May 20th 2021Warfare kicks off with a video package showing clips from last week’s show, ending with the closing moments of last week’s show with The Bullet Club dominating The OG Bullet Club members.
The camera pans around the Milwaukee Panther Arena in Milwaukee WI where 12,000 PWU fans are in attendance! We are welcomed by our announce team.Ranallo: ”Welcome everybody to Warfare! I’m Mauro Ranallo, joined by Nigel McGuinness and what a show this should be!”McGuinness: ”That’s right, tonight the World Champion Aleister will be in action taking on the leader or the OG Bullet Club, Prince Devitt in a non title match!”Ranallo: ”Also tonight, will we finally find out the identity of the mystery woman who has been attacking BB Crawford, she has been invited here tonight by Stu Bennett and is supposed to be going one on one with Piper Niven!”McGuinness: ”Also tonight, the leader of The Bullet Club Drew Galloway will be going one on one with Doc Gallows!”
‘El Idolo’ Andrade makes his way out to the ring! The fans boo as Andrade saunters down to ringside and grabs a microphone. “Last week......I took out the so called PWU International Champion. All week I’ve been asked why? Why did I do it? Well it’s simple....he’s not the rightful champion. I am!! If it wasn’t for Pac getting involved in my match with Claudio last month, I’d be standing before you all as the International Champion right now! Every week he comes out here with his open challenges, well I want to be the one to take that title from him!! That’s why I made sure there will be no open challenge this week or next week as I crushed his ankle with that steel chair. So instead, I thought I’d treat you all to my own open challenge! So I can prove who the real champion is......me! So come on out here!”
After a moment we hear Ricochet’s music hit!! Ricochet comes out to a nice ovation from the fans and this match is on!’El Idolo’ Andrade vs. RicochetRicochet wastes no time and springboards over the top rope and levels Andrade with a lariat to start the match!! Ricochet floors Andrade with a series of dropkicks, sending Andrade to the outside! Andrade tries to gain some composure but Ricochet delivers a sommersault plancha on to Andrade on the outside! Ricochet like a house on fire! Ricochet rolls Andrade in the ring and waits on the ring apron. Andrade gets to his feet and Ricochet goes for a springboard headscissors but Andrade counters with a sit-out powerbomb! Andrade gains some control and hits Ricochet with numerous quick strikes and whips him into the corner. Andrade charges at him and hits a corner clothesline followed up by a bulldog. Andrade covers but near fall! Andrade picks Ricochet up and delivers a few stiff chops before locking in an arm lock then he runs up the turnbuckle to deliver a spinning corkscrew arm drag. Ricochet charges at Andrade catches him with a back elbow then executes a nice release german suplex! Andrade goes over to a grounded Ricochet but Ricochet hits Andrade with a couple of kicks to the head followed up by a nip up hurricarana! Ricochet hits a slingblade then a drop sault knocking Andrade down. Standing shooting star press by Ricochet, cover, 1.......2......no! Ricochet picks Andrade up and whips him into the corner. He goes for a monkey flip but Andrade lands on his feet and Andrade catches Ricochet charging at him with a tilt a whirl back breaker. Andrade lifts Ricochet in a powerbomb position and delivers a devastating buckle bomb! Andrade looks in control and sets up for La Sombra DDT but Ricochet reverses the set up and hits Andrade with a knee to the face followed by the backstabber! Ricochet has Andrade where he wants him and climbs up top for the 630 splash but Andrade quickly back to his feet crotches Ricochet on the top rope! Andrade hangs Ricochet in a tree of woe position and climbs to the top rope himself. Andrade jumps and drives both feet into Ricochet’s chest as Ricochet is in the tree of woe position! Andrade picks Ricochet up and connects with La Sombra DDT! Andrade covers, 1........2.......3!! Ranallo: ”Impressive win by Andrade there! Andrade still undefeated!”McGuinness: ”Well, Andrade with a point to prove! He says he should be the International Champion right now and it’s hard to disagree on that showing!”
We go backstage where Bobby Lashley suited and booted is in Stu Bennett’s office. “Look, I don’t know what’s happening here but why am I in another tag match with Riddle tonight! Last week should of been a one night deal, I don’t need a partner!” Stu Bennett smirks “Bobby, last week, you and Riddle had a convincing win over a top tag team in this company. That made me think that you two could stay as a team and who knows? You might actually win a title with him?” Bennett tries to stifle laughter, “You trying to be funny Stu?” Lashley looks pissed. Suddenly, Matt Riddle bursts in the office. “Bro......I’ve been looking all over for you! C’mon let’s get out of here, we have a match coming up. Oh yeah dude, by the way I got some new gnarly team names for us. I was thinking the Brominators......cos you’re finisher is The Dominator? Ya get it? Kinda cool huh?” Lashley stares at Riddle and then glances at Bennett before walking out of his office. Riddle shouts after Lashley “Wait I have more names!!!” Riddle turns to Bennett “That dude really needs to lighten up....”
We go back to the ring where the OG Bullet Club are standing! Prince Devitt takes the microphone “Last week was not a good night for us. We were beaten down in this ring by (Devitt does quotation fingers) The Bullet Club and left laying. The thing is, that may of been a blessing in disguise, as all that has done has made us realise that we may need a little help in our fight. Tonight, I have a match against Aleister but after that, all my attention is on the fight at Battleground when we face The Bullet Club in the Battleground Match! The problem is as we saw last week, The Bullet Club have an extra member in Britt Baker. Now granted, she’s not gonna be in the match but she could still influence the outcome. That is why tonight, we’ve enlisted the help of an old friend. (AJ Styles chants echo throughout the arena) Galloway, Cole, Bucks, you’ve lit a fire in us like never before so with this old friend in our ranks, let’s raise the stakes shall we!? You go around calling yourself The Bullet Club when we all know you are a fake incarnation of what used to be a pretty badass group. So at Battleground, why dont we put it the name on the line? If we win, we own The Bullet Club name in PWU and you guys disband.....if you win.....we disband and you are the undisputed Bullet Club in this company. What do you say?” Drew Galloway and the rest of The Bullet Club appear on the stage “Prince.....you’re on. We left you laying last week....I don’t see why it will be any different at Battleground. As for your ‘friend’ I think I know who he is. If it’s who I think it is, it makes no difference as we’ll beat him down as well. Doc.....you better be ready for our match later, you saw what I did to Kenny last week....that could be your fate tonight.” The Bullet Club leave the ringside area.Ranallo: ”What an announcement!! The winners of the Battleground Match will be the official Bullet Club in PWU! Also what about this ‘friend’ that the OG’s have enlisted? What do we think Nigel?”McGuinness: ”Well, I don’t want to spoil any surprises but I think it will be a phenomenal piece of work by the OG’s to bring him in to their fight!”Bobby Lashley & Matt Riddle vs. The Gunn Club (Austin and Colten Gunn)Riddle starts the match much to the annoyance of Lashley. Riddle goes to work on Austin with quick striking moves followed by a nice jumping calf kick. Riddle then plants him with a falling hip toss. The two men tie up again, this time Riddle goes for a waist lock take down into a front face lock. Austin uses his strength to power out and throws Riddle front first to the mat! Austin then stomps away on Riddle before picking him up and throwing him into their corner. Austin tags in Colten and Colten hits a huge corner splash to Riddle in shades of his dad Billy! Colten then delivers and arm drag take over and locks Riddle in an arm lock. Riddle gets to his feet while the hold is applied and hits sharp kicks to the back of Colten’s legs before sweeping his legs from under him! Riddle follows up with a senton splash, cover but only a two. Riddle makes the tag to Lashley, he charges in and levels Austin with a clothesline who is knocked off the apron. Lashley then lifts up Colten and executes a snake eyes before Lashley runs off the ropes and hits a spear!! Austin rushes in to the ring to interject but Riddle takes him out with a spear!! Lashley waits for Colten to get to his feet before hitting another hard spear! Lashley goes near his corner and Riddle is waiting for a tag! Lashley charges with another spear but Riddle tagged himself in just before Lashley hits it! Riddle climbs to the top rope and delivers a corkscrew senton then picks up Colten and hits the Bro Derek! Riddle covers, 1......2......3! Riddle and Lashley with another win! Lashley glares at Riddle as Riddle celebrates their win. Lashley goes to the outside and picks up Austin Gunn. Lashley executes a Dominator to Austin on the outside in frustration! Riddle manages to stop Lashley’s assault and Lashley storms off in frustration with Riddle trying to calm Lashley down. Ranallo: ”Riddle and Lashley with another victory but....I’m pretty sure Lashley is gonna explode soon if Riddle keeps tagging himself in to secure the win!”McGuinness: ”Well in tag team wrestling, a win is a win! You’re right though, I don’t think Bobby Lashley is cut out for tag team wrestling....”
