d do and defeat Jon Moxley and knock him down to his rightful position in this company, upper midcard at best. Now I have a decision to make in terms of when do I use my shot at the title? Well I’m challenging the winner of the title match next week to a match at Battleground! So either I’m gonna face Aleister, y’know the guy with dimmed lighting and talks in riddles which apparently makes him intimidating, or I face Drew Galloway who has put together a piss poor excuse of a stable that once dominated the wrestling world like just under a decade ago. One thing I do know, is that The Summer of Punk will return to PWU and this time there will be no bulls**t with cash ins, has-beens costing me matches or anything else, it’ll just be me standing before you all as your new PWU World Champion....” Punk throws the mic down as his music plays with cheers echoing around the arena. Punk motions that he’s gonna be the new champion before he leaves.Ranallo: ”CM Punk sending a clear message to the PWU World Champion! Punk will face either Aleister or Drew Galloway at Battleground on June 27th for the World Championship!”’The Spanish God’ Sammy Guevara vs. Senshi (non title match)The Xcite champion in action against a veteran of the game, Senshi! This one starts at a lightning pace with many counters between the two men ending with Senshi taking control with a jumping enziguri kick to the back of Sammy’s head! Senshi waits for Guevara to get to his feet and Senshi delivers a spring board dropkick knocking down the champion! Senshi hits a standing moonsault and goes for the cover but only a two count. Senshi continues to strike Guevara with hard kicks in the corner before setting him up on the top rope. Senshi goes for a hurricarana but Guevera counters into a sit-out powerbomb from the second rope changing the complexion of this match! Guevara takes over on offense and hits Senshi with a nice delayed vertical suplex. Sammy covers but only a two count! Sammy then measures Senshi for the spring board cutter, but Senshi scouts it well and catches Guevara coming up with a diving reverse DDT! Huge impact, Senshi covers but only a two count. Senshi picks Guevara up and whips him into the corner and delivers a handspring kick right to the side of the head of Guevara! The champion is knocked senseless. Senshi waits for Guevara to get to his feet and goes for another kick but Guevara catches it and sweeps the legs into a pin with a bridge, 1.........2......no! Senshi kicks out! Guevara catches Senshi coming back at him with a huge lariat knocking Senshi inside out. Guevara waits again for Senshi to get to his feet and this time connects with the springboard cutter but only a two count! Guevara puts the boots to Senshi before dragging him to the corner. Guevara goes for the shooting star press and connects!! Guevara hooks the leg, 1.......2.......3! What a victory for Sammy Guevara! Guevara celebrates his win, holding up his Xcite title above his head as he heads to the back but he is attacked from behind by Kevin Steen!! Ranallo: ”What the hell Kevin Steen!? What business does he have with Sammy Guevara!?”Steen continues his assault and delivers a powerbomb to Guevara on to the ring apron! Steen enters the ring and demands a microphone. “As I can no longer challenge for the World or International titles....I guess that leaves me only one option doesn’t it Sammy? I want your Xcite Championship....and I’m gonna take it.” Steen throws the microphone onto Guevara before heading up towards the back with Guevara favouring his back!McGuinness: ”Kevin Steen is back with a vengeance....and he wants Sammy Guevara’s Xcite Championship! Stu Bennett will be furious!”
We go backstage where all five members of The Bullet Club are on their way to the ring!
When we come back from commercials, The Bullet Club make their way down to the ring led by Drew Galloway. The Club enter the ring and Galloway takes the microphone. “What a few days we have had! I mean honestly, nobody thought that at Spring Sacrifice, The Bullet Club would reign supreme and win all their matches! We started off with Nick and Matt beating DIY, solidifying them as the greatest tag team in wrestling today!! (The fans boo as The Young Bucks raise their titles above their heads) We then saw Britt Baker defeat Piper Niven on pay per view, we saw Adam Cole baybayy knock the hell out of Prince Devitt and then....oh and then......it was the cherry on top of the cake as I defeated Bobby Lashley and Aleister to retain my title! Now next week, I have to defend my title once again against Aleister. Now, am I pissed off about this? Yes. Am I worried? No. I already beat him on Sunday and history will repeat itself next week as I put Aleister out of commission and I retain my title. We have business to attend to though as I understand Prince Devitt has challenged us to a Battleground match at the Battleground pay per view. Well Devitt, we accept! We know that we can beat you and The Good Brothers, besides there’s only three of you but there’s five of us. I might need to pull double duty as I will be defending my title against Punk but if I need to do that, I will for the good of the Club! So at Battleground, you three will face the four of us! You must have a death wish cos you will be facing an easy execution courtesy of The Bullet Club! Now let’s get the hell out of here...” The Bullet Club go to leave but Prince Devitt comes out with The Good Brothers!!
