5th August 2021Warfare is live on the road to PWU Blood In The Sand! Warfare this week emanates from the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia! We go to our announce team as the pyro explodes, Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness!Ranallo: ”We continue on our road to our biggest show so far, Blood In The Sand! Tonight, Samoa Joe continues his battle with The Anarchy as he faces Brother Levi one on one!”McGuinness: ”Also tonight, we’re rolling out the red carpet as our President, Davey Williams is here with a very exciting announcement for his first appearance on Warfare! Let’s get to it Mauro, tag team action kicking us off!”Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin vs. D.I.YLashley dominates early on, using his power to decimate Gargano. Lashley throws him into the corner and drives his shoulders into the mid section before throwing Gargano across the ring. Lashley stalks Gargano before knocking him down with a jumping superkick. Gargano desperately needs a tag as Lashley continues to dominate. Lashley tags in Shelton and he picks up where Lashley left off with stiff kicks in the corner. Benjamin goes for a german suplex but Gargano lands on his feet and hits Shelton with a running calf kick followed by a dropkick and a snap suplex. Gargano makes it to his corner and Tommaso comes in like a house on fire! Tommaso takes control of Shelton with his aggressive style and takes over the match. Tommaso hits his signature moves, over the shoulder piledriver, backbreaker and a running knee smash into the corner! Tommaso and Gargano go for the stereo knee attack from the corners but Lashley rushes in and intercepts Tommaso with a Spear! Gargano tries to attack Lashley but Lashley throws Gargano over the top rope! Lashley hits another huge spear on Tommaso but just as Shelton is about to cover, we see Matt Riddle on the video wall! We see a training montage of Matt Riddle working over pads with kicks and strikes. This distracts Lashley and he laughs at the video shouting “he aint beating me!” but in the meantime, Tommaso rolls up Benjamin, 1…….2…….3!! The D.I.Y steal one! Lashley is furious in the ring and heads to the outside and starts throwing the steel stairs and destroying furniture around ringside! We go backstage where GM Stu Bennett is awaiting the arrival of the PWU President Davey Williams! Bennett looks a little nervous when a car pulls up. Instead of Mr Williams, it’s CM Punk arriving! Punk gets in Bennett’s face, “Surprised to see me I bet Stu? I’d be surprised to see me too if I were you considering I have been doing NOTHING for two weeks!” Stu tries to interrupt but Punk continues talking “Do you know who I am…..I’m the best in the world! I’m the biggest draw to this damn company but I realise that talking to you seems pointless as you are a ‘yes man’ to Mr Williams. Well, I may just have to meet Mr Williams myself…..later tonight….”Ranallo: ”CM Punk not happy with PWU management at the moment! Surely he won’t confront Mr Williams later tonight!?”McGuinness: ”I can’t blame him for being upset! A man with his talent just cast aside since losing his title match against Aleister at Battleground and now he’s been put in a match at Blood In The Sand and he doesn’t even know who he’s facing!?”Samoa Joe vs. Brother LeviJoe comes out and immediately goes to work on Levi with stiff strikes and chops! Joe goes for a spinning lariat but it’s blocked and Levi kicks Joe repeatedly in the gut before whipping him off the ropes and catching him with a jumping back elbow sending Joe to the mat! Levi looks good as he continues to try and keep Joe grounded putting the boots to him and locking him in a chin lock. Joe tries to get near the ropes but before he does, Levi brings his weight down on to Joe’s back. Levi continues with the chin lock but Joe gets a head of steam and gets to his feet with Levi still on his back! Joe rams Levi into the corner and hits him with a series of strikes, backhands, slaps and kicks to the legs. Joe hits a nice release belly to back suplex and gets a near fall. Joe whips Levi into the corner and hits an elbow smash, leaving Levi laying in the corner. Joe follows up with the running boot right to the face! Joe measures him up for the Coquina Clutch but from behind, Killer Kross enters the ring and attacks Joe from behind! The referee calls for the bell for a DQ and Kross locks Joe in the Kross Jacket! Kross takes Joe to the mat and renders him unconscious! Levi puts the boots to Joe while he is still in the hold and The Anarchy continue their beatdown. Suddenly, we see Jon Moxley arrive through the crowd armed with his barbed wire baseball bat! Moxley rolls into the ring but The Anarchy get out of dodge just in time as Moxley starts swinging the bat! Ranallo: ”The Anarchy yet again with a beatdown but yet again they run away when Jon Moxley arrives!”McGuinness: ”Mauro, I’m just hearing in my ear that later on tonight, Jon Moxley will face Killer Kross in the main event!! That’s come from the office of Stu Bennett! Big main event here tonight!”
We go to a promo video for Blood In The Sand focusing on the Kenny Omega/Drew Galloway match. Kenny talks about what this match means to him and how this is the biggest match of his career so far as he knows he has to win.
We come back at The Bullet Club make their way down to the ring led by Drew Galloway! Drew talks about his match with Kenny Omega and states that he would love nothing better than to end the career of a so called wrestling legend. Galloway states that he will send Omega back in to obscurity just like he did when he reformed The Bullet Club at Revolution. After a few minutes talking, Galloway welcomes The Good Brothers back to The Bullet Club and hands the microphone to Karl Anderson. Anderson explains that after Battleground, The Good Brothers knew how strong The Bullet Club were and how much better they would be if The Good Brothers were to rejoin. Karl states “If you can’t beat them…..join them!” and he believes that Kenny Omega should swallow his pride and do the same. Anderson hands the mic to Matt Jackson and he then addresses Santana and Ortiz. Jackson states there is no way The Bucks are losing their titles at Blood In The Sand and Santana and Ortiz don’t deserve the shot in the first place! The Bucks state that Santana and Ortiz should be cleaning their hotel room somewhere! This garners heat from the fans. Matt Jackson states that The Bullet Club are now stronger than ever with The Good Brothers coming home and life in The Bullet Club camp is too sweet!Ranallo: ”The Bullet Club more confident than ever after the return of Gallows and Anderson to their ranks!”Kevin Steen (Xcite Champion) & Ricochet vs. Pac & Rey FenixA fast paced tag team match here with the Xcite Champion in action! Ricochet and Rey Fenix start the match with plenty of flips and reversals. Ricochet goes for a high cross body but Fenix counters with a mid air dropkick sending Ricochet to the mat with impact! Fenix works on Ricochet before tagging Pac into the match, and he immediately slows the pace delivering hard kicks to Ricochet in the corner followed up with a release german suplex. Pac locks in a surfboard with Ricochet writhing in pain but Steen rushes in and breaks it up! Pac continues his methodical approach to the match and kicks away at Ricochet’s legs. Pac goes for a leg sweep but Ricochet jumps over and hits a legdrop to the back of Pac’s head! Ricochet follows up with a standing shooting star press and a standing moonsault for a near fall. Ricochet delivers forearms before whipping Pac off the ropes and catching him with a hurricarana! Ricochet hobbles over to his corner and tags in Steen. Steen goes to work on Pac with huge right hands and throws him into the corner. Steen controls the match for a while hitting a series of moves including his cannonball in the corner and a nice double underhook piledriver spiking Pac on his head! Steen tags Ricochet who goes to the top rope for the 630 splash but Fenix pushes Ricochet from the top and he crashes below into the barricade! Steen goes after Fenix but Pac recovers and hits a devastating roundhouse kick to Steen and follows up with the Brutaliser! Steen eventually taps, and Pac picks up the win over the Xcite Champion! McGuinness: ”A massive win for Pac, and a psychological advantage going in to that title match with Kevin Steen at Blood In The Sand!”
We go backstage where Stu Bennett is waiting in the car park, when a limousine pulls up! Bennett rushes to the car door and opens it and outwalks the PWU President Davey Williams! Bennett and Williams shake hands and Bennett offers Mr Williams a drink to which he replies “That’d be great Stu. Now let’s go to your office and talk business….”Ranallo: ”Mr Davey Williams has arrived! What will his announcement involve later tonight!?”Adam Cole w/Dr Britt Baker vs. Frankie KazarianCole and Kazarian lock up with Kazarian coming out on top backing Cole into the corner. Kazarian goes for a clean break but Cole slaps him in the face! Kazarian is rattled and tries to attack Cole in the corner but Cole moves out the way and lands repeated kicks to Kazarian’s mid section. Cole whips him off the ropes and catches him with a falling hiptoss. Quick cover but only a two count. Cole hits a nice neckbreaker and continues to control the match until Cole tries to hit a shining wizard but a standing Kaz moves out of the way and Cole crashes to the mat! Kaz follows up with a bigtime dropkick and then a falling clothesline. Again a near fall. Kaz is on offence for a while and hits Cole with a body slam followed by a springboard legdrop. Kaz goes for the Unprettier but Cole reverses it and hits yet another neckbreaker and this time connects with the shining wizard! Cole hoists Kaz on his shoulders and hits a fireman’s carry neckbreaker and covers but again only a two! Cole waits for Kaz to get to his feet and hits a jumping enziguiri before heading to the middle rope. Cole jumps and hits the Panama Sunrise on to Kaz! Cole hooks the leg, 1……2…..3! Baker comes in to the ring to celebrate with Cole but we hear Mickie James “Stop stop stop! Don’t get carried away!” The fans boo as Mickie and Nick Aldis appear on the stage with a microphone. Mickie continues “See you celebrate now but Britt, can you really trust this man to be your partner?…..I mean we all remember what happened at Battleground but in case you don’t let’s take a look!” On the video wall we see highlights from Battleground where The Good Brothers dropped Baker with a Magic Killer on the ramp in a failed attempt to make Adam Cole surrender. “See Britt! How can you trust him to be your partner in life when he wouldn’t even lose a match to save your body from going through that!?” Aldis takes the mic “That’s right Britt……I mean I wouldn’t dream of putting Mickie in harms way however that’s because I am a real man and not a selfish dwarf like your boyfriend….” Adam and Britt look at each other and nod before heading up the ramp and the fight is on! The four of them brawl on the stage and Cole hits a huge superkick on the NWA World Champion! Referee’s and security come out to keep these two couples apart! Ranallo: ”Mickie and Nick Aldis trying to get into the heads of Adam Cole and Britt Baker ahead of that winner take all match at Blood In The Sand!”McGuinness: ”Mickie does bring up a good point though, can Britt trust Adam Cole after he allowed her to nearly have her neck broken at the hands of the Good Brothers at Battleground!? They may have just started to creep into the heads of Cole and Baker ahead of their match….”
We go backstage where Davey Williams and Stu Bennett are watching the show “Damnit Stu that was chaos out there! You sure you’re the right man to control this place? I mean this isn’t the first time there’s brawls all over the place, I mean it’s like martial law out there!” Stu responds “Mr Williams, rest assured that any disorder that happens here is dealt with accordingly. Both men and women will be fined for what just happened out there, last thing I want is for you to get the impression that this place is out of control under my leadership…” Mr Williams responds “Okay Stu well I hope you’re right…” Mr Williams sips his drink and they continue watching the show with Stu Bennett looking nervous.Jon Moxley vs. Killer KrossMoxley enters first through the fans and Kross enters second. Moxley wastes no time and hits a suicide dive through the ropes onto Kross while he is making his entrance! The fans go nuts as Moxley hammers away on Kross with hard right hands while they are on the floor! Moxley picks him up and whips him hard into the stairs! Moxley doesn’t give Kross any room to breathe as he straight away chokes him against the stairs. Moxley rolls Kross into the ring but pulls his torso under the bottom rope to deliver a stiff apron elbow into the chest area of Kross! Moxley gets into the ring and goes after Kross but Kross takes Moxley down and hits hard strikes of his own. Kross deadlifts Moxley off the mat and hits a german suplex! Kross continues to show his power, hitting a gutwrench suplex. Kross backs away and waits for Moxley to get to his feet before hitting him with a hard bicycle kick knocking Moxley back down! Kross dominates Moxley for a while, ramming his shoulders into Moxley in the corner before hitting a release belly to belly suplex. Kross looks increasingly confident as the match goes on, Kross using his size and strength to keep Moxley down. Kross looks as though he has the match won until he goes for the Kross Jacket but Moxley reverses it into a back suplex! Moxley slowly gets to his feet and nails Kross with stiff forearms to the face followed by a huge rope bound lariat! Moxley locks him in a camel clutch but after a short period it is reversed as Kross backs Moxley into the corner before setting him up for a powerbomb and dropping Moxley almost on his head! This only gets a near fall. Kross waits and locks in the Kross Jacket! Moxley struggles and hits a low blow with the ref’s vision blocked! Moxley turns around, Paradigm Shift! 1…….2……3! Moxley once again gets the better of The Anarchy! Not for long however as we see the PWU Champion, Aleister charges out to the ring! Aleister nails Moxley with the title belt, busting him open! Aleister then waits for Moxley to get to his feet before hitting the Midnight Mass kick right to his jaw! Aleister smirks as he and Killer Kross make their way to the back leaving his challenger bloody in the middle of the ring! Ranallo: ”Aleister has left the challenger laying in a bloody mess ahead of their title showdown at Blood In The Sand!”McGuinness: ”Tonight, The Anarchy have left Samoa Joe and now Jon Moxley laying in the ring….a huge statement sent out to the rest of the locker room in PWU!”
We go backstage where Mr Davey Williams and GM Stu Bennett are on their way out towards ringside for the huge announcement!Ranallo: ”We are about to hear from Davey Williams who is here to make a huge announcement but first let’s talk about next week’s show! Next week WILL be the return of the International Championship open challenge, we were supposed to have that tonight however it was cancelled due to time needed to Mr Williams announcement. We have also heard in the last few minutes that next week, the NWA World Champion will face the leader of The Bullet Club Drew Galloway in a non title match! That’s a huge match next week!”McGuinness: ”Also next week, Karl Anderson will battle Kenny Omega! What a match that will be, huge show next week on the road to Blood In The Sand!”Mr Davey Williams AnnouncementGM Stu Bennett accompanies Davey Williams to the ring and he gets a huge ovation with PWU chants echoing throughout the arena! Davey looks emotional as he takes the microphone “Thank you all for the warm welcome, you guys are the best wrestling fans in the world!!” The fans cheer loudly at this. Williams continues “We have had a hell of a start this year and I’m proud to have each and every one of those men and woman on my roster and the talent here is incredible. Unfortunately though, despite how pleased I am with the business, I do have a couple of issues I need to clear up. This relates to you Mr Bennett……” The fans cheer as Bennett looks nervous “Stu, I’ve watched you abuse your power over the last few months, make bad decisions and lose control without restoring any order in this place! Now while I think you could do a good job in the future, I’m going to be here for a few weeks to supervise you and supervise this show. Also there is a wrong I need to right and that involves Kevin Steen. You’ll remember how you banned Kevin from fighting for any World Championships here in PWU but credit where credit is due, Kevin saw a loophole and won the Xcite Championship. Here tonight however, I’m pleased to announce that Kevin Steen is now eligible to challenge for ANY PWU Championship!!” The crowd cheer as Bennett looks to the floor and shakes his head. Williams continues “Now for my main announcement…….due to the depth of talent on our roster, I consider it only fair that each man and woman in the back get a chance to showcase their talent in the ring on a weekly basis. Unfortunately with only 2 hours of programming per week, this makes it very difficult……..until now!! Live from Friday 3rd September, PWU will present a weekly one hour show called Fight, exclusively to the Paramount Network!!” Ranallo: ”That’s huge!!! Another weekly PWU show! Awesome!”Williams continues “I thank you all for your time…..and we’ll see you next week!’’ Davey Williams and Stu Bennett go to leave the ring but we hear ‘Cult of Personality’ over the PA! It’s CM Punk!! Punk comes out to a huge ovation as Mr Williams and Stu Bennett step back into the ring. Punk enters the ring and stares down Davey Williams before taking a microphone. “So you’re the famous Davey Williams, the president of PWU. Well Mr Williams, I have a few questions for you I’m hoping you can answer. Firstly, why am I not featuring on your TV shows!? I’m CM Punk, the best in the world! Surely you’d want to feature the best on a weekly basis right?” Williams responds “Nice to meet you again Phil…..you’re right. You should be featured weekly on our show, as you say you are the best in the world however that’s why you have a big match coming up at Blood In The Sand.” Punk interrupts “Oh yeah my match at the pay per view where I don’t even know who I’m facing!!! Are you guys trying to screw me here!? I demand to know who I’m facing at Blood In The Sand right now!! Or else I’m more than happy to tear my contract up and head back to New York!” Williams smirks and responds as Punk gets in Williams face “Ahhh Phil, you’re going to spoil the surprise but considering we’re already full of big announcements, one more can’t hurt. At Blood In The Sand…….you’re opponent and the newest PWU signee is……….” Williams diverts Punk’s attention to the video wall…. We hear a remixed version ‘Flight of The Valkyries’ over the PA system with the words Bryan Danielson flashing on the video wall!!!! The crowd become unglued and ‘Yes!’ chants echo throughout the arena! CM Punk looks stunned and Davey Williams and Stu Bennett leave the ring as Warfare goes off the air!!!