Up next, we see a promo for the Battleground PPV on June 27th.
We then see footage from NWA Power this past week where their World Champion Nick Aldis was attacked by Jon Moxley!! Last week, Aldis challenged Moxley to show up on this week’s Power and he did! Aldis was in the ring goading Moxley, when Moxley dressed in street clothes came out from the studio audience and attacked the champion! Moxley was dragged away by security and various members of the NWA roster and we’ve heard that Jon Moxley will be at Warfare next week!Ranallo: ”This situation between Jon Moxley and the NWA World Champion Nick Aldis is getting out of control!”McGuinness: ”It is Mauro, I knew Moxley would show up on Power! Challenging Moxley is like a red rag to a bull, ya know he will show up and that some chaos will ensue and this week’s episode of NWA Power proved no different! Moxley will be here next week and I can’t wait to hear what he has to say!”Drew Galloway vs. Doc GallowsThe two men start the match by slugging it out with rights and lefts. Gallows ducks a clothesline attempt and delivers a big boot which stuns Galloway near the ropes. Gallows hits a clothesline which sends Drew flying over the top rope to the floor! Gallows follows him to the outside and hits Drew with some hard uppercuts. Gallows gets Drew on his shoulders and tries to drop him chest first on the barricade but Drew counters and pushes Gallows into the barricade! The ref continues his count and Drew rolls Gallows back into the ring. Drew hits a knee drop and goes for the cover, 1.......2......kick out! Drew helps Gallows to his feet and whips him off the ropes and catches him coming back with a powerslam! Huge impact there on the big guy. Drew senses the end is near and sets up for The Claymore near the corner! Drew charges with the Claymore but Gallows moves out the way leaving Drew crashing hard! Gallows then hits an elbow drop. Gallows lifts Drew off the mat and executes a very nice reverse suplex, Drew landing hard on his front! Gallows lifts Drew of the mat again and puts him on his shoulders for a reverse flapjack but Drew climbs down and hits a reverse DDT! Galloway picks Gallows up by the head, whips him off the ropes and catches him coming back with a Claymore!!! Galloway covers, 1.......2.......3!! After the match, Galloway mounts Gallows and hits numerous punches to the head. Drew then pulls out a pair of handcuffs from his boot! Galloway is about to handcuff Gallows to the ring rope when suddenly AJ Styles music hits!! Drew is distracted and AJ races down the ramp and hits a flying forearm on Galloway! AJ on top of Galloway starts hitting him with numerous right hands! Galloway rolls out of the ring and AJ helps Gallows to his feet! Drew looks pissed as ‘AJ’ chants break out! He makes his way backstage. Ranallo: ”Well there’s your answer! AJ Styles has sided with the OG Bullet Club in their fight against the current incarnation!”McGuinness: ”Well I’m not surprised! As soon as Devitt mentioned an old friend earlier, of course it was gonna be AJ!!”
We go to pre recorded comments from CM Punk regarding his upcoming World Championship match against Aleister at Battleground. “Hello Aleister. You may of forgotten about me while fighting many of your other battles. I’m the man that’s going to take your title at Battleground. Now while you’re out there spewing riddles and rhymes and not making any actual sense, I’m here to give you a reality check. Next month at Battleground, I’m going to take that championship from you and gain something that I should have rightfully had the opportunity to fight for to begin with. Instead I had two brutal matches with Jon Moxley, the last of which led me to this match at Battleground. I’ve already been through hell Aleister, so nothing you say can intimidate me. I already made the sacrifices I needed to gain this opportunity and my little attack two weeks ago is nothing compared to what I’m going to do at Battleground. I’m not scared of you Aleister. That’s why next week, I’ve agreed to make my in ring debut on Warfare against one of your boys Killer Kross. I’ll see you next week....”Ranallo: ”Whoa, CM Punk is also here next week in a match! Punk and Kross next week! That’s huge!”McGuinness: ”Punk not backing down from the threat of our World Champion, it just shows that Punk is not afraid of Aleister or his threats! That should be a great match!”Ranallo: ”Well up next, will the mystery woman’s identity finally be revealed!?”Piper Niven vs. ? ? ?Niven waits in the ring for her opponent for a while but nothing happens. The masked woman waits for Niven to get to her feet and tries to hit a roundhouse kick to the head but Niven catches her foot and lifts her up, slamming her hard to the mat! Niven takes some control and traps the masked woman in the corner, delivering three hip attacks right into the midsection! Niven hots a snap mare and tries to unmask the woman but she escapes to the apron. She has set her sights on the Women’s Champion over the past couple of weeks, and tonight she has defeated Piper Niven!”
We go backstage where Kayla is standing by with the PWU World Champion Aleister, Killer Kross and Adam Scherr. She asks Aleister about his match tonight with Prince Devitt and also asks him about the comments we heard from CM Punk earlier tonight. Aleister responds “Prince, last week you stuck your nose in our business. Just like anybody that sticks their nose in our business, tonight you pay the price. I saw AJ earlier helping out Gallows.....he looked real convincing. I knew AJ would come home eventually....I just didn’t realise it’d be tonight. Prince, the anarchy will be unleashed on you and any of your buddies that may want to get involved. As for you Punk.....you wont even make it to Battleground as next week you go up against Killer Kross. He’s not called ‘Killer’ just for the sake of it...and for my sake, I hope you make it to Battleground. I am going to enjoy every moment destroying you and proving to everyone here in PWU that wants a shot at me....that they shouldn’t bother.” Aleister and his henchmen walk away.Ranallo: ”The champ vowing to destroy CM Punk at Battleground! I can’t wait for that! Talking of can’t wait, let’s talk about next week’s Warfare!”McGuinness: ”Huge night next week, we have CM Punk in his Warfare in-ring debut against Killer Kross! Also next week, we know Jon Moxley is going to be here!”Ranallo: ”Also, I’ve just been informed that Bobby Lashley and Matt Riddle will be in tag team action against DIY next week! The winners will get a shot at The Young Bucks for the Tag Team Titles on the June 3rd episode of Warfare!! We’ve also been informed that at Battleground, Andrade will challenge Claudio Castagnoli for the PWU International Championship! Big announcements there courtesy of our GM there!”Prince Devitt vs. Aleister (PWU World Champion) (non-title match)It’s time for the main event! Aleister is sat cross legged in the ring, taunting Devitt to attack him before the bell sounds. The referee keeps Devitt back but Aleister gets to his feet and hits Devitt with a cheap forearm over the referee’s shoulder! The bell sounds and Aleister takes control with hard forearms to the face of Devitt. Aleister goes for one last kick but Devitt ducks it and hits a basement dropkick taking out Aleister’s legs! Devitt then comes off the ropes and hits a basement dropkick to the face of Aleister! Devitt picks Aleister up and goes for the 1916 DDT but Aleister blocks it and hits a northern lights suplex. Aleister then hits a standing double foot stomp of his own on to Devitt! Devitt rolls back into ring and Aleister waits on the ring apron again. Devitt slowly gets to his feet and Aleister hits a springboard clothesline to Devitt! Aleister covers, 1.........2.......no! CM Punk really must be the best in the world because he can't stay away from even fictional World Titles.