“Whoa hold your horses there Drew. We’re glad you accept because we are going to show you why the original Bullet Club is the ONLY Bullet Club that matters! That reminds me......you won’t be facing the three of us at Battleground. We have our fourth member and you guys know him quite well.....”
The Bullet Club look confused as Kenny Omega’s music hits!!!!! Omega is back!! Kenny Omega stands next to Prince Devitt and The Good Brothers and the four men make their way down to the ring! All eight men face off in the ring and very quickly it turns in to a brawl! All eight men brawling in the ring, Omega hitting anything that moves!!Ranallo: ”Kenny Omega is back!! and revenge is on his mind in the Battleground Match!!!

I love Senshi, obviously, so seeing him come up short against a champion isn’t fun, but at least he’s in there. Also never knew Guevara was called “The Spanish God”, nice use of that.

I love Senshi, obviously, so seeing him come up short against a champion isn’t fun, but at least he’s in there. Also never knew Guevara was called “The Spanish God”, nice use of that. The roster is stacked, meaning I struggle when it comes to booking losers as everyone is a credible wrestler. Senshi is great and has been around a long time so I see Guevara going over as a good way to get Guevara over as a credible champion. He’s got Steen after his title now though which will be something different.

No, for sure. I have the same problem, in fact I'm worried that at some point somebody's going to have gone through the entire roster and run out of challengers because everybody's so good that anybody can win, even multiple times in a row, so I'm with you on that.

6th May 2021The camera pans around the Petersen Events Centre in Pittsburgh, PA for a very special edition of Warfare as pyro goes off! Mauro Ranallo opens up the show.Ranallo: ”Welcome to Championship Warfare!!! Tonight, the PWU World Championship will be on the line when Aleister challenges Drew Galloway!!”McGuinness: ”A huge match there, plus the Women’s Championship in a rematch from Spring Sacrifice between BB Crawford and Rhea Ripley, Claudio Castagnoli’s open challenge for the PWU International Championship! We’re kicking off though with a tag team battle royal, the winners will challenge The Young Bucks later tonight! Let’s get to it!”Tag Team Battle Royal (Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, SCU, DIY, Good Brothers, Kross and Scherr, Gunn Club, Jake Hager and Sammy Guevara, Ricochet and Keith Lee)The battle royal kicks off, mass brawling in the ring with all eight teams. Debut of the Gunn Club in this match, Austin and Colten as well as Ricochet and Keith Lee debuting as a team! The first elimination is Cedric and Shelton as Adam Scherr throws out Cedric with a gorilla press! Out next is the Gunn Club! Doc Gallows of the Good Brothers clotheslines Austin out of the ring. Six teams left and the fight continues. Next team eliminated is the Inner Circle’s Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager as Kevin Steen runs down to the ring! Steen slides into the ring and takes down Guevara followed by punches! Hager is occupied with Keith Lee, and Steen superkicks Guevara out and over the top rope! Steen high tails it out of there as Hager realises what happened to his partner. Five teams remain!! Keith Lee and Ricochet are the next team eliminated, Ricochet goes to the top rope to hit a diving hurricarana onto Killer Kross but Kross catches Ricochet in a powerbomb position and Ricochet is dumped to the outside! A double elimination occurs next as The Good Brothers and Kross and Scherr take each other out of the match!! Doc Gallows and Scherr both go over the top rope after a clothesline! The two teams brawl with each other all the way to the back! Two teams remain SCU and DIY! Both teams battle it out for several minutes, a back and forth encounter. In the closing moments, Witney tries to clothesline Kazarian out of the ring but both men land on the apron! Both men trade punches on the apron but Gargano superkicks Kazarian to the jaw but Kazarian somehow hangs on! Daniels then out of nowhere superkicks Witney to the face and Witney falls to the outside! SCU get the title match later! Gargano can’t believe it as SCU celebrate in the ring! The Young Bucks appear on the stage and hold up their tag team title belts, the SCU motion that they are gonna take the titles later tonight. Ranallo: ”Congratulations to SCU, Daniels and Kazarian with a huge opportunity later tonight to dethrone The Young Bucks!”
