He's doing very good. Mockery aside, let's not pretend many "beloved" announcers are better. Lawler was horrible. Rhodes was just as bad. I don't blame Cole. He's being told how to call matches and probably told what to say. |

AJ has been a staple of RAW for a year. He's won like every match he's had. Omos has been a huge part of the show as well, and everyone was wondering if he was going to be able to wrestle. He's a massive human being, the spectacle of seeing his debut is cool. New Day are one of the most popular acts in the company. Legitimate top tier talent and now are champions. The RAW tag titles have been booked extremely well the past year. How does this equal a "nothing" match? For me, AJ is a singles wrestler. And he doesn't have many Mania's left in him. Give us a dream match with him. They are not a tag team. A real tag team should get a Mania title shot. Omos isn't a wrestler. He's a bball player or something that they want to be a wrestler. He has shown no flashes of being able to wrestle. So its not like we're seeing the debut of Big Show or something here. Maybe i'll be wrong. But most likely this dude will be terrible and will be gone from wrestling in like 2 years i agree with the AJ as a singles....however he's been with Omos for awhile now. and its actually been good. i like the idea of him WANTING to be a tag champ since he's never done it. and whats an actual realistic dream match we could even have? i guess HHH, but that makes no sense given the landscape of the shows now. he's not on smackdown and all the other "main event" guys are in their own stories. Lee woulda been cool I suppose, but something happened with him we dont even know and i doubt he even is on the mania card. i just dont know what else there would be for AJ to do at mania anyway |

I can't think of an announcement team in WWE that I've enjoyed together since gorilla/Heenan. JR/Heyman was great in my books. Ya yknow I kinda forgot about them together, I think my answer includes that pairing too. |