Warfare this week emanates from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis Indiana! Approximately 13,000 fans on hand as Mauro Ranallo welcomes us to the show alongside Nigel McGuinness.Ranallo: ”Welcome to Warfare!! After last week’s shocking conclusion as you just saw, what a show we have tonight!”McGuinness: ”That’s right Mauro, CM Punk making his in-ring Warfare debut as he faces The Anarchy’s Killer Kross! What a match that should be!”Ranallo: ”That’s right Nigel, also tonight we have the newly formed team of Matt Riddle and Bobby Lashley taking on DIY in a number one contenders match for a shot PWU Tag Team Titles next week! Jon Moxley will be here to address the NWA World Champion Nick Aldis! Also Nick’s wife, Mickie James is here after her debut last week.....but let’s kick things off with the Xcite Champion, Sammy Guevara!”(PWU Xcite Champion) Sammy Guevara w/Jake Hager vs. Adeel AlamA quick paced match to start off Warfare this week! Guevara takes control of the match early, getting in a cheap shot just before the bell sounds. Guevara clubs Alam in the back repeatedly before hitting a nice snap suplex. Guevara works over Alam but the tide of the match turns when Guevara goes for a flying forearm in the corner which Alam sees coming and moves out to the ring apron before hitting a roundhouse kick to the head! Alam then hits a slingshot clothesline to the champion, then waits for Guevara to get to his feet and connects with a roll forward jumping DDT! Alam covers but only gets a two count. Alam hits stiff strikes to Guevara and whips him into the corner. Alam is met with a desperate boot to the face by Guevara who follows up with a big lariat! Guevara in control goes to the top rope for a shooting star press but Alam nips up to his feet and pushes the top rope leaving Guevara crotched on the turnbuckle. Alam climbs the turnbuckle and sets up for the Spanish Fly which he connects with!!! The champion in trouble! The fans are on their feet and just as Alam is about to cause an upset, Jake Hager climbs on the ring apron! The referee is distracted and Alam dropkicks Hager off the apron! This distraction allows Sammy to get to his feet and he hoists Alam on his shoulders and hits the Burning Hammer GTS!! Guevara covers, 1.........2.......3! After the match, Hager climbs back into the ring and locks in the ankle lock on Alam! Sammy puts the boots in at the same time but outcomes Kevin Steen!! Steen rushes out and Guevara and Hager hightail it out of there! Ranallo: ”Great opening match there but once again we’ve seen that Sammy Guevara wants none of Kevin Steen!!”McGuinness: ”Unfortunately for Sammy, he doesn’t have a choice in the matter as Kevin Steen challenges Guevara at Battleground for his title!”
Up next, we see The Anarchy lead by the PWU World Champion Aleister on their way to the ring! The Anarchy are all dressed in new leather jackets with the group logo on the back of them. The fans cheer as Aleister picks up the mic. “Last week....I told everyone that The Anarchy will begin. I issued a warning to the PWU locker room but still there were naysayers who thought I was all talk. That was until the end of last week’s show when I introduced AJ into this brotherhood. Now listen up Prince, what happened last week was just a warning about what happens if you stick your nose in my business. Your boys got beaten down and rightly so. If you’re smart, you fellas will accept your beating and move on. I’m also going to look past what happened last week and look forward to our next victim.....CM Punk. Now Punk, you talk a lot of trash and you’re very brave when you’re doing a pre recorded interview. Tonight though we see just how brave you are.....it’s not too late to turn back Punk. This is your final warning as tonight you face Killer Kross. IF you do go ahead with this match tonight just remember I gave you the choice. (Aleister pulls out an egg timer from his jacket and places it on the mat) Time is ticking Punk......” The Anarchy leave the egg timer in the ring and leave the ring area. Ranallo: ”A message sent by our World Champion.....but I have a feeling Punk will not back down from The Anarchy!”McGuinness: ”Definitely not Mauro, Punk has a chance to possibly gain a psychological advantage over Aleister tonight! If he beats Killer Kross, doubts could potentially creep into Aleister’s mind!”
Up next ‘El Idolo’ Andrade enters the arena! Andrade has a mic as he walks down to ringside “So once again, your cowardly International Champion is not competing tonight and not fulfilling his promise to defend that title every week. Do not fear though as ‘El Idolo’ will represent what an International Champion should be!”’El Idolo’ Andrade vs. Chris Sabin w/Alex ShelleyThe two men lock up and Andrade backs Sabin into the corner. Andrade looks as though he’ll break cleanly but Andrade slaps Sabin and Sabin responds with a slap of his own! Schoolboy pin but only a two! Sabin trying to catch Andrade by surprise. Sabin hits a clothesline, then another before hitting a huge dropkick which sends Andrade to the outside! The fans at ringside taunt Andrade and Andrade tells them to shut up. Sabin takes advantage of the distraction and hits a suicide dive to the outside on Andrade! Sabin all fired up! Sabin picks Andrade up and rams his head off the ring apron before rolling him back into the ring. Sabin waits for Andrade and goes for a springboard clothesline from the apron but Andrade dropkicks Sabin in mid air! Andrade gains some control in the match and whips Sabin hard into the turnbuckle. Andrade hammers away on Sabin with Sabin now seated in the corner. Andrade backs away before charging at speed with a double knee strike in the corner! Andrade covers but only gets a two count! Andrade questions the ref count but goes back to work on Sabin. Andrade picks Sabin up but Sabin hits a few elbows into the gut, Sabin off the ropes, Andrade ducks a clothesline attempt and catches Sabin coming back with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Andrade catches Sabin for La Sombra DDT but Sabin wriggles out and follows up with a huge lariat! Both men down, Sabin trying to get to his feet first. Sabin gets to his feet first and waits for Andrade before connecting with a huge superkick to the jaw! Sabin gets him on his shoulders for The Cradleshock but Andrade climbs down and executes a roll up, Andrade with the tights 1..........2...........3!!! Andrade gets him! Ranallo: ”What a cheap win by Andrade!! That’s what he thinks a good champion represents!?”McGuinness: ”Cheap or not Mauro, it’s effective! If he pins Castagnoli at Battleground by pulling the tights without the ref seeing he’s not gonna care one bit and we’ll have a new champion!”