Alrighty dcw1 - I like the idea of a Mauro/Nigel commentary team - I thought Lashley/Benjamin vs. D.I.Y. was a mismatch on paper and figured they’d only win because of shenanigans and that’s what ultimately happens. Lashley is gonna try to kill Riddle, eh? - A Punk/Davey Williams confrontation would be fun! - Samoa Joe/Brother Levi was the 2nd match in a row to end due to shenanigans, which I wasn’t thrilled with but I understand it can be difficult to advance certain angles without going down that route. I’d try to stay away from doing that back-to-back, though. I love the idea of a Joe/Moxley team - The Bullet Club segment was pretty good (though that racist remark from one of the Bucks was a little strong haha) - PAC getting the pin over Steen ahead of their title match at Blood in the Sand is interesting. I’m not sure I’m in love with that concept, personally, but we’ll see how it shakes out. - Interesting we’re getting Cole/Kazarian here when it’ll be Cole’s first match in AEW haha. Anyways, that match sounded like it would be right up my alley. I thought the aftermath with Micke and Aldis was super effective - Mox/Kross sounded entertaining and enjoyed the Black run-in, though it would’ve been more effective had three of the 5 matches didn’t involve some sort of shenanigans. - Williams with the big babyface announcements followed by the confrontation with Punk was a fun way to end the show. Punk/Danielson is going to be awesome. I really enjoyed this episode of Warfare! Fight sounds like it’s going to be just as good and Blood in the Sand is shaping up to be great, too.

Thank you for your feedback mate, I tried to be very conscious of false finishes here but obviously I still over did it. I’m really tryna build up BITS but now I have Fight too this should be easier. The remarks by the Young Bucks are fully in character and in no way a reflection of any beliefs I have. I’m looking forward to writing BITS, hope you enjoy it.

Missed quite a bit of these due to work. Maybe I'll be able to catch up.
As always, a single match which is worthy of being a PPV all in its lonesome. Adam Cole v Kaz.
Slow clap.

Stunned to see Lashley & Benjamin lose that one. Those two could be a powerhouse tag team, sure it wasn't clean, but it's as close as one can get. I hope you've been noticing the influence your show has had on mine. Love the addition of another show to bring in more rivalries/stories and showcase more talent. That's always an idea to have when making these shows in the back of your head.

