Litas Lover-  you stink, i wish my chelios held his stick with 2 hands. I think I got a bad bunch, my gaboriks left skate blade is gone, chelios doesnt hold the stick, giguires mask fell off, oh well, i fixed em all. But like I said, this week I got some cash, so me and my dad went NHL SP hunting today. AND THE LONG WAIT IS OVER, AFTER WANTING THIS SET FOR 5 LONG MONTHS, I FOUND ROB BLAKE VS SHANAHAN. Yep, i am excited that i got it, i also picked up Milan Hedjuk and Anson Carter (I kinda see why its a peg warmer though) I do like all 4 figures though. I think ROB BLAKE is one of my 3 fave SPs that I own, just an outstanding figure. Until NHL8 Belfour lands in my collection, hes probly my fave. On a side note, I think i found every frickin' baseball and Basketball figure that has been made between the 7 stores I went to, i only found about 19 NHL figures total today, and most were carter, lecavier, or naslund. Didnt find a bertuzzi today, maybe later this week, but i might go back and pick up the Foresberg I saw at Walmart. And wait until I take a pic of the jersey im should be getting this weekend. Its so sweet. |

Hey Rivard, if you come across a Sosa Sox, pick it up and i will pay you $25 shipped for it. That goes for anyone. Well im in Rockford this week, and went to Cherryvale mall, the TRU outside of it, and the target and walmart on riverside as i was looking for the blake/shanahan box set, and dont remember seeing any sosa reg or variant at any of them. I just saw a bunch that I see all the time so i dont think i saw anything rare. If I go out again tomarrow to pick up a few more NHL while im here ill be sure to keep an eye out for that Sox Sosa. I dont know if this is big or anything, but i think you said you collect football too, i saw a few Micheal Vicks over at Cherryvalle mall at that stand in the middle with all the sports shirts. They also had the carolina players figure, I forgot his name though. Im not sure if they are rare, but i remember a few people talking about them awhile back. |

I actually found the shanahan/blake set at Target today, the blake is just awesome, im still in shock. did they have alot of NHL figures over at the machesney Target though? i was thinking about going over there tomarrow afternoon. *by the way, WOJC, could you post your pics of your colorado avalanche figs again, im trying to see how they all go together, seeing what ones to get still. |

GRRRRRRR i just noticed something, Selanne was added to NHL6 at the last minute I guess. I was looking at the Blake/shanahan box sets box, and on the back it has the 9 players names and numbers, but MARIAN GABORIK is listed for NHL6!!!!!!!!! they must have added selanne instead so that NHL7 didnt have 3 AVs in it. But that stinks because I could have had my fave player a LONG time ago. And thanks in advance for the pics WOJC, I appreciate it. I cant wait to get my shelves set up at my house in MN for my SPs, i think im going to make the base shelf, and make a custom board/glass combo for it, so it looks kinda like a hockey rink, with all the rink adds and all. anyone wanna buy a space lol  |

Ill definitelly post pics of it. I didnt describe it too great, but what it is, well a white shelf, then i will make is a L shape with the boards against the wall going all the way down, then take clear plastic and cut them like the glass and use red tape to hold them together and look the way the glass does. I will then get some photo printer paper and print out Budwieser, Dodge, CCM, KOHO, Bauer, Exon Energy, Pepsi, Powerade and some other logos and put them on the boards. I may even make a sticker to put on the base of the shelf for each guy, and drill a hole for the peg, put goalies on each end of the shelf. Should look AWESOME.

I have to say the Tim Brown and Torry Holt poses kick ass. McNair looks pretty good but at the moment I'm not really digging Green, Lewis and Manning, although as time goes by I'll probobly grow to like them.