We go backstage where The Bullet Club are just arriving to the arena! They seem to be in good spirits and can be heard to be laughing and joking about the beatdown that The OG Bullet Club got last week at the hands of The Anarchy. Kayla appears and asks Drew Galloway about his thoughts on last week’s attack and what do they have in store tonight? Drew responds “Ya see Kayla, thanks to The Anarchy, we kinda have a night off tonight. They’ve done our work for us after the beatdown that Devitt and his boys have now received two weeks in a row! It makes me laugh that they are actually serious about challenging us in the Battleground Match. They’re a joke right now. So me and the rest of the club will probably just sit back and watch the rest of the show!” Drew grins and Kayla while the rest of the Bullet Club walk past her, Britt Baker giving her a dirty look.Ranallo: ”The Bullet Club seem in good spirits tonight, has to beg the question though, why are they here? I mean The OG Bullet Club aren’t here tonight due to injuries sustained last week at the hands of The Anarchy!”McGuinness: ”Right now, The Bullet Club can do whatever they like Mauro. They are favourites heading in to Battleground and for good reason! Devitt, Omega and The Good Brothers have been beaten down two weeks running now! Things looking very good for The Bullet Club at the moment!”
We see clips from last week’s show in which the mystery masked woman unmasked herself as Mickie James after defeating Piper Niven!
Mickie James then makes her way out to the ring to a good ovation. James takes the microphone “It’s so nice to be appreciated here in PWU!! (The fans cheer) So last week, I revealed that it was me that was under the mask the previous two weeks. I have arrived in PWU with one goal in mind. For years now I have been overlooked, under appreciated, placed further down the pecking order in favour of younger women, most of which can’t wrestle or draw a dime by the way!! So I’m here in PWU to set the record straight that I am one of the most talented female wrestlers on the planet and I deserve a shot at glory once again! So BB Crawford, I’m challenging you to a title match at Battleground! I can beat you....and in fact I can beat any of the so called talent in this company!” This brings out Rhea Ripley! Ripley comes out and marches down to the ring with a microphone. “Well well well......what do we have here? Another has-been that wants to take a trip down memory lane.......at my expense! Mickie....you WERE a great wrestler. In fact, I was even a fan of yours....but it’s my time now and in no way am I letting you get a title shot over me! I’ve had BB beat twice now and both times I’ve been cheated. So go back to whatever you’ve been doing since you were fired from the other place and understand that your career is over!” The two ladies look like they are about to fight but outcomes the GM Stu Bennett! “Ladies please....settle down. Now I know the women’s division here in PWU is fierce and to be honest with you, I think you both deserve a title shot. So before you rip each other to shreds, at Battleground, BB Crawford will defend her title in a triple threat match against the both of you!!” Stu Bennett walks away, and as he does, Mickie James takes out Ripley’s leg from behind! Mickie then puts the boots to Ripley before picking her up and hitting a jumping tornado DDT! Mickie blows a kiss to Ripley as she leaves the ring. Ranallo: ”What a statement made by Mickie James!! Mickie is here for the Women’s Championship!”McGuinness: ”Mickie James has really upset the applecart in the women’s division and she finds herself in a triple threat match against the champion and Rhea Ripley at Battleground for the title! Huge match made by Stu Bennett!”
We see a promo for Battleground, but when we come back, Jon Moxley’s music plays! Moxley makes his way out to the ring through the fans and once he enters the ring he snatches a microphone. “I hate to interrupt the show but Nick Aldis, I just saw your old lady out here so I know you must be in this building tonight. Get your ass out here now....” Moxley throws the mic as ‘Moxley’ chants echo throughout the arena. Moxley is expecting Aldis but out comes Stu Bennett again! “Moxley! I’m afraid you’re going to be disappointed, Nick Aldis isn’t here tonight. I thought I’d give him the night off as a good will gesture after you embarrassed PWU last week by attacking Nick on an episode of NWA Power! As you’re here though Jon and it seems like you’re ready to fight then let’s have a match! Here’s your opponent.....” Outcomes Sha Samuels!! Bennett smirks as Samuels makes his way out. Jon Moxley vs. Sha SamuelsSamuels makes his way down the aisle but Moxley isn’t willing to wait and delivers a suicide dive to Samuels before he makes it in to the ring! Moxley pummels Samuels with hard right hands before picking him up and throwing him into the guard rail. Moxley rolls Samuels into the ring and starts choking him up until the referee’s 5 count. Moxley picks Samuels up again but this time Samuels backs Moxley into the turnbuckle and follows up by driving his shoulders into Moxley’s mid section repeatedly. Samuels then floors Moxley with a hard clothesline. Samuels begins to take some control in the match, keeping Moxley grounded with a sleeper hold. Samuels uses the ropes for leverage behind the referee’s back! ‘Moxley’ chants break out and Moxley feeds off the crowd’s energy and reverses the sleeper hold into a side suplex! Both men get to their feet and the two exchange punches, Sha whips Moxley off the ropes, he ducks a clothesline attempt and follows up coming back with a flying forearm! Moxley climbs to the top rope and waits for Samuels to get to his feet before driving his elbow into the top of Samuels head then hitting a huge lariat! Moxley waits again and rebounds off the middle rope and goes for a lariat but Samuels ducks and hits a neckbreaker! Samuels goes for a cover but only gets a two count! Samuels continues to hammer away at Moxley with clubbing blows and whips Moxley into the corner. Samuels charges for a corner splash but Moxley moves out the way! Moxley capitalises and hits a bulldog out of the corner! Quick cover, 1....2....no! Samuels kicks out! Moxley picks Samuels up and goes for a Paradigm Shift but Samuels lifts Moxley off his feet and drops him hard on his front! Samuels tries to lock in the ‘Butcher’s Hook’ but Moxley reverses it and hits a Russian leg sweep! Samuels gets to his knees but Moxley charges with a knee to the head of Samuels! Moxley picks Samuels up in position for the Paradigm Shift and this time he connects! Moxley covers, 1........2........3!! Moxley picks up the win! After the match, Moxley demands a microphone. “Aldis.....you’re lucky you aint here this week but I want you here next week. I also want you at Battleground.....and if you’re man enough, you’ll put your NWA World Championship on the line. I want your answer next week....if you don’t show up, I’ll know where to find you...” Moxley throws his mic down as the fans cheer. Ranallo: ”Moxley laying down a challenge to the NWA Champion Nick Aldis for Battleground!”McGuinness: ”Will Nick Aldis show up next week!?”