12th August 2021The pyro explodes as Warfare is on the air on the road to Blood In The Sand, live from the Spectrum Center is Charlotte, NC! We are welcomed by our commentary team, Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness.Ranallo: ”We are just 10 days away until Blood In The Sand and what a journey it has been! On this week’s show, a huge opening match as the number one contender Jon Moxley teams with Samoa Joe to take on Brother Levi and the returning Adam Scherr of The Anarchy! Plus, we have the return of the International Championship open challenge!”McGuinness: ”You never know who will show up for that! Also tonight, Kenny Omega in action against Karl Anderson and a huge match with the leader of The Bullet Club Drew Galloway, taking on Adam Cole’s opponent at Blood In The Sand….the NWA Champion, Nick Aldis!!”
We go backstage where we see the arrival of the PWU President, Davey Williams! Stu Bennett meets him and Williams greets Bennett. “C’mon Stu, we have work to do…” Bennett follows Davey Williams from the parking lot into the arena looking somewhat trepidatious.Jon Moxley and Samoa Joe vs. Brother Levi and Adam Scherr w/ AleisterA huge match to kick off the show this week! Moxley and Joe disagree about who starts and during their disagreement, Levi and Adam Scherr attack them! The Anarchy take control and Levi and Joe start the match off. Levi hits Joe with clubbing blows and quick teamwork with Adam Scherr keeps Joe isolated. Scherr whips Joe into the corner and hits a corner clothesline before throwing Joe across the ring! Scherr is in control but sometimes he’s shaking his head slightly for no apparent reason. Despite this, Scherr continues his assault and hits a big legdrop and gets a near fall. Scherr continues to show signs of some sort of head injury and tags to Levi. Levi looks confused and Joe takes advantage and hits a dragon suplex followed by stiff kicks. Moxley wants in but Joe is reluctant to tag him in. Joe hits an overhead belly to belly to Levi while on the outside Aleister checks on Scherr and asks him if he’s alright. The match continues and Joe is in control but Levi reverses an Irish whip and Joe is sent into his corner, Moxley tags advantage and tags himself in! Moxley slingshots over the top rope and clotheslines Levi to the mat and executes mounted punches. Scherr rushes in but is met with jumping forearms by Moxley and the match breaks down with all four men brawling! Scherr takes control of the match and knocks Moxley over the top with a big boot. Scherr is about to hit Joe with a running powerslam but Scherr just drops him and shakes his head again as if he has a headache. Nobody is quite sure what is wrong with Scherr but Levi goes to see if he’s okay. With Levi’s back turned, Moxley recovers and sneaks up behind him and turns him around, Paradigm Shift! Joe clotheslines Scherr out of the ring and Moxley hooks the leg of Levi, 1…..2…..3! Moxley gets the win for his team! Aleister is furious at ringside! Aleister berates Scherr and asks him “What the hell happened to you!!? We don’t show weakness!” Scherr tells Aleister he’s sorry and he doesn’t know what happened to him! Moxley celebrates in the ring but he pulled from the top rope by Joe. Joe slaps him hard on the chest and tells Moxley to get the job done at Blood In The Sand but he’s coming for him next…. We see a promo for a new debutant in PWU! We see a male suplexing other wrestlers in a training ring in black and white footage. We also see him training in the gym before the male begins talking “My Dad was the dog faced gremlin but now I’ll be showing my teeth in PWU….get ready for the next generation…..get ready for the wrecking ball…..Rex Steiner….”Ranallo: ”We are very excited to see the debut of Rex Steiner, a skilled athlete and if his wrestling lineage is anything to go by, he will be a fierce competitor here!”McGuinness: ”Rex Steiner, part of a new influx of talent arriving in PWU, son of the legendary Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner….can’t wait to see what he brings to PWU!”
CM Punk comes out to ringside to a huge ovation. Punk silences the crowd and tells us that he believes what took place last week is the start of a conspiracy theory against CM Punk. Punk unleashes a tirade and on Stu Bennett and Davey Williams believing that they are using him so they can push Bryan Danielson to the moon and yet again another wrestler jumps ahead of CM Punk in the pecking order! Punk talks about his ROH days with Danielson and all the previous matches they’ve had and their friendship. Punk states that he’s hurt that Danielson will come to PWU to try and take what’s his but Punk wont let him do that. Punk won’t just give up his spotlight just because Davey Williams has a shiny new toy. Punk is suddenly interrupted by Christopher Daniels! Daniels music hits and he appears on the stage with a microphone. Daniels asks Punk what’s happened to him and that he is not the CM Punk that he knew. Daniels tells Punk he has turned into a crybaby and he is no longer willing to fight for what he believes in but instead he’ll whine and complain. Daniels talks about their matches on ROH and they pushed eachother to their limits down the years. Punk scoffs at this and asks Daniels how comes CM Punk is still main eventing shows but Daniels is hardly ever on TV. Punk tells Daniels that their careers couldn’t be more different and despite them having similar beginnings, their career trajectories were very different and that’s because Punk is the best in the world! Daniels gets riled up and challenges Punk to a main event match tonight on Warfare! Daniels tells Punk that he’ll show him his career is far from over tonight if Punk has the guts. Punk stalls on his answer before telling Daniels that he is not in his league so it’s a no. Punk goes to leave the ring but outcomes Davey Williams! Williams tells Punk that he’s been complaining for weeks about not having a match but now he has a challenge he’s running away? Williams tells Punk that he and Christopher Daniels will be main eventing Warfare tonight and tells Punk that he better be ready! Punk stands there shaking his head as Daniels looks pleased with himself.(PWU Women’s World Champion) Mickie James (c) vs. Kris Statlander (non title match)Mickie attacks Statlander before the bell and hammers away on her with hard clubs to the back. Mickie whips Statlander hard into the turnbuckle and chokes her with a high foot to the throat. Mickie is in control just toying with Statlander until Statlander catches a roundhouse kick attempt and hits Mickie with a nice T Bone suplex! Statlander follows up with a dropkick and then a hard slam. Statlander waits for Mickie to get to her feet and attempts to catch her coming with a powerslam but Mickie reverses it with a nice armdrag. Mickie then hits a jumping armbar ddt onto her knees! Mickie goes to the second rope and goes for a jumping headscissors but Statlander counters with a sit out powerbomb! Statlander goes to the top rope and goes for the Area 451 splash! Statlander jumps but Mickie gets the knees up at the last second! Mickie catches Statlander with a roundhouse kick right to the back of her head knocking her senseless! Mickie hooks the leg, 1….2….3! James continues to assault Statlander after the match until we see Dr Britt Baker come out and chase Mickie away! Mickie holds her title aloft as Statlander gets to her feet. Baker is frustrated and she hits Statlander with a superkick! Baker then locks in the Lockjaw while she stares at Mickie James down the aisle! We go backstage where the Xcite Champion, Kevin Steen is standing by with Adnan Virk. Steen says he’s pleased that Davey Williams is here and has put right the wrong that Stu Bennett caused, stopping him from challenging for any PWU World Championships. Steen says that in a way he’s glad that he was banned from those titles at the time because it gave him the motivation to win the Xcite Title which to him is as good as any World Championship title but Steen has his sights on holding more than one title in PWU! While Steen is speaking, he is attacked from behind by Pac!! Despite Pac attacking first, Steen shows great resilience and over powers Pac throwing him into the wall and hitting a pop up powerbomb through a table backstage! Steen screams at Pac “You wanna sneak attack me huh!? This is what you get!!! You aint taking my title!!!” Steen storms off leaving Pac laying backstage.Ranallo: ”Kevin Steen is grateful that he can now challenge for World Titles but first he has the little problem of Pac to take care of!”Kenny Omega vs. Karl Anderson w/Doc GallowsThe two men go face to face and Anderson attempts to surprise Omega with a clothesline but it’s ducked and Omega hits Anderson with numerous right hands! Omega takes control early in the match and we see Drew Galloway watching backstage as he prepares for his match against the NWA World Heavyweight Champion later tonight. Omega goes through his repertoire of moves but when he goes for a Kotoro Crusher, Anderson counters it with a spinning side slam! Anderson gains some control and hits Omega with a nice stun gun hanging him over the ropes! Anderson gets a near fall. Anderson continues the assault and chokes Omega on the mat, slapping him in the face numerous times to add insult to injury. Anderson heads to the top rope for an elbow drop but Omega moves at the last second! Both men get back to their feet and exchange punches, Omega hits a nice spinning forearm to Anderson before hitting a blue thunder bomb which only gets a two count! Omega goes for the V Trigger but Anderson catches the leg and counters it with a single leg crab which Omega eventually escapes. Omega sweeps the leg of Anderson and hits a double leg drop onto Anderson’s chest. Anderson rolls to the outside and Omega follows up with a Tope Con Hilo! The crowd are loving it as Omega gets to his feet and rolls Anderson into the ring. Omega waits for Anderson to get to his feet and hits a dragon suplex before charging off the ropes and hitting the V Trigger! Omega covers but another near fall! Both men slowly to their feet again but Omega hits the high knee to the jaw and follows up with the V Trigger! Omega gets Anderson in position, One Winged Angel!! 