Did anyone collect these and if so what did you think?
I've been thinking about collecting the wave and was wondering how they scale with the Mattel Elites.
If anyone has them, could you post them together. I can't find a comparison anywhere.

Are they from around 2012 or so? I remember being excited at the time but the style & execution was a bit like a poor/cheap version of DA and some resembled TNA Marvel. Quite fun, but definitely of their time.

That's really disappointing to hear, was never a fan of the DA figs. For some reason Sydistiko is really speaking to me. Of all the pics I've seen of them, he seems a lot smaller than the other figures in the line. So in my head he'd fit with my Elites.

Quite fun, but definitely of their time. I feel like I remember seeing them in TRU and being like WTF, other wrestling figures?!? I still remember how I felt when I saw the first TNA figs (Abyss/Jeff Jarrett/Raven/AJ Styles), I was in a trance, couldn't stop looking at them. Always wish they released Wave 9, really wanted the Hernandez figure.

I was pretty excited about the idea of this line when it came out. Never saw a single one at any retail locations. So they were hard to come by then and not even easy today. Not super pricey because they're not really sought after, but definitely not as easy to get as you'd like. Very much like Jakks DA, as noted, but with some guys like Charly Manson/Malice and Super Nova who never got figures in any other official line as far as I can remember. Funny side story, I was actually doing some "street team" promotion thing for the show by spreading posts on social media at the time. They were supposed to give prizes for certain levels of participation. After months I figured it was a loss and forgot about it, then got an email saying I needed to provide all sorts of personal info and my Social Security number to get a Tinieblas figure. Yeah, I sent an email back saying I wasn't trying to get my identity stolen for a figure and to forget it. THe entire project was a disaster and the people behind the scenes were scammers besides.

I really wish the original names had been released (Wagner, LA Park, etc.). But instead we got Sydistiko and Charly Malice (Manson). It still blows my mind how just ten years ago, these were flooding local Walmarts, especially the rings, and now I can't even find the products MOC

The only one I was interested in was LA Parka. And then it was cancelled. Oh well.