We go backstage where we see Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager in the office of Stu Bennett. “You see what Steen did to us out there! Why is he even coming for my title, he’s too fat to challenge me!” Bennett tries to calm Guevara down “Sammy, I’m sorry about what happened and trust me Steen will have to earn any title match against you. Unfortunately though, there is no weight limit in the Xcite division meaning he could challenge you.” Sammy looks annoyed “So he can just challenge me now!? We’re letting anybody fight for my title, hell I may as well do an open challenge too then!” Bennett looks at Guevara “Look Sammy, for Steen to gain a shot at your title, next week Kevin Steen will face Jake Hager. We both know that Steen won’t survive that and if Steen loses, then he will not be challenging for your title.” Sammy looks slightly happier as Hager smirks.
Up next we see the International Champion, Claudio Castagnoli enter the arena to a huge ovation. ‘Castagnoli’ chants break out as Castagnoli grabs a microphone. “Thanks guys appreciate it. It’s that timeeee of the week again where I cement my claim as the greatest pro wrestler in the world and successfully defend my International Championship! So come on out here and make a name for yourself....” after waiting a few moments, Nick Aldis music hits!!! The NWA World Champion could be a double champion tonight!Ranallo: ”Nothing says championship warfare better than two champions facing each other! This should be awesome!”McGuinness: ”I don’t think Castagnoli was expecting somebody who is already a World Champion to challenge him!”Nick Aldis vs. Claudio Castagnoli (c) - (PWU International Championship)The match starts with both men locking up, Castagnoli with a go behind followed by a waistlock takedown. Aldis and Claudio hit each other with a double clothesline and both men are down again. Aldis gets to his feet first and charges with a clothesline. Aldis picks Claudio up and hits a fall forward slam near the ropes. Aldis goes up to the top rope for the elbow drop but Jon Moxley appears! Moxley runs down to ringside and gets on the ring apron causing Aldis to climb down from the top rope. Aldis charges but Moxley climbs down from the apron. This distraction allows Castagnoli to get a schoolboy roll up on Aldis, 1........2.........3!! Aldis is furious!! Moxley backs away up the aisle as Castagnoli leaves the ring area with his title reign still in tact! Ranallo: ”Moxley just outsmarted Nick Aldis and Claudio Castagnoli has pinned the NWA World Champion to retain his title!”McGuinness: ”A huge feather in the cap of Claudio Castagnoli! Still the International Champion with a little help from Jon Moxley!”
We see a promo video for the PWU Battleground on June 27th!
When we come back we see Bobby Lashley backstage talking to Shelton Benjamin. Lashley is interrupted by Matt Riddle! “Brooo....just wanted to ask you what it’s like to be here at Championship Warfare but not actually holding a title after being so close to winning the World Championship? I’m sorry you lost dude....” Lashley looks furious and knocks Riddle to the concrete! Lashley picks him up and throws him into a wall! Lashley walks off and Shelton Benjamin shakes his head and walks away.Ranallo: ”Well...not quite sure what Matt Riddle was thinking there getting on the wrong side of Bobby Lashley who has been in a foul mood since losing at Spring Sacrifice!”McGuinness: ”Well I think Riddle may keep his thoughts to himself now after that beating from Lashley!”Rhea Ripley vs. BB Crawford (c) - (PWU Women’s Championship)These two women start the match face to face with Ripley pie facing Crawford away twice. Ripley stays on offence and lifts Crawford up and executes a nice vertical suplex. Ripley using her power there. Ripley covers but an early two count. Ripley stalks BB as she tries to make it to her feet but Ripley drives her leg into BB’s ribs before hitting her with a hard slam. Security arrive to get this unknown masked woman out of the ring but the damage is done and BB Crawford retains her women’s championship by DQ! Ranallo: ”Who the hell was that!? Whoever it was just attacked both Rhea Ripley and the women’s champion BB Crawford!”McGuinness: ”Hopefully that woman will be prosecuted, we have no idea who she is and shes ruined a very good match!”