1……2……3! Omega wins this hard fought match! After the match, Omega looks into the camera “Drew…..this will be you at Blood In The Sand! Kenny Omega will never retire!” We go to the back where Drew Galloway was watching with Adam Cole. Cole tells Galloway “Don’t worry about Kenny, you’ve already proven you have his number and that number will be up at Blood in The Sand. Tonight though, you face my opponent Nick Aldis. Just make sure you leave me some of Aldis after you beat his ass tonight…..” Drew looks at Cole “Y’know Adam I know you and Britt will get the job done at Blood In The Sand …..but here’s an interesting scenario, if I beat Aldis tonight….that makes me a contender to the NWA Championship…..right?” Drew scowls and walks off as Cole looks a little bemused by Drew’s remark.McGuinness: ”Drew Galloway claiming a shot at the NWA Championship if he wins tonight! I don’t think this was in Adam Cole’s plans….”Claudio Castagnoli comes out and talks about how he has changed the game in PWU taking on all comers to his title. He has already proven he is an iron man by the amount of wins he has and he has taken on anybody that has challenged him. Castagnoli says tonight is no different and he is willing to put his title on the line again tonight despite only being 10 days away from his 30 minute iron man match with Andrade! After a brief pause, we hear a remix of ‘2001 A Space Odyssey’ and the crowd go crazy as ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair walks out in his own hometown!!! Claudio Castagnoli’s open challenge for the PWU International ChampionshipFlair is dressed in a grey suit as ‘Woooooo’s’ are heard throughout the arena. Castagnoli looks a little confused as Flair struts down the ramp but from the crowd behind Castagnoli, we see Andrade!!! Andrade attacks Castagnoli from behind! Flair laughs as Andrade stomps away on Castagnoli’s knee, the same one he injured previously! Flair grabs a chair from under the ring and passes it to Andrade. Andrade starts beating the hell out of Castagnoli with the chair as the bell repeatedly sounds! Referee’s and agents from the back pour out as Andrade locks Castagnoli in a Figure Four Leg Lock!! Eventually, Andrade is pulled away from Castagnoli and Andrade holds Castagnoli’s PWU International Title above his head before grabbing a mic and laying next to a stricken Castagnoli. “You see Claudio…..you really need to stop with these open challenges…..cos you’ll never know who’ll show up. Meet my newest adviser……my familia and the real iron man in professional wrestling…..’The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair!!!” Andrade and Flair leave the ring as Castagnoli clutches his leg in pain. Flair holds Andrade’s hand up high as medics tend to Castagnoli’s injured leg! We go to the back where Davey Williams is in Stu Bennett’s office. Davey is not happy “I thought you said you had control of this place! Now, one of our champions is injured ten days before he defends the title in an Iron Man Match! It’s a good job I’m here by the looks of it. Due to what we’ve just seen, Andrade will be punished for that attack and will start the match at the pay per view, one fall down in the Iron Man Match! I’m not going to tolerate that level of underhandedness on my shows!” Stu looks sheepish and nods his head somewhat in agreement.Ranallo: ”Andrade already paying for his misdemeanours! He will go into his match at Blood In The Sand already at a handicap as he will be down one fall from the start!”Drew Galloway vs. (NWA World Heavyweight Champion) Nick Aldis - Non-Title MatchAldis tries to weasel out of this match beforehand telling Galloway that Cole is the weak link of the Bullet Club and he should drop him from the group! Galloway smirks but charges at Aldis with a big boot and sends him through the middle rope! Despite this being a heel vs. heel match, the crowd are more behind Galloway. Galloway and Aldis brawl outside the ring, Galloway maintaining control as he whips Aldis into the ring apron. Galloway rams Aldis’s head into the steel stairs before rolling him back into the ring! Galloway tries to continue his assault but as Aldis backs away, Aldis rakes Drew in the eyes! Aldis takes control and delivers numerous right hands and forearms before executing a drop toe hold followed by an elbow drop to the back of Drew. Aldis wears Drew down with various holds including an STF. Aldis controlling the match nicely. After a while, Drew gets to the ropes but Aldis immediately puts the boots to Drew before lifting him to his feet and hitting a delayed vertical suplex. Aldis covers but Galloway gets the shoulder up. Aldis goes for the cloverleaf but Drew kicks him away and nips up before hitting him with a huge lariat! Galloway regains offence and hots Aldis with hard chops to the chest and catches him with a powerslam after whipping him off the ropes! Drew gets a near fall and the match continues. Galloway gets Aldis to his feet and hits an overhead belly to belly! Galloway waits for him to return to his feet and goes for the Futureshock DDT but Aldis blocks it and reverses it into a northern lights suplex pin! 1….2…no! Galloway kicks out. Galloway gets to his feet and charges at Aldis but Aldis hits a hard spinebuster! Aldis locks in the Cloverleaf and Galloway is in trouble! Eventually Drew makes it to the ropes, frustrating Aldis. Aldis throws Galloway to the outside before landing on him with a slingshot body press. Aldis hammers away on Drew but Drew drives Aldis back first into the ringpost! The ref’s count is up to 7 as Galloway levels Aldis with a Claymore on the outside! Galloway looks like he’ll beat the count but at the count of 10, Aldis holds Galloway’s foot and this one ends in a double count out! Galloway and Aldis continue brawling but outcomes Adam Cole! Cole chases Aldis around the ring but Aldis escapes through the crowd with his NWA Championship belt! Cole shouts to him “You can’t run forever……watch your back Aldis…..you never know where The Bullet Club will show up!” We go to the back where Aleister is berating Adam Scherr! “We already got rid of one weak link in this group! Don’t make me eliminate you as well! What the hell happened earlier!?” Scherr responds “I don’t know…..I’m getting these head-zaps and I’m seeing images like I’m in a time warp….I don’t know what’s happening!” Aleister crosses his hands over “Well get yourself together……there’s no room for the weak in The Anarchy….” Aleister walks off and just as he does he starts hearing voices in his head and covers his ears whispering “This can’t be happening…..this can’t be happening….”Ranallo: ”I’m not quite sure what is going on with Adam Scherr but whatever it is, it’s clearly bothering him….”McGuinness: ”I mean maybe he needs to be checked by a medic? I wonder what he meant by this can’t be happening? I’m not sure I want to know what is in his head right now….”Ranallo: ”I’m sure we’ll get some clarity on that situation soon but let’s talk about next week’s go home show to Blood In The Sand! We have heard from Davey Williams that next week, we will see the contract signing between Nick Aldis/Mickie James and Adam Cole/Britt Baker for their winners take all tag match at Blood In The Sand!”McGuinness: ”Plus next week, Pac will face Jon Moxley in a huge match and PWU Champion, Aleister will be in action against the Xcite Champion Kevin Steen in a champion vs champion non title match to main event! Plus expect CM Punk, The Bullet Club, Kenny Omega and much more next week three days before Blood In The Sand!”Ranallo: ”Hopefully we will also have an update on the conditions of the PWU International Champion, Claudio Castagnoli after his attack by Andrade earlier and an update on Matt Riddle after he was assaulted by Bobby Lashley earlier today during training….let’s take a look at what happened….”
A video plays of Matt Riddle training inside the Octagon cage at his training facility earlier this afternoon when suddenly Bobby Lashley hops the cage and brutalises Matt Riddle ramming him repeatedly into the cage wall and hitting a spinebuster which leads to Riddle spitting up blood! Riddle’s trainers eventually get Lashley away and Police are called. Lashley hurries away from the training facility in a car driven by Shelton Benjamin!McGuinness: ”We hope to hear from Matt Riddle next week….”CM Punk vs. Christopher DanielsWhat a way to end this week’s episode! Daniels extends the hand to Punk before the bell but Punk slaps Daniels and starts the match with several kicks to the ribs of Daniels. Punk whips him off the ropes but Daniels ducks a clothesline attempt and catches him coming back with a flying forearm! Daniels hits a hiptoss followed by a nice armdrag take over into an arm bar. The two men chain wrestle for a period of time, resulting in Punk getting the upper hand, taking Daniels down to the mat in a front face lock. Daniels gets to his feet with the facelock still applied and he attempts to throw Punk off, but Punk counters with a tornado DDT! Punk gets Daniels to his feet and kicks away at him in the corner before charging with a running high knee followed by a bulldog driving Daniels face into the mat! Punk goes for a lazy cover but only a two. Punk remains in control for quite a while hitting a series of nice suplexes as well as a gutwrench falling powerbomb! Punk signals for the GTS but Daniels counters while he is on Punk’s shoulders and delivers a crucifix bomb! That counter changes the complexion of the match and Daniels regains some offence hitting a few dropkicks followed by a firemans neckbreaker across the knee, Daniels covers but another near fall. Daniels hits a standing moonsault before heading to the second rope and hitting the BME! Daniels lands it perfectly and hooks the leg, 1…..2….no! Punk kicks out! This back and forth match continues as Daniels whips Punk into the corner and hits numerous running forearms to Punk before hitting a tornado DDT spiking Punk on his head! Daniels covers, 1………2………nooo! Punk gets his foot on the rope! Daniels calls for the finish and goes for the Angel Wings but Punk blocks it and hits an Alabama slam to counter! Punk staggers towards the corner and climbs to the top signalling for the elbow which he connects with! Punk wastes no time and locks in the Anaconda Vice! Daniels is in trouble here but somehow manoeuvres himself so he’s got Punk in a pinning predicament, 1…..2…..Punk releases the hold! Daniels charges with an elbow but Punk ducks and gets Daniels on his shoulders, GTS connects!! Punk hooks the leg, 1…….2…….3! Punk celebrates his win as Daniels crawls out of the ring defeated as Warfare goes off the air!!

