Not the worst wrestling figures in the world, but for the time, effort and price point these would be a pass for me. But some big names here that NJPW fans would want. Wishing this line well and hope they listen to the fan base and develop their product in the future.

For those getting Tanahashi, be careful with the title. For whatever reason, they molded it in black and then painted it white, which might possibly leave the strap pegs prone to breaking if not handled carefully.

Are these figures worth the price? tempted to get super 7 ultimates gallows and Anderson I would say, yes. Most definitely. Initial proto pics RSC posted when they came in stock generated a pretty general negative reaction, but these figures look fantastic in person. Considering articulation, accessories, and the packaging alone, these are well worth it. It might seem like a hefty price, but these are premium figures, and will only retain their value over time. Plus, this being the first NJPW figures that are comparable to other wrestling figures like Mattel, they're awesome. Like with any other line, there is evidence of quality control issues, but I think they are isolated incidents. I don't think you'll be disappointed, especially if you're a fan of the NJPW product! |