We go backstage where Kayla is standing by with the PWU World Heavyweight Champion, Drew Galloway. She asks him if any nerves are creeping in ahead of his title defence against Aleister later tonight. Drew responds “Why would I be nervous? I beat Aleister and Bobby Lashley at the same time at Spring Sacrifice. Tonight it’s just Aleister. You should be asking Aleister if he’s nervous about facing me! I’m the leader of The Bullet Club, the most dominant group in professional wrestling today and the World Heavyweight Champion. That’s exactly how it’s gonna remain heading in to Battleground. As for you CM Punk, you better keep your nose out of this one and we will deal with you at Battleground.”Bobby Lashley vs. Santana w/OrtizLashley comes out of the starting blocks fast and hits Santana with a spear at the bell. Ranallo: ”I think Riddle had a guilty conscience for what happened earlier! Lashley looks like he wants nothing to do with Matt Riddle though!”McGuinness: ”Well he either has a guilty conscience or he wants to worm his way into Lashley’s good books! I mean I wouldn’t want Bobby Lashley to be pissed at me either!”

I have faith he will find his way home. Join the anarchy AJ.....come home.....” Aleister looks directly in the camera before grinning.Ranallo: ”Aleister not worried about Drew Galloway as he apparently knows it’s his destiny to win the title but he wants AJ Styles to come home? What does he mean by that!?”McGuinness: ”I’m not too sure but if I’m AJ Styles I don’t think I’d wanna get involved with Aleister, that man is dangerous.”SCU (Daniels and Kazarian) vs. The Young Bucks (c) - (PWU Tag Team Championships)This one starts off at a quick pace, Daniels and Nick Jackson start the match off with some nice quick counter wrestling. May 13th 2021Warfare kicks off with a video package showing us what happened last week. It shows us Kevin Steen’s interference in the Tag Team Battle Royal, The masked woman attacking BB Crawford and Rhea Ripley, Moxley costing Aldis the International Title and finally Aleister winning the PWU World Championship as well as CM Punk’s attack after the match. After this we go to our commentary team.Ranallo: ”Welcome everyone to this week’s edition of Warfare! Some huge matches taking place tonight including our main event with Kenny Omega returning to the ring to take on Bullet Club member, Adam Cole!”McGuinness: ”That’s right Mauro, also tonight a huge match for Kevin Steen as he faces Jake Hager and if Steen wins, he gets a shot at Sammy Guevara’s Xcite Championship! I can’t wait, let’s get to it!”