Interesting to see you actually kind of underselling Kenny Omega. Could be you trying to psych us out for when he inevitably dominates.

Interesting to see you actually kind of underselling Kenny Omega. Could be you trying to psych us out for when he inevitably dominates. At the moment, I wanted to do something with Omega didn’t involve him in the title picture as he’s dominating in AEW atm in real life so I figured a storyline with Drew Galloway and The Bullet Club was the way to go. He HAS to beat Galloway, he’s obsessed with this cos he can’t stand it that The Bullet Club have humiliated him twice now. I have a long term plan for Omega in my head.

Ah I see, we disagree on that. I try not to let real life affect my show too much.

19th August 2021Warfare is live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA just three days before PWU’s 4th Pay Per View, Blood In The Sand! The pyro explodes and we are welcomed by Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness!
Ranallo: ”We are just 72 hours away from the hottest wrestling show of the year, Blood In The Sand! Tonight, a double main event as the challenger to Aleister’s World Title, Jon Moxley will battle with the number one contender to Kevin Steen’s Xcite Championship, Pac!! What a match that will be!”
McGuinness: ”That will be big but our main event tonight is huge! Champion versus Champion as the PWU World Champion Aleister, will take on the PWU Xcite Champion, Kevin Steen! Champion vs. Champion, three days before a pay-per-view!”
Ranallo: ”Plus we will show you what took place when Kenny Omega sat down with Adnan Virk for an interview on his upcoming match with Drew Galloway, plus much more in the lead up to Blood In The Sand!”
The show kicks off with the number one contender to the International Title, Andrade! Andrade accompanied by his new adviser, ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair!! Lots of woooooo’s from the crowd as Andrade and Flair make their way down to the ring. Andrade takes a microphone and explains that he chose Ric Flair as not only is he family, but he is also the iron man of professional wrestling! Andrade says “who better to take me to my first major title than a man who has held so many around the world!” Andrade states he isn’t phased by the handicap that Davey Williams imposed last week and that technically it’s now even as Castagnoli will barely be able to walk!Flair takes the mic and starts talking “The Nature Boy is back in the world of professional wrestling, wooooo! You see, I’ve seen Andrade wrestle and I know talent when I see it!! I also know that I am the man to guide Andrade to his first World Title in PWU! To be the man you gotta beat the man and I know that Andrade WILL be the man….starting on Sunday when he defeats that paper champion, Claudio Castagnoli…….if he’s able to compete! Claudio was so stupid last week to be distracted by me stylin’ and profilin’ that he took his eye of the ball, and in the world of pro wrestling, you NEVER know what to expect, woooo! Also…..”
Flair is cut short by Andrade’s opponent tonight, Frankie Kazarian! Kazarian comes out with a mic “Cut the crap Flair! You and Andrade are great at sneak attacks and taking advantage of people huh?…….well let’s see how you get on in a match against me Andrade, right now!” Kazarian storms down the ramp and the match is on!
Frankie Kazarian vs. “El Idolo” Andrade w/Ric Flair Kazarian slides into the ring and takes Andrade down by his legs and hammers away on him with quick right hands! Kazarian doesn’t let up and delivers a series of body slams followed by a dropkick which sends Andrade to the outside! Kazarian uses the middle rope to deliver a springboard body splash to Andrade out on the floor as the ref begins his count! Kazarian tries to whip Andrade into the ring apron but it gets reversed and he ends up smacking back first into the apron! Andrade rolls back into the ring to get some distance between himself and Kazarian. Kazarian slowly makes his way back in to the ring but Andrade takes advantage, stomping away at Kazarian before hitting a gutbuster! Andrade takes control of the match and whips Kazarian in the corner and hits the double knees to the face! Andrade hooks the leg but only a two! Andrade continues to work over Kazarian hitting a nice snap suplex followed by a standing double knee drop/moonsault combo. Flair applauds Andrade on the outside. Andrade goes for a Figure Four Leg Lock but Kazarian counters and kicks Andrade into the ring post shoulder first! Kaz gets to his feet and hits a springboard calf kick which sends Andrade to the mat! Kazarian waits for Andrade and hooks him with a bridging electric chair pin, 1….2….only a two! Kaz goes for a reverse DDT but Andrade pulls Kaz down and knees him in the head a few times before hitting a jumping swinging neckbreaker! Andrade covers, again a near fall! Andrade goes up top for a moonsault but Kaz gets his knees up! Andrade stunned, Kaz goes for the Unprettier but Andrade reverses it, hitting La Sombra DDT spiking Kaz on his head!! Andrade hooks the leg, 1….2…3!
Andrade leaves the ringside area with Ric Flair after the match. Flair talks into the camera “The next International Champion right here!” before the two head backstage.
Ranallo: ”I can’t wait for the Iron Man Match at Blood In The Sand with Andrade challenging Castagnoli, it has a Match of The Year candidate written all over it!”
McGuinness: ”You’re right about that Mauro but another match at Blood In The Sand I’m looking forward to, is for all the gold! Women’s Champion Mickie James teams with her husband NWA World Champion, Nick Aldis to take on the Bullet Club’s Adam Cole and Dr Britt Baker DMD in a mixed tag match! Let’s show you what took place this week on NWA Power!….”
We see footage from NWA Power, where Adam Cole and Britt Baker attacked Nick Aldis and Mickie while they were cutting a promo on their upcoming BITS match! Cole hit Aldis with the title belt, and Britt beat Mickie down with NWA Power ending with both Cole and Baker standing tall with the title belts!
Ranallo: ”What will happen a little later tonight when those four individuals will be in the ring for that contract signing! That’s coming up a little later on….”
Rhea Ripley vs. Shotzi Action from the Women’s Division as Rhea Ripley returns to action! Shotzi starts off quickly, using her quick offence to unsettle Ripley but Shotzi goes for a cross body but Ripley catches her in mid air before ramming Shotzi back first into the corner and hanging her on the rope. Ripley then hits a dropkick to Shotzi’s face while she is hung in the tree of woe position. Ripley unties Shotzi and deadlifts her of the mat to deliver a gutwrench suplex, Ripley covers but only a two count! Ripley picks Shotzi up by her hair and gives her stiff hard chops repeatedly in the corner. She goes for a hiptoss but Shotzi lands on her feet and delivers a nice clothesline to Ripley followed up with a dropkick! Ripley is hung over the middle rope and Shotzi delivers a running senton! Shotzi chants break out as she gains the upper hand in the match. Shotzi hits a superkick but Ripley stays on her feet and goes for a slingblade but Ripley sees it coming and hits a big boot to the face followed by a Ripcord knee to the face! Ripley sets up for the Riptide pump handle and connects with it slamming Shotzi hard to the mat, 1……2…..3! Ripley wins on her return!
We go to the back where we see The Anarchy arriving together, the PWU World Champion Aleister, out in front. Aleister can be hard asking Adam Scherr if he’s ok this week and tells him “I hope we’re not gonna have a repeat of last week are we?” Adam shakes his head and replies “I’m fine….I dunno what happened last week but trust me, it won’t happen again….” As Scherr finishes talking, we see Pac enter the camera shot! Pac gets almost face to face with Aleister before speaking “Just to think…..I could of been part of your group but you chose AJ Styles instead. Where is he now huh?….anyway while AJ is at home nursing his broken ego, I’m here challenging for the Xcite Championship, which brings me to tonight. Aleister, I want you to destroy Kevin Steen for me, I want you guys to leave him laying in a bad way but I want you to leave just enough of him so I can take his title on Sunday. Understood?” Aleister smirks before responding “Who the hell do you think you are Pac? I call the orders around here…..now tonight, I will leave Steen laying but it’s not cos you asked me to. Besides…..I’ll only do what you ask if you do the same to Moxley tonight. Difference is……you don’t have the capability to leave him laying…..” Aleister glares at Pac before leaving, Kross barges Pac on the way past him.
Matt Jackson w/Nick Jackson and The Good Brothers vs. Ortiz w/Santana Singles match up here between two member s of the teams competing for the Tag Team Championships this Sunday! Matt Jackson starts with the advantage after attacking Ortiz before the bell! Jackson hits quick boots in the corner before hitting a step up roundhouse kick right to the head! Jackson hits a northern lights suplex but only gets a two count! Jackson waits for Ortiz to get to his knees before punting him right in the gut. Jackson the measures Ortiz and hits a basement dropkick right to the face while the crowd start to get behind Ortiz. Jackson tries to wear Ortiz down with a sleeper as Santana urges the fans to get behind his partner! Ortiz feeds off the fans energy and carries Jackson on his back before backing him into the turnbuckle! The tide of the match turns with Ortiz getting the upper hand, a series of uppercuts followed by a kick to the gut and a double underhook suplex! Ortiz then hits a falling body splash but only gets a two count. Ortiz gets Jackson to his feet before whipping him off the ropes and catching him with a powerslam! Ortiz heads to the top rope and looks to hit a diving body splash but nobody home as Matt moves out the way! Karl Anderson takes out Santana as Gallows enters the ring and nails Ortiz with a huge falling chokebomb! Gallows pulls Matt across for the cover as Nick jumps down, 1…..2…..3! Matt Jackson has stolen one here!
Ranallo: ”Ortiz had that match won but yet again The Young Bucks needed help to pick up a victory!”
McGuinness: ”We know The Bullet Club work in packs like wolves…..Santana and Ortiz need to be aware of that ahead of Blood in The Sand!”
Ranallo: ”Well Kenny Omega also fell victim this week, let’s show you what happened when Kenny Omega sat down with Adnan Virk for an interview before the big match against Drew Galloway this Sunday….”
We see footage of the interview where Kenny Omega is sat on a sofa opposite Adnan Virk. Omega is asked “Why put your career on the line in this match? Have you thought about what you are going to do if the worst happens and you lose this match?” Omega replies “Adnan, I can’t let any doubt creep in to my mind. I know they have beat me, I know they have humiliated me numerous times but they have never seen me in the frame of mind I’m in right now. This match is all I’ve thought about ever since Revolution, just me versus Galloway inside that ring. If I can’t beat Galloway when this match has been my entire focus, then I should no longer be in the wrestling business. The reason I put my career on the line was because I know I can’t lose!” Suddenly we hear a voice “Aye but you will Kenny….” It’s Drew Galloway and he delivers a running boot right to the side of Omega’s head on the sofa! Virk and others in the room disperse as Galloway beats down Omega! We hear camera men trying to plead with Galloway to stop the beating but he continues hitting Kenny with hard right hands. Galloway takes a seat on the sofa holding Kenny’s head. “You see it’s always the same story Kenny…..you come back….you make empty threats…..The Bullet Club beat you….then you return again. Not this time Kenny, after Blood In The Sand….there is no return! You’ll be beaten into obscurity forever!” Galloway hits him one last time before walking off the set. Virk and various camera operators check on Kenny before Virk screams “Someone call a medic!”
Jon Moxley vs. Pac Two number one contenders for separate titles facing off three days before their respective title matches! Moxley comes out to a huge ovation. Moxley takes control and rams Pac’s head into the steel stairs before rolling him back into the ring. Moxley drapes Pac over the ring apron and connects with a hard forearm across the chest. Moxley waits for Pac to get to his feet and goes for a lariat but Pac ducks it and connects with a spinning heel kick knocking Moxley to the mat! Pac takes control and stomps away on Moxley, dragging both arms behind him and hitting him with a hard curb stomp. Pac covers but only a two! Pac toys with Moxley, slapping him on the back of the head telling him to get up. Pac hits a nice snap suplex and a standing moonsault. Pac again taunts Moxley and hits an impressive deadlift german suplex into a cover, 1…..2…..kick out! Moxley gets the shoulder up in time. Pac stomps on Moxley before heading to the top rope. Both men down as the crowd cheer! Moxley measures Pac and connects with a lariat before hitting an elbow drop. Moxley locks in a bulldog choke on Pac! Pac looks like he’s in trouble but he rolls into a pinning predicament causing Moxley to release it. Moxley kicks him in the gut and hits a Gotch style piledriver! The cover, 1…..2….no! Moxley goes for The Paradigm Shift but its countered into a northern lights suplex! Pac tries to catch Moxley charging at him with a kick but it’s ducked, Moxley hooks Pac’s arms, Paradigm Shift!! 1…….2……3! What a match!
Moxley leaves through the crowd after the match.
Ranallo: ”What a hard fought match!”
McGuinness: ”It was but you have to question, will that match take it’s toll on both men heading into the Pay Per View this Sunday?”
We go backstage where we see PWU President Davey Williams with GM Stu Bennett. “What a match that was! Exactly what PWU is about, two top contenders putting on a great match, just a few days before the big show.” exclaims Williams. Bennett responds “Yes Mr Williams, it really was….now about the champion vs. champion match tonight, I was thinking maybe let’s make that a no holds barred?” Williams laughs “Ah Stu, you think I’m stupid don’t ya? You just still have this beef with Kevin Steen and you want Aleister and his group to kick his ass don’t you? Well that’s not going to happen, especially not three days before the pay per view, I don’t want any of my champions injured. Talking of injuries, any word yet on Kenny?” Bennett responds “Well…..I’ve heard he may of suffered a slight concussion but the doctors have cleared him to compete on Sunday.” Williams responds “Good, glad to hear that. I mean you need to get control of this Bullet Club situation, we saw them cost Ortiz the match earlier, Omega gets attacked in a sit down interview!? This wont do. So at Blood In The Sand, if any Bullet Club members interfere in any of the matches, they will be suspended without pay! Now let’s get ready for this contract signing” Bennett nods his head sheepishly and we go back to ringside.
The contract signing for Nick and Mickie James Aldis vs. Adam Cole and Dr Britt Baker DMD (Winners Take All) We come back from a commercial and the ring is set up for the contract signing for the ‘Winners Take All’ Tag Team match at Blood In The Sand! NWA President Billy Corgan, PWU President Davey Williams and GM Stu Bennett introduce the participants! Nick Aldis and Mickie straight away want to get to Adam Cole and Britt Baker but Stu Bennett gets in the middle of them. We see both title belts the NWA World Championship and the PWU Women’s Championship on the table as Mickie James and Dr Britt Baker sit at the table. Mickie James tells Britt shes making a terrible mistake trusting Adam Cole after what happened at Battleground and as a couple, they will always be losers! Cole takes the mic from Britt and tells Mickie to shut the hell up and that her ‘sympathy’ title reign basically given to her by Stu Bennett will be over at Blood In The Sand! Cole then signs the contract. Baker then takes the mic and questions Nick’s loyalties and asks Mickie “Who do you think will get the blame when you BOTH lose your titles when I pin you for the Women’s Championship? You think Nick will take any of the blame?” Britt then signs the contract for the match. Nick Aldis interjects and laughs before saying “See Britt…..Adam……this is why you should always read the small print before signing. You see even though both our titles are on the line…..only one title COULD change hands. Whoever gets the decision would be EITHER the new PWU Women’s Champion or the new NWA World Champion. Of course it’s hypothetical anyway as neither of you are winning this match so it won’t matter…….right?” Aldis signs the contract.
Britt glances at Adam as they both look pissed. Britt stands up and gets in Mickie’s face but Mickie turns the contract table on her! Cole and Aldis brawl in the ring with Mickie repeatedly striking Britt with the Women’s Title belt! The authority figures in the ring do their best to break it up but more officials pour down from the back to break up the fight! Aldis and Mickie leave up the aisle with a smug look on their face as Cole checks that Britt is okay. Britt sits up in the ring and glares at Mickie through the ropes.
Ranallo: ”Nick and Mickie James Aldis have just outsmarted their opponents there by putting in that clause! Only one title would change hands in that match if either Cole or Baker score the pin!”
McGuinness: ”A very clever move on the part of the Aldis’s, we could very well see some dissension in the pairing of Cole and Baker over who will walk out as a champion!”
Ranallo: ”Breaking news here Nigel…..I’ve just been informed we have Matt Riddle via split screen from his training camp! Matt?”
Riddle: ”Mauro brooo…..hows it going?”
Ranallo: ”We’re all good here Matt, hows the training and more importantly what kinda condition are you in as you face Bobby Lashley Sunday inside an Octagon after he attacked you last week during a training session!?”
Riddle: ”I’ve recovered well bro, I’m super hyped about this match and I thought I’d use this time to deliver a warning to Bobby Lashley. Lashley, I hope you’re listening…..you told me a few months ago to get serious. Well I’ve never been more serious about anything in my life as I am about kicking your ass inside that Octagon on Sunday. You might be able to attack me from behind but trust me when we’re surrounded by that steel and you’re face to face, I’m gonna take you down. As for you Shelton, I advise you not to get into the Octagon because I won’t think twice about making you tap as well….”
McGuinness: ”Thank you Matt Riddle! Coming up after our next break, the champion vs champion main event!!!”
We come back from a commercial and the commentary team than proceed to run down the final card for Blood In The Sand. We also see a promo video for CM Punk vs Bryan Danielson at BITS before we go to our main event!
(PWU World Champion) Aleister vs. (PWU Xcite Champion) Kevin Steen - Non-Title Match Steen shows no fear of Aleister at the opening bell and the two go face to face! Andrade v Kazarian IS a show in itself. Yet again, I don't need to read past match one to give the show 10/10. Well done/

You'll probably never do it, but definitely hoping to see Flair turn on Andrade after he wins the championship.