We go backstage where Bobby Lashley is doing his final stretches for the tag team match up next. Matt Riddle approaches “Brrrooooo.......look at you man! You ready?” Lashley looks agitated “Look Riddle....I know we’ve been on a roll as of late but you need to get serious, stop all this bro business and start taking this seriously. We have a chance to become Tag Team Champions next week and IF I have to team with you....you better be ready.......bro.” Riddle smirks as Lashley walks off “I think he’s starting to like me...” Matt Riddle and Bobby Lashley vs. D.I.Y (winners face Young Bucks next week for tag team titles)
Gargano starts the match with Riddle and the two men lock up. Gargano backs Riddle into the ropes and the two have a clean break. They go to lock up again but Riddle nips behind Gargano and delivers a waist lock take down followed by a front face lock which Gargano counters reversing into an arm lock go behind. Riddle hooks Gargano’s head with his free arm, jumps in the air and hits a nice snap mare to get out of the arm lock. Gargano charges at Riddle but he meets a stiff forearm to the face followed by a series of stiff kicks, Riddle takes Gargano to his knees, goes for a big kick but Gargano ducks and rolls Riddle up in a pin, 1......2.....no! Riddle kicks out. Riddle charges at Gargano with a flying knee, it’s ducked and Gargano hits a huge superkick to Riddle followed by a spinning clothesline knocking Riddle down! The fans cheer this opening exchange. Gargano tags in Tommaso, who immediately uses his aggressive offence stomping away on Riddle. Witney hits a knee drop and covers but only a two count. Witney lifts Riddle up and hits a series of European uppercuts before whipping Riddle off the ropes, he goes for a back body drop but Riddle kicks him hard in the chest and then hits a nice jumping tornado DDT to take Witney down! Riddle crawls towards his corner and makes the tag to Lashley! Lashley comes in like a house on fire with big clotheslines to Witney followed up with a powerslam. Lashley covers but only a two count! Lashley picks Witney up and goes for an overhead belly to belly but Witney blocks it and claps Lashley’s head. Witney then takes out the leg of Lashley with a dropkick and follows up with a running knee to the face! Witney covers but Lashley kicks out! Witney hammers away on Lashley before displaying some good strength to hit Lashley with a german suplex! Witney tags in Gargano and both men stomp away on Lashley. They whip Lashley off the ropes and hit a nice double flapjack! Gargano covers, 1.....2.....but again Lashley gets the shoulder up! Gargano waits for Lashley to get to his feet as Riddle desperately wants the tag. Gargano charges at Lashley for a big superkick but Lashley catches his foot and hits a big time standing spinebuster! Lashley wastes no time in continuing his momentum and lifts Gargano off the canvas to hit a release belly to belly suplex! Lashley now full of momentum awaits Gargano to get to his feet, Lashley charges for a spear but Gargano leapfrogs it and instead, Witney superkicks Lashley in the face near the other corner! Gargano rolls Lashley over, 1......2......no! Lashley kicks out. Gargano tags in Witney and it looks as though they are going for the tandem running knee to Lashley but Riddle comes in and takes out Gargano with a spear of his own! Witney focuses on Riddle but Riddle hits Witney with a standing enziguri resulting in Witney staggering into the path of a huge spear by Lashley! Riddle dives to the outside on to Gargano as Lashley locks in the Hurt Lock!! Witney has nowhere to go and the referee calls for the bell! Lashley and Riddle have done it! Ranallo: ”They did it!! Bobby Lashley and Matt Riddle will get a shot next week at The Young Bucks for the PWU Tag Team Titles!”McGuinness: ”What another great performance by Lashley and Riddle! These two could go all the way!”Riddle climbs back into the ring and Lashley allows Riddle to raise his arm in victory and the two embrace! Ranallo: ”Finally, Lashley may be softening up to Matt Riddle!”McGuinness: ”I think Lashley is starting to believe that he and Matt Riddle could be a serious force in PWU!”
We go backstage where we see The Young Bucks reacting to Lashley and Riddle’s win. The Bucks smirk seemingly not worried about their opponents next week. Cole says “Don’t worry guys....no way can Lashley and Riddle co-exist against you....besides you guys have the club behind you. They have nobody.”
We then go to Kayla backstage with CM Punk! Kayla asks Punk how he’s feeling ahead of his match with Killer Kross tonight. Punk responds “Killer Kross doesn’t scare me. Aleister and his misfits are all talk whereas me, I deliver on what I promise. I promised I’d defeat Moxley in the Sacrifice cage, and I did. I now guarantee that I will be the next PWU World Champion. Tonight, I take apart The Anarchy one by one......starting with you Kross.”CM Punk vs. Killer Kross w/AleisterKross is accompanied by Aleister, who just sits on the entrance stage cross legged watching the action. The match starts with Kross charging at Punk with a clothesline but Punk ducks it and delivers numerous forearm shots to the face followed by a big kick to the chest which staggers Kross. Punk follows up with grounded punches. Punk points at Aleister and grins before mounting Kross again and hitting him with several right hands. Aleister doesn’t react at all. Apologies for the long delay, just gone back to work after a long time off thanks to covid. This week’s show may be in a more summarised format and I’ll see how that looks before deciding whether or not to present shows like that going forward. Battleground will still be fully detailed.

The Anarchy is a nice name, lord knows I know how difficult it can be to come up with stable and tag team names. Adeel Alam and Sha Samuels, you're actually giving me my first introduction to some of these competitors and I thought I knew a lot of wrestlers.

Adeel Alam and Sha Samuels, you're actually giving me my first introduction to some of these competitors and I thought I knew a lot of wrestlers. Adeel Alam is Mustafa Ali’s real name and Sha Samuels is from NXT UK. I like to use alternative names to keep it realistic that that they no longer work for WWE (although Sha Samuels has always been Sha Samuels)

June 10th 2021Warfare this week kicks off from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois! 13,000 fans on hand and we are welcomed by Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness! Ranallo runs down the card for tonight’s show including a Tag Team Championship Match with The Young Bucks defending their tag team titles against a newly formed team of Matt Riddle and Bobby Lashley! Also tonight, a huge match with The Anarchy’s AJ Styles taking on CM Punk! Nick Aldis will be here to address Jon Moxley’s challenge and much more!(PWU Women’s Champion) BB Crawford and Piper Niven vs. Rhea Ripley and DMD Dr Britt BakerBefore this match begins, Mickie James enters the arena and does guest commentary, getting a good look at her two opponents at Battleground! This is a decent match, plenty of back and forth action between these teams. Ripley and Baker surprisingly work well as a team, cutting off Niven from her partner. After Niven takes out Baker with a big boot, Niven makes a tag to the champion, BB! BB like a house on fire takes out Baker and Ripley and it looks as though the match is won after BB hits the KOD on to Baker but Mickie James runs in and breaks up the cover resulting in a DQ! James works over BB, but Rhea Ripley takes out James with a bicycle kick and locks her in the Prism Trap! BB escapes and allows Ripley to beat down James. Overall a good start to Warfare. Up next we see Matt Riddle and Bobby Lashley backstage. Riddle keeps asking Lashley about the match tonight but Lashley tells him to be quiet. He tells Riddle that all they need to do is win tonight and tells Riddle he better be focused.
Up next, Andrade makes his way to the ring still taunting the International Champion, Claudio Castagnoli about his injury and tells him that he’s not a real champion and he’s not a real man.’El Idolo’ Andrade vs. Pete DunneA very technical match between two top athletes. Andrade uses his power to gain the advantage for the start of the match with Dunne locking in an arm bar but Andrade countering by lifting him off the canvas and executing a powerbomb. Andrade works on Dunne for a while but Dunne gets back into the match after Andrade misses a top rope moonsault. Dunne locks Andrade in numerous holds as well as showing his aggressive offence with stomps and snapping fingers. Dunne goes for a northern lights suplex but Andrade counters with a La Sombra DDT for the win. Up next we see a promo for Battleground, showing the build up for the Battleground Match between The Bullet Club and the OG Bullet Club for the rights to The Bullet Club name. Once we come back it’s announced by Mauro Ranallo that on next week’s Warfare, Bullet Club leader Drew Galloway and Adam Cole will take on The Good Brothers in tag team action!
