Could someone tell me if the varient of Chris Chelios in series 8 is rare? We have one at my store, and i hide it last night, so should i pick it up? Hey I would pick it up..NHL 8 is a Canadian Only Line..its not the rarest variant ever, but hey its a variant..ah the previlages of working at a toy store. ;D |

I really am in awe of these mcfarlane figures the craftmanship is amazeing and I want to start collecting so if someone can help me and tell me which ones are rare so that when I'm buying them I don't screw up and bypass a rare fig for a shelf warmer PLEASE HELP ME

I only have like 20 NHL Meh.  ing eBay whores, I went to two different Zellers yesterday and they just put out their NHL 8, and there was maybe one or two figure missing in total. Each peg would fit 4 figures and like two out of 12 pegs had one figure missing. Still haven't found a vareint in stores  |

Thank you I saw thses there to MLB 8 Alex Rodriguez Alfonso Soriano Jhon Smolts NBA 3 Mike Bibby Michael Finley and Bret Farve in green I want to get them all sooner or later and start a collection but is there anyone here I should get right away seeing as how it's my luck that I'd find out later I had a rare one on the shelf. NBA 3 Mike Bibby is probobly the only one slightly rare there. If you want rare figures you need to be looking for uniform variations (Variants). You can find who the variants are on www.sportspicksarena.com - click on the series and it will have pictures of the figures and variants. Hope I helped. |

Iam just starting to get into the Sportspick Hockey figs and i found a jackpot of series 7 and 8 last night at zellers. Could you guys tell me what you would recomend to pick up and what is rare in these series?

I think its pretty cool that McFarlane was able to get the Colts Uni update for this release ;D I like the new Dark blue color, and the new grey facemask (rather then the blue one). I cant wait for my case to come in July. I hope i get Two McNairs so i can keep one MOC and open one up.