We go backstage where Adnan Virk is standing by with The Bullet Club’s Adam Cole and Dr Britt Baker! Virk asks whether Adam and Britt can co-exist, given the new stipulation that was added this past week that only the person who gains the pinfall would win their respective title. We are the power couple in PWU and tonight we’ll prove it when I leave Daytona Beach as the NEW NWA World Heavyweight Champion….”Britt interjects “Now sweetie, I know you’re excited about the match but I think you just made a mistake there. We hear someone shout ‘Bryan!’, its PWU President Davey Williams! “Just wanted to say despite the result you had a hell of a match out there and we’re proud to have you in PWU. I think you’ll get to the very top here which is why on this week’s Warfare, how do you feel about being involved in a number one contender’s match for Andrade’s newly won International Championship? I’m all about opportunity and even though CM Punk defeating you does mean he’ll be in contention for the World Championship, we still believe that you should also be involved in a title hunt especially with your performance earlier. So I’m announcing on Warfare this week, it’ll be Bryan Danielson taking on Bobby Lashley and Claudio Castagnoli in a triple threat match. The winner will face Andrade at Fall Of Man, how does that sound?” Danielson smirks and responds “I can’t wait Davey, thank you. Just so you know…….I will be the World Champion in the not too distant future…..but the International Championship is getting a reputation as the second World Title. I wanna make that title THE number one title in PWU and me winning that title automatically gives it more prestige. I can’t wait for Thursday when I show you and everybody else exactly why you brought me here…..”Ranallo: ”How about that, Bryan Danielson despite his loss earlier tonight still getting an opportunity to wrestle Andrade fir the International Championship at Fall of Man!!”McGuinness: ”Well in my opinion you can’t ignore how good Bryan Danielson is, even after a loss, the performance he put in earlier tonight has already earned him respect and a triple threat number one contender’s match on Warfare!”

The last thing he wants to do is get into a brawl with a man like Jon Moxley….”Ranallo: ”Well we cant wait for that but up next……could we witness the final chapter in Kenny Omega’s illustrious career? We knew how much putting his career on the line would motivate him in this match and boy did he show it out there!”McGuinness: ”Kenny Omega knew that losing was not an option tonight and he took that mindset into the match, we saw that when he kicked out of the Claymore, there was no way Kenny Omega was going to lose again to Drew Galloway or The Bullet Club and tonight he proved that he is STILL the best in the world! Ranallo: ”Moxley gave it all he could but the fact is that Aleister is still the PWU World Champion! What a fight….”McGuinness: ”Who can stop Aleister!? Also what the hell is Adam Scherr wearing on his head!?”Ranallo: ”I mean…..we’ve seen that before but…..it can’t be to do with that…..right?”McGuinness: ”I have no idea…but all I know is…what a night this has been, who can stop Aleister!? We’ll see you all on Warfare! Goodnight everybody…”The show fades out with Aleister looking confused as the ominous presence of Adam Scherr is lurking by the stage with the black sheep’s mask on his head.

Just started my read through (will update as I go through). Right away it’s a good set up because Aleister and The Anarchy parallel what I’ve got going on with The Council and The NeXus, so I definitely like the battling against the odds intro we’re seeing here. Will Steen lose one title in favor of another? Obviously I'm a fan of you introducing a television championship, so definitely excited to see what you do with that.

Alrighty dcw1 let's get to it! Review - I LOVED the description of the opening montage. You did a nice job of setting the tone for a big PPV - I thought the opener between Steen/PAC was excellent and I’m glad to see PAC go over cleanly. I also like how well you put over the Brutalizer. Strong stuff here. - I thought the segment with Adam Cole/Britt Baker was okay. I’m generally not a fan of the “can they co-exist?!?!” angles (despite doing a few myself!) but this has some potential. It feels like you’re strongly hinting that Britt screws Adam out of getting the pin, so let’s see if that’s what you have in store… - So the match was fairly interesting: Cole tried screwing Britt from getting the pin but ultimately helps his girlfriend win the Women’s Title and she is understandably annoyed with him. It looks like we’re headed towards a Britt/Cole breakup of sorts, eh? - I am looking forward to the PWU Television Championship tournament. The qualifier matches sound awesome. - I have to ask: is Kross’ new mask the one he wore on WWE television? If so, YIKES lol. Anyways, I really enjoyed this match and felt you captured the style of both men really well. Good stuff. - The interview segment with Flair/Andrade was solid, though I didn’t think you captured the way they speak (especially Andrade). - I LOVED Andrade/Claudio and was a fan of the finish. That was some excellent stuff, bud. I’m curious where Claudio goes next. - Fall of Man sounds like another cool PPV name! - I thought the Octagon match was solid. I’m not big into MMA but it held my interest. I’d like to have seen Riddle pull out the W but, realistically, I don’t think he’d be able to withstand Lashley - Cole vs. Baker on Warfare! Uh-oh! - I really enjoyed Punk/Danielson but was very surprised by the finish. I get that “it doesn’t matter who wins” in this type of high profile match but it definitely takes some of the shine off of Danielson’s debut - Love Rex Steiner debuting! - I agree with Drew: what an absurd question from Adnan lol - I thought Bucks/PnP was really well done! - Danielson vs. Lashley vs. Claudio for a chance at Andrade sounds really good, though I quibble with the idea that two of the three contenders just lost - Omega/Drew was freaking awesome! I think that’s your best match yet and I’m glad Omega pulled out the victory. - I thought the main event was quite good and I’m excited to see Black as the top dog. I’m curious as to what Adam Scherr is up to. Hmm… I thought this was a great show, top to bottom. It was a fun read and every single match held my attention. I thought your booking was fairly strong and I can’t wait for Warfare! Good stuff, brother!

I'm excited to see Joe's war against the Anarchy continue on, since I'm doing something very similar. I wasn't aware that there was a third Steiner out there, so, once again, I owe this show for its educational value.