We go backstage to Kayla who is standing by with CM Punk. Punk talks about his match with AJ Styles tonight and states that despite the attack last week, Punk still isn’t scared of Aleister and The Anarchy. Punk warns Aleister that he made a big mistake last week by attacking him and soon he’ll show the world that he’s not fighting this battle alone….(NWA World Champion) Nick Aldis vs. Ricochet (non-title match)This one is a nice back and forth contest between two different styles. Aldis tries to keep Ricochet grounded throughout the match to stop him from using his arial offence. Aldis displaying his technical prowess works over Ricochet’s leg throughout the match but his first cloverleaf attempt is blocked and Ricochet gets some offence in. Ricochet with a series of kicks despite him favouring the leg. Ricochet has Aldis down and goes for the 630 splash but Ricochet’s injured leg delays him getting to the top rope allowing Aldis to catch him and hit a top rope suplex followed by the Cloverleaf to pick up the victory! After the match, Aldis addresses Moxley’s challenge last week and accepts! Aldis states that the wrestling world doesn’t need characters like Jon Moxley ruining the sport with senseless violence and cheap attacks. Aldis says the sport needs a man of class much like himself representing it and plans to rid the wrestling world of Jon Moxley at Battleground. He’s willing to put the title on the line as he knows Moxley could never win the ‘big’ one and carry a company with the history and prestige like the NWA. Aldis challenges Moxley next week to show up for the contract signing for their Battleground match.CM Punk vs. AJ StylesPunk wastes no time and attacks AJ Styles while he’s making his entrance! Punk takes out Styles on the ramp and throws him in to the barricade. Punk punishes Styles before the bell sounds and eventually rolls him in to the ring for the match to start. Punk goes for the GTS early but Styles makes a comeback and hits a Pele kick out of desperation! Styles then takes the match to Punk with stiff kicks and various high flying offence. The match is back and forth, the two trading forearm shots and both men getting in their signature moves. Styles goes to the apron and looks for the Phenomenal Forearm but Punk sees it coming and counters by holding the arm and locking in the Anaconda Vice! Punk takes Styles down to the mat and Styles has nowhere to go, leading to him submitting! Punk picks up a huge win ahead of his title match at Battleground! After the match, Styles tries to get to his feet but all of a sudden we see Pac enter the ring from the crowd! Pac knocks Styles down with a kick to the back of the head and follows up with the Brutaliser!! Pac shouts at AJ “You’re too weak!!! It should of been me AJ!!!!” Adam Scherr and Killer Kross chase Pac away and check on AJ. Ranallo on commentary questions whether Pac was who CM Punk was referring to earlier?
Up next an interview with The Young Bucks. The Bucks state that they are not worried about Lashley and Riddle as they know they cannot co-exist for too long. The Young Bucks talk about their brotherhood and state that blood is thicker than water.Bobby Lashley and Matt Riddle vs. The Young Bucks(c) (PWU Tag Team Championship)A great way to end this episode of Warfare! All four men leave it in the ring here in possibly the best tag team match since PWU’s inception. The Bucks do whatever they can to keep Lashley out of the match for the most part, double teaming Riddle. In the closing moments, The Bucks go for a double superkick on Riddle but Riddle ducks and hits both Bucks with a double spear! Riddle tags in Lashley and he is like a house on fire, clotheslines galore as well as a gorilla press to Nick Jackson out of the ring! Lashley spears Matt Jackson and it looks as though the match is over! Riddle tags himself in however and signals that he’s going to the top rope! Lashley tries to talk him down but Nick Jackson pushes Lashley out of the ring which in turn crotches Riddle on the top rope and Riddle tumbles down to the mat. The Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver on Riddle to pick up the win and retain the Tag Team Championships! After the match, Lashley returns to the ring and holds his head. Lashley extends the hand to Riddle to help him up but after helping him to his feet he knocks Riddle down with a clothesline!!! Lashley gets Riddle in the Hurt Lock and locks him in until Riddle passes out! Lashley hits Riddle with the Dominator for good measure before leaving the ring to boos as Warfare goes off the air!

17th June 2021We see a highlight video package showing last week’s events including Pac attacking AJ Styles, Nick Aldis accepting Jon Moxley’s challenge and Bobby Lashley turning on Matt Riddle after their tag team title match. Warfare kicks off from The T Mobile arena in Kansas City, Missouri! We are two weeks away from Battleground and our commentary team Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness runs down tonight’s show hyping up the tag team main event in which The Good Brothers will face Drew Galloway and Adam Cole of The Bullet Club in which the winners will get the third entry for their team in the Battleground Match! Also tonight, Pac will battle with Adam Scherr after his attack on The Anarchy last week, as well as Andrade taking on Kevin Steen and the contract signing between Jon Moxley and Nick Aldis for the NWA World Championship Match at Battleground! CM Punk kicks off the show with an in ring promo regarding his PWU World Championship match with Aleister at Battleground. Punk states that Pac was not who Punk was talking about last week when he said he’s not fighting The Anarchy alone and he has nothing to do with Pac’s attack on AJ Styles last week. Punk warns Aleister that he needs to forget about any other feud he may be in as he needs to concentrate on him taking his title away at Battleground. Punk tells Aleister to pay close attention to him tonight.
