For me the perfect figure has always been when I can add a new character to my collection.
It didn't matter whether I was a kid and added Dan Severn to my federation or I'm an adult and I add Tegan Nox to a my shelf. Other factors - likeness, colorful attire, accessories - matter. But at the end of the day, the perfect figure is a new figure. Nothing beats opening up a figure of a brand new character who you didn't have in your collection before.
And for me, that's been a big part of where my frustration has grown over the past few years. I'm not just a legends collector - I watched NXT for years until recently, follow indies, Impact, and foreign promotions. But there have just been so few new faces who I want to buy, particularly on the legends side, that it's been really tough to be excited about new figures. For me the best part of the Jazwares line has been seeing so many brand new characters who I like and want to add to my collection.

There is a lot that goes into the perfect figure, but mostly, it needs to be AJ Lee.

Honestly, the ultimate edition Charlotte is pretty much perfect.

The perfect figure for me has to have the right scale and accurate headsculpt. A few that come to mind are Big John Studd, King Mabel and legends Ultimate Warrior. There are many more but those are examples of perfect figures in my opinion.

Nice if it came with a robe, but I agree the figure itself is pretty close to perfect.

I think it starts in the head scan first, then it goes down to the attire, height, skin tone and parts used. If one of those things are off, then it won't be considered a perfect figure. Especially to the buyer.

Ha! I was waiting for someone to post this. Big fan of Mr Perfect...the irony is, those we’ve had so far have been far from perfect. Far too skinny and the colour of hair and some of the attires are off. Smaller knee pads required. Really hoping we get a Perfect, Perfect one day. You could do an awesome Ultimate I think, have a head for his mid match look, hair all ‘poofed up’ and one of his ‘shattered’ faces.

I also love adding new guys that I’ve not been able to have in the collection before. As you say, I would like more but I’ve really found a new love in recent years for the mid card or enhancement legends/flash backs. I never knew of them as ‘enhancement’ guys when I was watching growing up and adding them in really does make a collection so much better. When I first started collecting, the idea of buying a Volkoff would have almost felt forced but these days I’m really happy I get to add him in, Red Rooster was another pick up recently. I think a lot of us are crying out for some of the attitude era guys, val venis, Gangrel, mideon, al snow, Bob holly etc hopefully we get more first in the line guys this year.