26th August 2021The show starts out with still images from the BITS pay-per-view with a voiceover from Mauro Ranallo describing the events that took place and how each match ended. Warfare kicks off from the O Connell Center in Gainesville, Florida just 4 nights removed from the spectacular Blood In The Sand pay per view! The pyro explodes as approx. 10,000 fans cheer and are ready for more PWU action tonight!
Ranallo: ”It’s been four days since PWU put on a sizzling night of professional wrestling at Daytona Beach and tonight the PWU momentum train continues to roll as we move towards our next pay-per-view….Fall of Man!”
McGuinness: ”That’s right Mauro, what a show it was this past Sunday but tonight not only will we see the fall out from that show but….also we begin to prepare for Fall Of Man! I can’t wait!
Ranallo: ”Huge matches here tonight, we have two Television Championship tournament qualifiers, as well as that huge triple threat number one contender’s match between Bobby Lashley, Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson, the winner getting a shot at Andrade’s International Title at Fall Of Man! We are kicking things off though with the intergender match as a result of what took place on Sunday, here comes the new PWU Women’s Champion, Dr Britt Baker!!”
Britt Baker makes her way down to the ring with her new Women’s Championship belt. Baker stops half way down the aisle and raises the title above her head to huge cheers from the crowd.
During Britt’s entrance we go backstage where we see her opponent Adam Cole doing stretches to prepare for his match. He begins walking down the hall but he is stopped by fellow Bullet Club members, Drew Galloway, The Young Bucks and The Good Brothers. Drew gets in Cole’s face “Do you have any idea how embarrassing this is for The Bullet Club? Not only did you not bring back the NWA World Championship but you’re now going to have a match with your girlfriend! Have you lost your mind? I am demanding that you reconsider this match…..” Adam gets right in Drew’s face “Drew, I don’t think I could embarrass the Bullet Club any further….especially after how badly Kenny Omega beat you on Sunday. Now stay back here and don’t worry, I’ll take care of Britt and we’ll all be friends when this is done…” Cole saunters off as Drew looks furious.
Cole makes his entrance to a decent ovation the crowd join in with the ‘Adam Cole BayBay!!!’ Cole smiles at Baker, clearly not taking her seriously and Britt just looks away.
Adam Cole vs. Dr Britt Baker DMD (PWU Women’s Champion) Cole tries to reason with Baker before the match and tries to get them both to leave. “Britt this is stupid! We shouldn’t be fighting like this, c’mon let’s get out of here!” Britt looks at him seriously before slapping him across the face imploring him to lock up with her! The bell sounds and the two lock up! However we hear The Bullet Club’s music hit……
Drew Galloway enters the stage accompanied by the rest of The Bullet Club “I tried Adam…….I tried to be nice, I warned you.” Britt and Adam release their lock up and stare at Drew on the stage. Drew continues “Luckily I know you both so well…..I know how competitive you are and I knew this match would go ahead. Unfortunately for you both…..I can’t accept this. I can’t accept you disobeying me, I can’t accept you two embarrassing The Bullet Club any longer, particularly you Adam. This is why I’ve come up with a plan B….” Galloway points his trigger fingers towards the ring and Britt and Adam look at each other, only for Jacob Fatu to enter the ring from the crowd!!! The fans go crazy!
Cole turns around and sees Fatu and approaches him. Fatu takes Cole’s arm and pulls him into a Samoan Drop! Fatu starts stomping away on Cole before hitting him with a standing splash! Britt tries to stop Fatu but Fatu shoves her away! Britt then retaliates and jumps on Jacob Fatu’s back!! Fatu uses his strength and lifts her into a Samoan Drop position before dropping her, landing hard on top of her!!! The rest of The Bullet Club try to reason with Drew as the assault continues in the ring! Fatu lays both Cole and Britt next to each other before hitting a double jump moonsault crashing his huge frame across both of them! Incredible athleticism from the Samoan Savage! Adam and Britt are in the middle of the ring out cold as Fatu surveys the damage he’s done. Fatu approaches the rest of The Bullet Club on the stage and Drew hands Fatu a Bullet Club T-Shirt! Fatu puts it on and the rest of The Bullet Club look disgusted as Drew raises Fatu’s hand to a chorus of boos. Medics pour down from backstage as does PWU President Davey Williams and GM Stu Bennett. We see them attend to the PWU Women’s Champion and Adam Cole. Cole is helped out and Britt is placed on a stretcher. Cole looks devastated as he accompanies Britt to the back as she is being wheeled away.
Ranallo: ”An absolutely disgusting display by Drew Galloway! The former MLW World Champion Jacob Fatu has joined The Bullet Club and has taken out both Adam Cole and his girlfriend Dr Britt Baker!”
McGuinness: ”Drew has expelled Adam Cole and Britt Baker from The Bullet Club and I don’t know whether the remainder of The Bullet Club were happy with the way that went down judging by their reaction! This one is gonna run and run and I just hope that both Britt Baker and Adam Cole are okay…..”
We see a promo for the first episode of FIGHT on September 3rd! It hypes up the Television Title tournament first round matches (competitors still TBC)
Ranallo: ”That’s right PWU FIGHT debuts on the 3rd September with two first round matches for our brand new Television Title!”
McGuinness: ”Talking of the Television Title, it’s time for the qualifiers!”
’The Spanish God’ Sammy Guevara vs. Cedric Alexander (Qualifying Match for PWU Television Championship tournament) This one starts of at a quick pace with numerous reversals and counters. The two men go face to face and Guevara slaps Alexander around the face. Guevara boots Cedric repeatedly before whipping him off the ropes and catching him with a beautiful hurricarana. Guevara dropkicks Cedric to the outside of the ring and follows up with a corkscrew plancha! Guevara hits rams Cedric’s head into the ring apron before rolling him back into the ring. The tide of the match turns when Guevara goes for a springboard clothesline but is caught mid air with a dropkick! Cedric comes off the ropes and ducks a clothesline attempt before executing a back flip headscissors take over! Guevara on dream street as Cedric hits a spinning back elbow followed by a michinoku driver which only gets him a two count! Cedric remains on top and whips Guevara into the turnbuckle but Guevara catches him with a boot to the face and throws Cedric into the corner before hitting an enziguri to the back of the head! Cedric stumbles into the middle of the ring as Guevara jumps and hits a springboard cutter! Guevara with the cover, only a two! The action continues with both men getting in some offence but the match ends after Cedric goes for a floatover DDT but Guevara counters it with a Burning Hammer GTS! Guevara then heads to the top rope, Shooting Star Press! Guevara hooks the leg, 1……..2……3! Guevara is going to the Television Title tournament!
Ranallo: ”A great effort from both men in this qualifying match but it’s ‘The Spanish God’ who will be heading into the tournament’s first round brackets!”
We go backstage to Davey Williams office with Stu Bennett where they are trying to get an update on Dr Britt Baker. We hear Williams on the phone, “Okay thank you doctor” and he hangs up. “Okay Stu, Britt has suffered two cracked ribs at the hands of Jacob Fatu, she’s on her way back to the arena…..luckily her injuries aren’t too severe…” At this point, Mickie James walks in to the office “Awwww poor Britt…..the doctor needed a doctor huh? Haha!…..Anyway, in my contract it states in the event of me holding a championship and losing it, I’m entitled to my rematch at any time I please. So I want my rematch……tonight?” Davey shakes his head “Mickie, you saw what happened earlier, I cannot let you do that….” Mickie grins “Mr Williams……I am contractually obligated to request my rematch at any time. You know what happens when you breach a contract? You get sued! So I’m politely requesting that you accept my rematch for the Women’s Championship tonight!” Davey Williams shakes his head “Well as president I am entitled to change any match as I please in the event of an injured competitor which Britt technically is….so Mickie you can have your match next week.” Mickie doesn’t look happy. “Fine, I guess I’ll have to wait until next week to take back my title….” and storms out the office.
Ranallo: ”Next week, Mickie James vs Dr Britt Baker for the Women’s Championship! I just hope Baker will be ok to compete after what we saw earlier tonight….”
We hear sirens around the arena as we see Kip Sabian already in the ring, and outcomes Rex Steiner! Steiner wears a singlet very similar to his father Rick! The fans give Rex a decent ovation and there is a hot atmosphere in the arena awaiting to see what Rex can bring to PWU!
Ranallo: ”Here we see the debut of PWU’s latest signing……the very talented Rex Steiner!”
McGuinness: ”A great athlete with impressive wrestling lineage, the son of the legendary Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner, this kid could go far Mauro…”
Rex Steiner vs. Kip Sabian Kip Sabian jumps Steiner at the bell but his clubbing blows have no effect on Steiner! Steiner grabs him by the throat and hoists him in the air in a Gorilla Press position before slamming Sabian to the mat! Steiner lets Sabian get to his feet before hitting a big falling clothesline knocking Sabian right back down. Steiner grabs Sabian and hits a series of overhead belly to belly suplexes. Sabian crawls to the corner and pleads with Steiner before hitting a couple of big right hands into Steiner’s mid drift. Sabian hits a nice dropkick staggering Steiner and knocks Rex down with a back elbow. Sabian goes for a standing moonsault but Steiner gets his knees up and hits a body slam followed up with an elbow drop. Rex grabs Sabian by the waist from the mat and hits a dead lift gutwrench suplex. Steiner waits for Sabian to get to his feet before he hoists him in another Gorilla Press position but this time he hits Sabian with a hard spear on the way down to the mat! Steiner covers, 1…….2……3! Impressive debut by Rex Steiner!
Ranallo: ”What a debut by Rex Steiner! Dominant display tonight, he’s gonna be one to look out for!”
McGuinness: ”He sure is and I’ve just been informed that Rex Steiner has been added to the Television Title qualifiers and will take on Rey Fenix next week on Warfare! What a match that will be!”
We go backstage where the PWU World Champion Aleister and the rest of his Anarchy group are on their way out to the ring……next!
We come back from commercials and Aleister is on his way to the ring with The Anarchy! Aleister sits cross legged in the ring with the rest of The Anarchy standing behind him. Aleister takes a mic “On Sunday, I proved to everybody that I am THE force to be reckoned with in PWU by leaving Jon Moxley laying. Despite my victory, I do have something to address and it’s not involving Jon Moxley…..it involves you Adam….” Aleister nips to his feet and turns around to Adam Scherr. “At the end of the title match on Sunday, you appeared on stage wearing that black sheeps mask and I want to know what the hell that meant….” Adam looks at Aleister “I did what!? Aleister I swear to you I have no recollection of that…..” Aleister smirks “Do you think I’m stupid Adam? It seems as though you are plotting against me and you plan to be the one to take my title away from me…..well we don’t like traitors in The Anarchy…..” The Anarchy turn towards Adam Scherr while Scherr reiterates “Boss, I don’t remember doing that! I swear I had no control over that!” Aleister signals for The Anarchy to strike but suddenly we hear Samoa Joe’s music!!
The Anarchy back up from Scherr and their attention turns to the stage where Samoa Joe enters. “Aleister I suggest your attention turns to me rather than what’s happening in your own little group!……I came to PWU to destroy the competition and I’ve started right at the top with The Anarchy….last night Killer Kross fell before me and I am going to destroy you all one by one finally ending with you Aleister…..all Fall Of Man. Ya see….I just come from Davey Williams office and I am officially the number one contender for your PWU World Championship and I will take that title from you on October 9th! You and your boys better run cos Joes…..gonna……kill…….you!” ‘Joe’s gonna kill you’ chants echo throughout the arena as Joe throws his mic down and heads to the back before he is interrupted by Aleister. “Wait Joe!! Don’t go. You wanna run through The Anarchy one by one? Well how about tonight you try and run through my monster Adam Scherr!…..Adam this is one way in which you can show your loyalty to me….Joe, you’ll be lucky if you make it to Fall Of Man!” Scherr glares at Aleister as Aleister smirks at him.
Ranallo: ”Wow! A huge announcement there from Samoa Joe, on October 9th at Fall Of Man, it’ll be Samoa Joe challenging Aleister for the PWU World Championship!”
McGuinness: ”That promises to be a war but that’s if Joe makes it to Fall Of Man as tonight, Samoa Joe faces the monster Adam Scherr!”
Karl Anderson w/ Doc Gallows vs. Johnny Gargano w/Tommaso (Qualifying Match for PWU Television Championship Tournament) This one starts off with a lock up and some nice chain wrestling between the two. Anderson backs Gargano into the ropes but instead of a clean break Anderson delivers a back elbow into Gargano’s face! Anderson puts the boots to Gargano and takes control of the match after whipping him into the ropes and catching him coming back with a nice powerslam which only gets a near fall. Anderson gets Gargano in a grounded sleeper but after feeding off the energy of the crowd, Gargano counters with a side suplex. Gargano then hits a superkick then a dropkick followed by an armdrag which sends Anderson to the outside! Anderson goes to Gallows for advice but Gargano flies over the top rope and delivers a Tope Con Hilo on to both Good Brothers! Gargano rolls Anderson into the ring and rolls himself with him and hits a roll up head kick. Gargano then hits a DDT on to Anderson while he is on his knees, 1……2…..no! Gargano goes for a running dropkick into the corner but hangs himself up in a tree of woe position as Anderson moves out the way! Anderson then drives Gargano to the mat with a hangman neckbreaker from the tree of woe position but again only a two! Anderson gains control of the match and wears Gargano down with European upper cuts followed by a running knee lift. Anderson hits a running senton, covers but only a two. Anderson works on Gargano in the corner and hits a bicycle kick right to the face before setting Gargano up for a top rope superplex. Gargano gets some shots in to the ribs and manages to execute a sunset flip powerbomb! 1……..2…….no! Anderson kicks out! Gargano waits for Anderson to get to his knees, superkick attempt ducked and Anderson rolls through it before catching Gargano coming back with a huge spinebuster! Anderson hooks both legs, 1………2……..3!