Up next, Bobby Lashley comes out and explains his actions for last week’s attack on Matt Riddle. Lashley says that Riddle is a joke act and Lashley doesn’t want to be associated with any joke acts and that he would rather hold no titles than hold a tag team title with that clown. Lashley goes on to say that Riddle has the potential to be a serious contender in PWU but he is all about chilling and acting cool. Lashley warns Riddle to get serious and stay out of his way.Bobby Lashley vs. Tommaso WitneyThis one is an interesting encounter between two different styles, Lashley’s sheer brute strength and Witney’s aggressive style mixed with technical excellence. These two put on a good match with Lashley in control for the most of it but the tide turns when Lashley misses a spear which results in him charging shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Witney hits a big german suplex pinning combo but only gets a two count! In the closing moments Witney goes for the Fairy Tale Ending but Lashley wriggles out and locks in the Hurt Lock! Witney tries to escape but can’t resulting in Bobby Lashley picking up a huge win! After the match, we see Matt Riddle rush to the ring! Riddle hits a flying forearm to Lashley’s face and he takes Lashley down with a spear of his own! Riddle has to be pulled off of Lashley by numerous officials! Ranallo on commentary exclaims that “Riddle just got serious!” We go backstage where Kayla is standing by with Pac. Pac explains that he attacked AJ last week as he felt Aleister had made a mistake by accepting AJ into The Anarchy instead of him. Pac stated that since coming to PWU, he’s been sitting on the sidelines as a bit part player but not anymore. He wanted to feel like he belonged which is why he wanted to join Aleister and The Anarchy. Pac says it looks as though he’s going to have to remove AJ himself….Rhea Ripley vs. ShotziThis is a tough match for Shotzi who does her best to mix it up with Ripley but Ripley is hell bent on becoming the PWU Women’s Champion at Battleground and shows her power and strength in this match. Shotzi gets a brief period of offence, but Ripley over powers her and hits the Riptide for the victory. A big win for Rhea Ripley ahead of the Women’s Championship match in 2 weeks! Next we see footage from a pre recorded special sit down interview conducted by Mauro Ranallo with the OG Bullet Club, Prince Devitt, Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers. They talk in detail about the upcoming Battleground Match against Drew Galloway, The Young Bucks and Adam Cole. Devitt states that this current incarnation of The Bullet Club has s**t on the legacy of the original which is why this fight is happening. Devitt claims he wants to recapture the glory years of The Bullet Club and the OG’s want to reclaim what belonged to them. Kenny Omega then talks about The Young Bucks turning their back on him at Revolution and how badly that affected Omega mentally. Omega states that there is no more self pity and that Kenny Omega will prove he is back to his best at Battleground. Omega said that The Young Bucks were his brothers but now he has found his real brothers again and they will together make The Bullet Club rise again and when they make the Bullet Club surrender, that will be too f*****g sweet.Kevin Steen vs. ‘El Idolo’ AndradeBig match for both men here as they are both challenging for titles at Battleground! This one is an excellent back and forth encounter with both men showing why they are in title contention in PWU. Steen thinks he has the match won mid way through after hitting Andrade with a Stunner but only gets a two count! Andrade also has a near fall after hitting a double jump moonsault on to Steen! In the closing moments, Andrade goes for La Sombra DDT but Steen counters and hits a Pop Up Powerbomb! Suddenly we see the Xcite Champion, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager on the ramp! Guevara taunts Steen, meanwhile Andrade rolls Steen with a schoolboy pin from behind and holds the tights, 1……..2……..3! Andrade picks up the victory but after the match, Guevara runs down to ringside with Jake Hager and they join Andrade in beating down Kevin Steen! Suddenly we hear the music of the International Champion Claudio Castagnoli!! We haven’t seen him for weeks since Andrade injured him! Castagnoli hobbles out but then throws away his crutches and runs down to ringside to take out Andrade! Castagnoli back to full fitness hammers away on Andrade and fights off Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager. Steen and Castagnoli stand tall as Guevara, Hager and Andrade retreat to the back! We go to GM Stu Bennett who is in his office talking to his enforcer Sha Samuels about the upcoming Battleground Pay Per View. They are interrupted when Bobby Lashley storms in! Lashley tells him that he wants Riddle at Battleground as he wants to teach that clown a lesson. Bennett chuckles and accepts Lashley’s request. Bobby Lashley vs. Matt Riddle now official for Battleground.Pac vs. Adam Scherr w/ AleisterPac is in the ring waiting for the match the start but as Adam Scherr makes his way down to the ring, we hear CM Punk’s voice. Punk is on the video wall, “Ohhhh Aleisterrrrr……remember when I told you to pay attention to me? Well look what’s happened to your boy!!” Scherr and Aleister turn around and we see Killer Kross laid out backstage! Punk continues “Now I’d love to take credit for this buttttt…..I did warn you that I’m not fighting this battle alone. See you at Battleground…..” Punk waves to Aleister via the video wall as Aleister and Adam Scherr run towards the backstage area. This leaves Pac alone in the ring until AJ Styles appears from behind! Styles lines Pac up and Pac turns right into a phenomenal forearm!! Styles hammers away on Pac as officials yet again pour out from the back! This one is a no contest! We see a promo video for Battleground, then when we come back Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness talk about next week’s go home episode of Warfare just a few short days before Battleground! They announce that next week we will see Drew Galloway taking on Kevin Steen and Prince Devitt taking on Sammy Guevara! Two huge matches announced so far as well as the PWU World Champion Aleister and CM Punk being at next week’s show!
We go to the ring where they are set up for the contract signing between NWA Champion Nick Aldis and Jon Moxley. The signing is being overseen by GM Stu Bennett and NWA President Billy Corgan. Aldis comes to the ring first with the NWA Championship around his waist. Moxley makes his entrance through the crowd and enters the ring in his usual fashion. Bennett immediately tells Moxley not to embarrass PWU in this contract signing which is met by Moxley gesturing to Bennett. Aldis speaks first, running down Moxley for not befitting the NWA and stating that he doesn’t deserve to hold this prestigious title as he is nothing but a punk and would drag the NWA name into the gutter if he was to represent them as their champion. Moxley speaks and states that ever since he was a kid, he watched the NWA and knows exactly what it takes to be a champion. Moxley states that it’s time the NWA was brought into a new edgier era and it could do much better than to have a corporate ass kisser as their world champion. Both men sign the contract and Moxley goes to leave but Aldis attempts a sneak attack but Moxley sees it coming and the two men brawl! Corgan and Bennett try to break it up but to no avail. Eventually Moxley comes out on top, driving Nick Aldis through the table with the Paradigm Shift! Bennett is seething as Moxley picks up the NWA Championship and dumps it on top of Nick Aldis’ prone body!
We go backstage where Kayla is standing by with The Bullet Club. Galloway talks about how important this match is tonight for momentum going in to the Battleground Match. Galloway states that The Bullet Club will do anything to gain an advantage in the Battleground Match even if it is only mere minutes. Galloway says sarcastically that the sit down interview with Ranallo and the OG Bullet Club that aired earlier really tugged as his heart strings before chuckling and saying it showed how pathetic that the “OG’s” are and they should be nowhere near The Bullet Club name. Galloway states that they are stronger than they have ever been and they proved that at Spring Sacrifice back in April. Galloway says tonight will be no different and he and Adam Cole will show their dominance tonight. The Bullet Club (Drew Galloway and Adam Cole) vs. The Good Brothers - The winning team wins the third entry in the Battleground Match for their teamA big main event here to close this week’s Warfare. Both teams start brawling before the bell even sounds and throughout the match there are numerous occasions where all four men get involved in the match. Cole and Galloway do a good job cutting off the ring, not allowing Karl Anderson to tag in Doc Gallows. The tide turns however when Drew misses a Claymore attempt to Anderson, allowing Anderson to tag in Gallows! Gallows enters the match like a house on fire with multiple clotheslines to both Drew and Cole. The match continues to be a back and forth encounter until the closing moments where Cole goes for the Panama Sunrise but is instead back dropped by Gallows! Drew comes in but is intercepted by Anderson and thrown to the outside! The Good Brothers hit the Magic Killer to Adam Cole resulting in Gallows covering for the three count!! The OG’s will get the third entry in the Battleground Match! Galloway is seen with his hands on his head staring into the ring as The Good Brothers celebrate their win! McGuinness on commentary questions how this loss may damage the Bullet Club psychologically going in to the Battleground Match as Warfare goes off the air!

Now I can't stop thinking about Lashley and Riddle being "Brobbies".

June 24th 2021A video package airs showing clips from last week’s show, including Punk taunting Aleister and the Killer Kross beatdown, the contract signing between Nick Aldis and Jon Moxley and The Bullet Club’s loss to The Good Brothers.