We kick off this week’s show with the new World Champion Aleister alongside Adam Scherr and Killer Kross! The fans give Aleister a huge ovation with a ‘you deserve it’ chant. Aleister takes a bow before he begins speaking. “Last week, my prophecy was fulfilled when I became the PWU World Heavyweight Champion. However very soon after, my direction and my mission changed as CM Punk made the huge mistake of ruining my moment. Punk you have a lot of guts and I respect that. I saw what you did to Jon Moxley at Spring Sacrifice and it impressed me. However you are yet to come in to contact with the anarchy and at Battleground Punk, you will be our latest victim. You cannot beat us. You found a weakness in Moxley....with me there is no weakness. Soon, the anarchy will rule on a larger scale...so go ahead Punk.....make my day...” Aleister grins and throws his microphone down before he leaves the ring with Scherr and Kross.Ranallo: ”Aleister cannot wait to get his hands on CM Punk! I can’t wait for that match at Battleground!”McGuinness: ”The worst thing Punk may have done is strike the first blow last week! Aleister will not back down and has promised that anarchy will rule on a larger scale whatever that means!?”’El Idolo’ Andrade vs. Christopher DanielsAndrade’s first match since his debut against Claudio Castagnoli! This one starts with both men locking up and quick chain wrestling between the two. After the first exchange, both men are on their feet and Andrade offers the hand to Daniels. Daniels accepts a handshake but Andrade delivers a short arm clothesline! Andrade puts the boots to Daniels before getting him to his feet and landing a nice snap suplex which results in a two count. Andrade whips Daniels to the corner and crashes into him with a clothesline before climbing the turnbuckle behind Daniels, locking Daniels in a headlock and hitting a beautiful diving reverse DDT from the top rope! Andrade taunts the crowd as Daniels tries to get to his feet. Andrade goes for a handspring Pele kick but Daniels catches Andrade on the way through and hits a german suplex into a pin, 1......2......Andrade kicks out! Daniels hits a standing moonsault and goes for another cover but again only a two count. Daniels delivers stiff uppercuts to Andrade before whipping him into the corner. Daniels goes for a monkey flip but Andrade lands on his feet and catches Daniels charging at him and executes a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Andrade covers but only a two count again! Andrade lifts Daniels to his feet and goes for a powerbomb, Andrade gets him in position but Daniels counters into a face buster! Both men try to get to their feet, Daniels ducks a clothesline attempt and hits a body slam. Daniels attempts the double jump moonsault but Andrade gets his knees up into Daniels ribs! Andrade springs to his feet and hits his handspring Pele kick which knocks Daniels back into the corner! Andrade hits Daniels with numerous right hands until Daniels is seated in the corner. Andrade backs up and charges at Daniels, both knees right into Daniels face! Andrade goes to the top rope and tries his own double jump moonsault! Daniels tries to move out the way but Andrade lands on his feet and jumps back landing the second standing moonsault. Andrade waits for Daniels to get to his feet. Andrade measures Daniels and hits him with a running boot followed by ‘La Sombra’ DDT which lands Daniels on his head! Andrade covers, 1.......2.......3! After the match, Andrade asks for a microphone. Andrade warns Claudio Castagnoli that they have unfinished business and that he is coming for the International Championship! Ranallo: ”Well Andrade does sort of have a point, on his debut he challenged Castagnoli for the title and Pac interfered leading to a DQ!”McGuinness: ”Andrade has made a statement tonight and he has put Castagnoli on notice!”
We go backstage where Bobby Lashley is warming up for his tag team match later tonight. His partner for the night, Matt Riddle approaches him. “Brrroooo.....look at you! You’re a machine!! Just wanted to say I’m sorry I upset you last week but tonight we’re a team and that’s all in the past! Check this out dude, I’ve even come up with some cool team names for us, How about....” Lashley cuts Riddle off “Stop! I don’t like you. This is a one night deal....I don’t need a partner and if you get in my way I’ll knock you down just like I did last week” Lashley walks off and leaves Riddle standing there. Riddle shouts after him “Bro I didn’t get to tell you the names I have for our team!!”Ranallo: ”It doesn’t look like Bobby Lashley is too thrilled about Matt Riddle being his partner tonight....”McGuinness: ”The funny thing is, they could be a great team! Both men tough as nails with Mixed Martial Arts backgrounds! Lashley wants no part of that though...”
Up next, The Bullet Club make their way out to the ring! Drew Galloway looking very solemn as he leads his group down the aisle. Galloway demands a microphone “Last week was a dark day for The Bullet Club as Aleister pinned me to become the new World Champion. I can’t take anything away from him, he got me good. What I can do however is promise that I will never be embarrassed like that again and I will enact my rematch clause down the road. For now though, we have important business to attend to. At Battleground, The Bullet Club go to war against Prince Devitt, Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers. This match means more to us than any title and at Battleground there will only be one dominant club here in PWU. We will make them surrender and show exactly why we should be feared. I imagine that match is over the rights to call themselves The Bullet Club or maybe the winning group absorbs the other one. Guess we'll see.