Ranallo: ”I can’t believe it! Karl Anderson picks up the win!”
McGuinness: ”A great back and forth match there but Karl Anderson is advancing to the Television Title tournament!”
We go backstage where Adnan Virk is standing by with Bryan Danielson! Adnan asks him how he’s feeling ahead of his upcoming triple threat match with Claudio Castagnoli and Bobby Lashley, of course the winner facing Andrade at Fall Of Man for the International Championship. Bryan tells Adnan that he’s ready to take on anyone that PWU has to offer and despite being up against two great athletes tonight, he’s won big triple threat matches before and he’ll do it again tonight. Adnan then asks him if he is at all psychologically effected after losing his debut match against CM Punk at Blood In The Sand? Danielson is about to respond when suddenly we see Shelton Benjamin come in to shot, “Well well…..if it isn’t the great white hope of PWU, Bryan Danielson. I just think it’s funny that you believe that you’ll actually defeat Bobby Lashley tonight…..tell me Bryan how does it feel knowing that you’re about to lose your second debut match within a week!?” Danielson just smirks before hitting Shelton with a huge right hand! Danielson locks Shelton in the LaBelle Lock as officials scramble to break it up!
Ranallo: ”Bryan Danielson not appreciating Shelton’s input there, Danielson looks ready for that huge triple threat main event later tonight!”
Samoa Joe vs. ‘The Monster’ Adam Scherr w/Aleister The match starts with both men going at it hammer and tongs big clubbing shots to each other. Scherr starts the match with the advantage after driving his thigh into the midsection of Joe. Scherr continues with clubbing blows to Joe knocking him down to one knee. Scherr then takes Joe’s arm and pulls him in to a short arm clothesline knocking him down to the mat! Scherr drops the big leg across Joe and covers 1…..2…..no! Scherr continues his assault and lifts Joe to his feet before whipping him into the turnbuckle. Scherr goes for a corner clothesline but Joe moves out the way causing Scherr to crash into the corner. Joe then hits a standing enziguri to the head which rocks the monster in the corner! Joe hits standing strikes causing Scherr to cover up in the corner much to the displeasure of Aleister at ringside! Joe grabs Scherr by the waist while he’s dazed and Joe hits an impressive belly to belly suplex! Joe covers but only gets a two count! Joe then hits a running senton splash on to the ribs of Scherr. Joe gets Scherr to his feet but Scherr hits Joe with a big elbow followed by a clothesline attempt but Joe catches him and hits a uranagi slamming the monster hard to the mat! Joe waits for Scherr to get his knees before slapping on the Coquina Clutch! Scherr is fading but suddenly finds the strength to get to his feet while the hold is locked in! Scherr backs Joe into the corner breaking the hold! Scherr then hits a series of corner clotheslines to Joe before getting Joe on his shoulders for the powerslam! Scherr suddenly starts shaking his head slightly and drops Joe as he puts his head in his hands. Everybody is slightly confused about what’s happening, Aleister shouting at ringside “Adam!!! Adam what’s happening!” Joe gets to his feet and again locks in the Coquina Clutch to Scherr!! Joe wraps his legs around Scherr and in the end Scherr taps out! Aleister is furious!
Aleister climbs in the ring and goes face to face with Joe before Joe smirks and rolls out the ring. Aleister looks disappointed in Scherr and glares at him laying in the ring before we go to commercials.
We go backstage once we come back from commercials and we see The Young Bucks and The Good Brothers arguing with Drew Galloway as Jacob Fatu stands there! Drew shouts over Matt Jackson “Look I did what I had to do okay!? He was a liability, surely you can see that guys!” Matt shouts back “Adam is our brother and you not only took him out of The Bullet Club but you let this savage take out Britt as well! C’mon Drew, that’s messed up!” Jacob Fatu emerges in front of Drew and gets in Matt Jackson’s face and just stares at him, as Doc Gallows gets in front of Matt and stares at Jacob Fatu. The atmosphere is tense and Drew gets between the two of them. “Okay guys let’s settle down….you know we are stronger with Jacob and this group has always been built on by strength in numbers….we now have this Samaon savage in our ranks, nobody can stop us!” The Young Bucks leave the locker room shaking their head as Doc Gallows glares at Drew and Jacob Fatu as he and Karl join The Young Bucks and leave.
Ranallo: ”Dissension amongst The Bullet Club! After what we saw earlier, I’m not surprised that members within that group took exception to what we saw!”
We see replays of the assault by Jacob Fatu earlier tonight on Adam Cole and Britt Baker, effectively ending their stay in The Bullet Club.
’Cult of Personality’ sounds over the arena as the fans rise to their feet! Outcomes CM Punk!!
McGuinness: ”It’s CM Punk!! Punk is here and he doesn’t look happy!!”
Ranallo: ”Well he should be after that tremendous victory over Bryan Danielson on Sunday! We weren’t expecting Punk out here, I wonder what we has to say?”
Punk storms to the ring and demands a microphone. “Yet again, I feel the need to come out here and make sure you all see me because lord knows you wouldn’t see me if I never made my own decision to come out here!” A smattering of CM Punk chants can be heard from the crowd. “Now this past Sunday, I put on the performance of my career as I defeated Bryan Danielson in his debut match in PWU! After that match, I thought hey now is the time, surely, that CM Punk will be given a World Championship match at Fall Of Man. Then, I unfortunately remembered that Davey Williams has a vendetta against me and what a surprise, I was right, I am yet again overlooked and somehow Samoa Joe who I BROUGHT HERE might I add, gets a title shot before I do! Even better, the guy I beat on Sunday gets a number one contenders match later for the International Title!” The crowd cheer as Punk looks displeasingly as the crowd chant ‘Joe! Joe! Joe!’ “You can chant for Joe all you want, the fact of the matter is, I proved everybody wrong last Sunday and I EARNED my way to a title match despite Mr Williams not giving me a shot and not even booking me for tonight’s show! When will Mr Davey Williams realise that this is NOT how you treat the Best In The World!!”
The crowd give a mixed reaction to this but suddenly we hear Kenny Omega’s music hit the arena! The crowd give collective ‘ohhh’s’ as Kenny Omega enters the stage with a microphone! Punk gestures to Omega to go back to the locker room as “Kenny!” chants fill the arena.
Kenny calmly speaks “You done now Punk? Are you done whining, complaining and boring this crowd to tears? Each week, I hear you coming out complaining about how hard done by you are, you get a match at Blood In The Sand and you win by defeating one of the best in the world but still you aren’t happy? You talk about title matches and how you deserve a shot at Aleister but I think you’re forgetting that I could also lay claim to a title match now that my business with Drew Galloway and the crumbling Bullet Club is concluded. Difference is Punk, is that I’m patient and I’ll wait my turn as I have so much to prove still here in PWU now my career will continue, I still need to prove that I am the best in the world!!!” The crowd erupt once Kenny finishes this line. “You come out here and claim you’re the best in the world and that’s fine but the fact is Punk, to be the best in the world, you have to beat the best in the world and according to the PWI top 500 for 2 out of the last 4 years, that has been me!” The crowd cheer loudly before Omega continues “So Punk you can be obsessed with the gold, or be a crybaby every single week or you can accept my challenge for Fall Of Man to finally see who the best in the world really is! What do you say?” Punk looks at the crowd before smirking “Oh Kenny……you win one match and you have audacity to challenge me to a match? The answer is no! I have more important goals in mind rather than a meaningless match to give you the satisfaction of feeling like your career once again matters….” Punk throws his mic down and begins taunting Omega. Omega shakes his head and walks to the back.
Ranallo: ”CM Punk rejecting Kenny Omega’s challenge! Thats a damn shame because that is a dream match in many people’s minds!”
McGuinness: ”I’d love to see that match but the real question is, where does Punk go from here? Samoa Joe has been named number one contender to Aleister’s title, is he really going to try and force Davey William’s hand into adding him to that match at Fall Of Man!?”
Ranallo: ”I’m not sure Nigel but what I do know is, what a show we have next week! The Women’s Championship on the line as Mickie James challenges Dr Britt Baker DMD, plus Rex Steiner in his qualifier match for a shot in the PWU Television Title tournament taking on Rey Fenix!”
McGuinness: ”Two great matches there, also next week, Bryan Danielson will be taking on Shelton Benjamin one on one after their confrontation earlier plus Keith Lee taking on Ricochet in a Television Title qualifier and more great action next week!”
Ranallo: ”All that and more to look forward to next week but up next it’s the triple threat! The winner gets a shot at the new International Champion Andrade at Fall Of Man!”
Bobby Lashley vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Bryan Danielson (winner gets an International Championship match against Andrade at Fall Of Man) Before the match begins, the commentary team are joined by the International Champion ‘El Idolo’ Andrade and his adviser Ric Flair!
Bryan Danielson and Bobby Lashley enter first and second with Castagnoli entering third. Castagnoli enters the stage but he is dressed in a black suit. Castagnoli has a microphone with him.
“Now I know you all wanted to see me perform tonight and you wanted me to get my title rematch at Fall Of Man but to be honest…..you don’t deserve to see me perform!” The crowd boo as Castagnoli continues “It’s thanks to all of you that I lost my title this past Sunday. I had the match won! I’ve spent months giving you A+ performances, defending my title, taking on all comers, I even brought back RVD for a couple of weeks thanks to my open challenge! What did you all do? You got greedy…..you booed me because I wanted to bide time at the end of my match on Sunday but being the fighting champion I was, I listened to you all and I wound up on the losing end. Well not anymore…..you don’t deserve to see me perform, I’ll just get my rematch another day…..ring the bell!”
As Danielson’s attention is drawn to Castagnoli heading to the back, Bobby Lashley attacks from behind! Lashley with hard clubbing shots to the back of Danielson before throwing him to the mat with a waistlock take down! Lashley stays on the offensive stomping away to Danielson in the corner before repeatedly ramming his shoulders into his mid section. Lashley throws Danielson for a second time with a huge hiptoss across the ring. The fans try to get Danielson back into the match as Bryan tries to create distance between himself and Lashley. Lashley charges at Danielson near the corner but Danielson steps up on to the middle turnbuckle and flips over Lashley causing him to crash into the turnbuckle! This is followed by numerous stiff kicks to the chest of Bobby Lashley as ‘Yes!’ chants echo throughout the arena. Danielson goes for a monkey flip attempt and successfully flips Lashley over sending him crashing back first to the mat. Danielson follows up catching Lashley with a nice arm drag take over and locks Lashley in an arm bar. Lashley is held in the hold for a period of time but after a while he manages to use his power and get to his feet while the hold is applied, lifting Danielson in the air! Lashley hits a huge powerbomb on Danielson and covers but only a two! Lashley lifts Danielson from the and he executes a series of deadlift gutwrench suplexes! Lashley retakes control of the match and whips Danielson into the corner before charging at him with a corner clothesline. Lashley sets Danielson on the top turnbuckle and attempts a top rope overhead belly to back suplex but Danielson counters with a flurry of forearms to Lashley’s face. Lashley staggers back and Danielson jumps from the top rope and hits a beautiful front dropkick sending Lashley crashing down! Both men down and the fans rally behind Bryan Danielson. Both men get to their feet at the same time and Lashley charges at Danielson for a Spear but Danielson leapfrogs it and Lashley goes shoulder first into the corner! Danielson throws Lashley to the outside and waits for him to get to his feet before running off the ropes and going for a suicide dive but Lashley catches Danielson in mid air! Lashley rams Danielson back first into the ring post and then body slams him on the floor outside! Lashley throws Danielson in the ring and goes for the Hurt Lock but Danielson sees it coming and slips out of it and gets Lashley into a roll up, 1………..2……….nooo! Lashley kicks out! Both men charge at each other again but this time Lashley hits a huge spear! Danielson lands hard and Lashley hooks the leg, 1……….2…….noo! Somehow Danielson kicks out! Lashley can’t believe it and hammers the back of Danielson as he tries to crawl to his feet. Lashley gets Danielson in position for a Dominator but hesitates before slamming him, allowing Danielson to climb down behind Lashley and he takes Lashley to the mat and into the LaBelle Lock! Lashley tries with all his strength to get out of it but can’t as Danielson holds on with everything in his being and eventually Lashley passes out giving the referee no choice but to ring the bell! It’s over!
After the match, Andrade climbs into the ring from the announce position and attacks Danielson with Flair encouraging him! Andrade puts the boots to Danielson but out comes Claudio Castagnoli in his suit! Castagnoli rushes down as Andrade backs away from Danielson. Castagnoli helps Danielson to his feet……..but then hits him with the Neutraliser!!
Ranallo: ”What the hell was that!? Castagnoli just sent Danielson face first into the canvas but why!?”
Andrade smirks at Castagnoli and both men start putting the boots to Danielson!! Castagnoli lifts Danielson to his feet and pushes him into Andrade, who hits the La Sombra DDT! Flair rolls into the ring and looks at both men with a grin on his face and raises both their arms! The crowd boo loudly!
Ranallo: ”What the hell have we just seen here!?”
Warfare fades to black.

Kind of glad you played that first match the way you did. Not sure anything would have been gained from that.

Liked the finishing sequence with Danielson and Lashley. Roll up, spear and then the finish that was sick man. Keep the good work up.