Warfare emanates from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland just a few days before PWU presents Battleground! We are welcomed by Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness as they run down tonight’s matches including the leader of The Bullet Club Drew Galloway taking on Kevin Steen in our main event as well as Prince Devitt squaring off against the number one contender for the International Championship, Andrade! The leaders of both teams in that Battleground Match in huge matches tonight! The Anarchy (AJ Styles and Adam Scherr) vs. Pac and a mystery partnerBefore the match, Pac announces that he doesn’t need a partner for this match so he hasn’t got one. This is now a handicap match. On commentary, Mauro Ranallo announces that AJ Styles will take on Pac this Sunday at Battleground! Pac puts up a valiant display against The Anarchy, he tries to kick away at the legs of Adam Scherr but to no avail as Scherr just throws him in the corner and follows up with a huge clothesline. For the majority of the match, Scherr dominates Pac but Scherr misses a corner splash which allows Pac to gain some offence. Styles gets in to the match and has a good run of offence but Pac kicks AJ in mid air after a Phenomenal Forearm attempt! Pac dominates AJ for a while but eventually Styles makes the tag to Scherr and the man advantage is too much for Pac as Scherr drills him with the running powerslam for the three count! Huge win for The Anarchy! We go backstage where The Bullet Club are arriving. Kayla catches up to them and asks if there is some dissension in the ranks after last week’s result. Drew looks pissed off and tells her that The Bullet Club are unbreakable and last week The Good Brothers got lucky. Drew says their luck will run out on Sunday.Matt Riddle vs. Shelton BenjaminAs Riddle is making his way down to the ring for this one, Bobby Lashley attacks him from behind! Lashley pummels Riddle on the ramp and throws him in to the barricade! Lashley picks Riddle up and hits him with a Dominator on the outside of the ring! Lashley rolls Riddle into the ring and tells the ref to ring the bell. Benjamin looks surprised but he picks Riddle up and hits the Paydirt! Benjamin covers, 1…….2…….3. Benjamin gets the win with a huge assist from Bobby Lashley! Lashley raises Benjamin’s hand and they leave together. Ranallo on commentary speculates on the relationship between Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. We go backstage where Mickie James is talking with her husband Nick Aldis. Aldis tells James that she is the next Women’s Champion but all of a sudden, Lexi Kaufman interrupts. Lexi tells James that she has no right in getting a title opportunity on Sunday and that she has just walked into PWU and gotten what she wants thanks to her relationship with Nick Aldis who is friends with Stu Bennett! James calls Kaufman a wannabe and Lexi is just jealous because despite being younger, she’ll never have the career that Mickie James has had! Aldis chuckles just before the two ladies brawl in the hallway! Stu Bennett arrives and helps Aldis break it up and tells Kaufman she needs to watch her mouth. Bennett books Kaufman and Mickie James for tonight.Prince Devitt vs. ‘El Idolo’ AndradeThis is a great back and forth match, lots of reversals and counters throughout. These two have good chemistry in the ring. At one point, Andrade goes for La Sombra DDT but Devitt counters it and hits the 1916 instead! Devitt goes for the Coup De Grace but Andrade moves and sweeps Devitt’s legs away so he lands on his front before dropkicking him to the corner and executing a double knee strike! Andrade hits a top rope reverse DDT which earns him a near fall. Andrade works over Devitt from here on but Devitt gets back into the match after ducking and clothesline attempt off the ropes and coming back with a slingblade. Devitt hits another slingblade, followed by a Pele kick! Devitt heads to the top rope for the Coup De Grace but is distracted as on the video wall, we see The Bullet Club are attacking the OG’s in their locker room! Devitt jumps down off the ropes and sprints to the backstage area resulting in a count out win for Andrade! The camera follows Devitt who makes it back to the locker room but The Bullet Club have already done their damage! The Good Brothers and Kenny Omega have been laid out just days before Battleground!! The commentary team talk about the chaos so far tonight with brawling all over the arena. Ranallo questions whether anybody will even be fit for Battleground at this rate!Lexi Kaufman vs. Mickie James w/Nick AldisBefore the match, Lexi Kaufman reveals that Jon Moxley is going to be in her corner for this match! Moxley comes down and stands in Kaufman’s corner. The match itself is a fairly even encounter, a good showing from both women. Kaufman thinks she has the match won when she heads up top for the Twisted Moonsault but Aldis pulls Mickie out of the way! Kaufman becomes distracted and approaches Aldis, but Mickie gets to her feet and nails Kaufman with a kick to the head and then a jumping tornado DDT for the three count! Moxley goes to approach Aldis, but Aldis and Mickie sprint up towards the back! Moxley checks on Kaufman before signalling to Aldis who is on the stage, that he is going to be the new NWA Champion after Sunday. There is yet another attack backstage! This time we see Adam Scherr laid out backstage, nobody knows how this happened. We see the PWU World Champion Aleister asking people around if they saw who did this? Aleister approaches the camera and talks directly in to it. “Punk I know this has something to do with you…..you wanted my attention and you have it. The worst thing you could do….is have my attention! At Battleground….” We see Aleister fall to the ground and the camera pans up to CM Punk! Punk stomps away on the champion and taunts him! “Not so tough without your boys huh? This Sunday, I’m taking this title!” Punk locks in the Anaconda Vice as officials eventually get him to release the hold! Punk walks off laughing as Adam Scherr and Aleister are both laying side by side. At the end of the shot, we see AJ Styles arrive and check on his fallen Anarchy members.
We go back to the ring and Stu Bennett comes out looking stressed. Bennett grabs a microphone “STOP!!! Stop this right now!! Tonight has been bloody chaos, fighting all over the arena, people being laid out left right and centre. I’m all for competition but we have a pay per view on Sunday!! We can’t put on a pay per view if everyone is in hospital so from now on, if ANYBODY attacks or assaults anybody outside of a match between right now and Battleground, then they will be suspended on the spot! Which means no Battleground match! I hope I’ve made myself clear…..” Bennett throws the mic down and storms back to the locker room.
The commentary team run down the final card for Battleground including the match announced at the top of the show tonight, AJ Styles versus Pac.Drew Galloway w/The Bullet Club vs. Kevin SteenBefore the match, we see the Xcite Champion Sammy Guevara watching this match backstage. Steen really shows fight in this match, not backing down from Galloway at all. At one point in the match, Galloway goes for the Claymore but Steen counters it in mid air with a spinning side slam! Steen hits a double jump moonsault but only gets a two count. Steen waits for Galloway and goes for the Stunner but Galloway reverses it with a full nelson slam. Galloway takes control and in the closing moments, counters a Pop Up Powerbomb attempt and follows up with a Claymore! Galloway covers and gets the three count. Guevara applauds backstage, loving what he sees. After the match, The Bullet Club celebrate Galloway’s victory in the ring. Then we see the OG Bullet Club make their way down to the ring! Devitt, Omega and The Good Brothers showing their injuries from the earlier attack stand on the opposite side of the ring to the Bullet Club! The Bullet Club taunt the OG’s trying to goad them into attacking them! The OG’s look ready for a fight but instead they point trigger fingers towards The Bullet Club. Ranallo exclaims “Are two rings going to be enough to be able to contain this fight at Battleground!!” as Warfare goes off the air!!

I wish you did each show as it's own post. I almost started commenting on the first one from like 4 months ago. It amuses me how I always felt I was a wrestling fan, but almost every match you do has people in it I don't know.
Even though I have no idea who BB Crawford is....Mickie James v Rhea Ripley= gold.
I love the use of Lashley, who has never been used right in WWE. (Even as champ, he's barely on the show.)

Thank you for the feedback, the wrestlers in this fed are real wrestlers but with names I’ve made up or former indie names. I use these as they don’t work for WWE in my world so I try to keep it semi realistic by giving them a different name. BB Crawford is Bianca Belair….BB for Bianca Belair and Crawford as that’s her married name, she’s married to Montez Ford (Ken Crawford real name)

Three of my favorite female wrestlers of all time. Only way I can think of to make it better is to add my fourth: Roxxy Leveau
