So as the story goes Davy Boy was suppose to be the 4th man in the NWO but at the last minute he reupped with WWF,
Which is why The Giant became a member of NWO as a last minute thought
How do you think Davy Boy would have fit in with the NWO. Would he have gone US Title route?
Hogan as Champ, Outsiders Tag Champs, Dvay Boy US title?

I dont think he wouldve fit. He was far better off in the New Hart Foundation.

Yeah he wouldve looked outta place for sure.
Glad he stayed with WWF in the end. The Hart Foundation was one of the best things in 97.

The story was back then that Davey Boy could sign with WCW for 2 million, or stay with the WWF for 1.5 million and a title.... instead he got not just the WWF Tag Titles but the WWF European Title too. He was more suited for WWF than WCW. His 1993 run in WCW wasn't good. He was built up as a star and still they had Vader, Regal, and Nasty Boys go over him in title matches that year.

Yeah I think Smith made the right move staying out. But if he had moved? He would have been put over strong like the rest of the group.
Couple that booking with new attire etc & it could have worked...

I think it coulda worked. NWO had just formed as a group of big name WWF outsiders taking over WCW. Bulldog was a major star.
I'm glad it didn't though. The HF in 97 was the best thing in the business.
